I have my (late) first tri screening tomorrow. I'm nervous and excited! This will be the first US my H is going to see for this pregnancy and I'm excited that s/he will look like an actual baby. Then bloodwork for trisomy 13, 18, and 21. One more sleep!
I have an OB Interview this morning. Since I am changing OBs I’ll meet with the nurse for an hour to go over medical history and such and then on Friday I have my first appointment with the new Ob. Since I will be 12 weeks next Saturday I am hoping they will schedule an US for Friday too. Haven’t seen the baby since I was 6 weeks so it would be nice to see baby again. Also, should be around time for the NT scan anyway.
I have my first tri workup and nt scan this am. It is 2.5-3 hours. DH will come for the ultrasound and then head to work. Tbd whether he brings DS or drops him at daycare first.
We have our first midwife appointment on Thursday. Can't wait!

I have my first trimester screening this morning, as well as blood work being done to test for chromosomal abnormalities. I hope everyone’s appointments go well! @klj0228 I hope you love your new OB. I had to change mid-pregnancy with DD (due to a move) and it was hard, but I ended up really liking (and fully trusting) my OB.
I have my NT scan tomorrow (13 + weeks) so I am super ready to see this baby! NIPT results came back clear so I expect tomorrow to go well - but I am still a ball of energy and nerves. This is my 3rd... and never gets old - but it is our last so really want to enjoy this whole process. Can't WAIT for that US picture!
Everything went well! DS liked seeing baby sister wave at him during the ultrasound and called her a panda bear (maybe since the picture was in black and white?). Nuchal was good and measuring a little ahead this week. About to give all the vials of blood and then maybe eventually get out of here. Edited for clarity: nuchal measurement was good and the baby in general was measuring ahead in terms of size.
Blood draw for all the testing and normal apt. On Thursday morning. I'll be 12 weeks tomorrow. Think I am done with ultrasounds until the big 20 weeker.
I've got my ultrasound and blood work for the Maternit21 test this week! @yankeeinthesouth similar boat here, I have to bring my one year old with lol.. hopefully he will be ok while I get the ultrasound haha. The Dr doing the ultrasound is one I had throughout my pregnancy with DS (we had lots of ultrasounds due to him having a two vessel cord) so it will be cool to see him again and have the two of them meet!

Good luck to us, chicandbubbly! This is the first time I have taken DD back to my OB's office since she was born so that will be kind of cool for us too.
@spottedginger - No, it was an automated message. I have to call tomorrow once they open to reschedule. Assuming all went well I was going to tell family on St Patrick's Day Saturday so I'm hoping they can fit me in sometime this week. If not it will have to be in the next week because I'll be 14 weeks next Thursday and that's too late to do the NT measurements.

Had my first tri screen today with NT ultrasound. I ended up being super nervous before hand and it turns out my bladder was too full so I had to pee partway to get a better look. BUT, baby looks good, HR is 167, NT measurements were normal and they found the nasal bone. Still measuring right on track. So thankful for an uneventulful appointment (and more pictures of this little jumping bean!).
I have a nuchal ultrasound and appointment with the midwife on Thursday. I'm both excited and nervous since this is our first ultrasound, and it's a genetic marker U/S.
Our NT scan did not go great and even though NIPT came back normal they are sending me for an amnio. I am absolutely crushed and sick. I know God has a plan for our family but man I’m having a hard day.
edited to clarify: we have an NT hygroma .. it is the hygroma that we are concerned about.
@marym94 I'm sorry you didn't get better results. I don't know how accurate the NT scan is, but I do know that it is a screening tool and it is not diagnostic by any means. The fact that your bloodwork came back normal would give me some hope. Good luck with the amnio, I'll keep you in my thoughts.
@marym94 I’m sorry the NT did not go as expected. Try to keep your head up and remember it is not fool proof it is only a screening tool. Keep your head up!
I had my big “initial” OB appointment yesterday and it went well. Had to do the full exam/pap, heard the HB, had lots of blood drawn, and got a huge folder of stuff to look through. My next appointment is the AS on April 9! I’ll be just shy of 19 weeks. This pregnancy is FLYING by!

I’m sorry @marym94. I’m so hopeful for you that the amnio will be clear like the blood work. I had a friend have an “abnormal” NT scan and went on to have a healthy baby. They “couldn’t find the nasal bone” and had to repeat the scan later. Errors do happen, so fx that’s all it is.
Thank you all for your encouragement. We have a hygroma behind the baby's neck. I believe that God is the ultimate healer and I am praying that He heals this hygroma. I know he can. thank you so much for your support. It is amazing what this community can do for someone.
My snowed out OB physical / NT from yesterday was rescheduled for this afternoon and I just got done with the NT scan related bloodwork. The NT measurement was 2.9mm which I was an idiot and Googled which tells me that's the higher end of normal, but since the measurement alone doesn't mean much I'm trying not to worry about it until I get my bloodwork results back. It took over a week with DS so I'm hoping not to be waiting that long this time. Otherwise we got to see a cute little baby with 2 arms, 2 legs, a brain, and the heart beating away at 160-something.

Had my 12 week apt. this morning. Good outcome, but not fun moments (there's a warning for a scary moment).
The tech did her stats and then checked for heart beat with the external monitor, and she couldn't find it. She was a great tech, and very calm and collected. She thought she may have heard it once but after looking for a good amount of time couldn't get it to register. At that point I was worried. We switched rooms to one with an ultrasound machine, and I waited for the Dr to come in. Long few minutes. The Dr. said well maybe tech wasn't looking low enough, or baby is moving around too much, and before doing an ultrasound which my insurance might not cover she was going to try with the HB monitor again. Yeah, she couldn't find the heart beat. My heart sank. Especially when she just stopped trying and was like, time to use sonogram. So we found baby, and it took another few moments to register that there was movement and a heart beat. Baby had the nerve to start waving after scaring me so badly. Heart beat was actually fine and strong, baby had moved up further than you'd expect at 12 weeks.
After that everything went smoothly. Took a lot of blood for the genetic testing, which should be back in 7-10 days. Scheduled my next apt. and the 20 week apt/bigger ultrasound - which my office now does in house, so that's convenient!
Sat in my car afterwards and had a few emotional moments...the scare and pregger hormones are not a good combo.
How scary @Lcardinal04! I’m so glad the outcome was good and you got a look at baby!
My 15 week appointment went well yesterday. HB 148-152 and uterus at the expected level. Diagnosed with a mild yeast infection, which sucks, but otherwise looking good. Scheduled my AS in five weeks! It’s going so fast this time!
@Lcardinal04 Phew! That must have been scary. I'm glad everything is OK. @Wishilivedinflorida YAy for good appointment! I hope the infection clears up fast.
Just had a great first MW appointment. She was very happy to see us again *TW* pregnant after our losses. *End TW* She gave me requisitions for some blood and urine tests and took my medical history. We heard the HB at 145 bpm and she said my uterus is right where it should be.
