Pink polkadots- I love the color pink, and I’m obsessed with polkadots. (Also partially why Minnie Mouse is my soul sister) My mother and my grandmother and great grandmother all adore(d) polkadots as well.
@pink_polkadots oh my goodness I love Minnie Mouse! I always swore I would decorate in everything Minnie if I had a girl!! @thebobloblaw that is hilarious, I love that show! @offtoneverland I used to have a serious obsession with Peter Pan...I used to leave a ribbon hanging outside my unlocked upstairs window hoping it would catch his attention. Needless to say it was always cold in my room...
My real name means Elf Ruler, and I love Harry Potter, so I chose FreeTheElf because of the house elves but also kinda referring to freeing my inner elf. It's cheesy but hey, elves are cool right?
@FreeTheElf thats super creative! I love it. Harry Potter is so great... its almost like comforting/cozy to me to watch those movies. I never watched them until my husband forced me when we started dating. I think Goblet of Fire was the first one I ever saw when it came out in theaters. I was immediately hooked. Also... the ribbon story... adorable. I love that! And you better believe my DD was(and still is) constantly in Minnie Mouse stuff.
@thebobloblaw one of my favorite shows. It started my obsession with Jason Bateman.
Mine is one of my favorite lines from Four Christmases. And let’s be honest, after nursing DD for 2 years and now with DS still going at 18 months, it’s pretty applicable.
@FreeTheElf - I love HP too!! I've read the books SO many times it's a little ridiculous.
I also really like the Hunger Games books/movies hence my username. I just changed it from a different one that I've had since I joined the knot in 2007 to make it more anonymous.

@offtoneverland@pink_polkadots I love the Disney references! I tried to think of one, but was not successful. (I did not try hard) @mockingjay1 I was also on TK for years with another name. I think the woman from the board I was a reg on would be able to guess it was me, but I think it's also anonymous enough that your average Joe wouldn't put two and two together. At least I hope so!

@wannaflickone@loisloan1118 and anyone else loving Jason Bateman we saw Game Night this weekend and it’s hilarious! Definitely one of the funnier movies I’ve seen in a while (TW infertility - there is a subplot featuring what I assume is an inaccurate portrayal of the causes and treatments of male factor infertility)
@lifesabeach85 yay! I've been wanting to see that. Glad to hear you thought it was good. @pink_polkadots I just looked up Orphan because I've never heard of it and it looks terrifying. I didn't read far enough into the description to see all the characters, but maybe that was someone else? I can't imagine Jason Bateman in a psychological thriller.

TTGP December Siggy Co-Winner: Favorite Moments from Holiday Movies/TV
My SN comes from Dr. Who, which is one of my favorite (but not my all-time favorite) TV shows. The main female character a few seasons back was introduced by the nickname before her real name was revealed.
I chose her as my online alter-ego because we both have huge round eyes and boring shoulder-length brown hair, wear plaid, teach English, and like to take on baking projects we have zero ability to pull off (I'd just had a massive souffle fail right before my BFP in '15!)
Loving all the other pop literature references in this group! Y'all are ladies after my own heart.
Super creative ... this will be baby #6 for our fam (5 kidlets and 1 stepdaughter). Although it’s supposed to be showing as mamaofsix2018 ... this app is killing me
My username is Hawaiian for the moon. I've always loved the moon and 9 is my favorite number. Not too creative but it's almost never taken as a username so it works for me.
When I was in college I mistyped my first name one time accidentally hitting f instead of c when typing Marci. Ever since then I've used Marfi for my username. And 236 because it's the bottom corner of the num pad.

Concrete Angel is a Martina McBride song that I related to in my youth. The name was taken, hence the spelling variation. It’s been my go-to username for over a decade.
@concreteayngel I think yours was the screen name I was most curious about. I've been picturing you as some sort of skater girl/emo Avril Lavigne fan with that ayngel spelling straight from the early 2000s. I was way, way off.
