I feel like I start this (and other threads) a lot but I swear it’s not me being a huge AW, it’s just I get up early and have some time and like to get it done before I leave the house in the morning as it’s super difficult to upload anything from my phone once I get to school (zero service!) and I computer bump as soon as I get there! Anywayyyy here is a 20 week comparison shot I did out of interest. So much bigger this time!!
18ish weeks with strategically placed cupcake to cover up the fact that my husband's dresser did a Leaning Tower of IKEA last night, so all his clothes are on the couch.
I was wondering why I suddenly have a giant bump, and I realized- I'm only 5 feet tall. There's not a lot of real estate for this kid to take over (and he's a big boy), so the only place for him to go is out.

@ecwk Thanks! Dress is Old Navy, and I was wearing some leggings until it warmed up a little. It's going to be 85 toady, but was 58 at the time of the picture.

Since we have bumps out here and clothes - who else is dealing with a crater of a belly button? Mines actually half popped out already but it’s still a gaping hole and looks so back in clothes. And I look bad in loose stuff - I need fitted, but I feel self conscious about my belly button gap showing in clothes. Here’s an extreme example (id wear maternity spanx with this dress) but it happens with regular tees too.
@pghctwife I can only think of a belly band or some pregnancy shape wear that would help smooth you out but not be too much to wear under a t shirt. Maybe like this?
@pghctwife I totally have noticed the same thing with certain shirts. The only way I've found to minimize it is to wear a pair of pants that go over the belly button, or a fitted camisole underneath the shirt. I guess for the dress situation, maybe a slip or support belt would help.

Yeah... I don’t want to wear support stuff all the time so I’ll just deal except for occasions where I want to look nice. I need a belly button plug!!! LOL

Have you tried a nipple pastie? I feel like if they can hide nipples maybe they can hide belly buttons?

The review on those aren’t great but I’ll look for something like that thx @rocknrrollmom it’s better with my loft jeans that have a ridiculously thick double layered band so maybe if I can find and undie version...

That's what I was thinking. The thick material of my maternity jeans band helps smooth everything out. I have something similar to wear under dressed that has shorts style legs to keep them from chaffing when It gets hot out. It stinks to add another layer but I ended up way more comfortable at the end of the day with them on.

lol! No. I don’t own them bc I have big boobs and they’d never cut it
I use my Bella band to cover my belly button at times, and my general lumpiness. My bump is not firm yet and could use some support! Love seeing everyone’s outfits, it gives me ideas of what to wear the next week!
