Does being an emotional basket case count as a twat? If so, I am the twat today. I cannot stop crying and being overly emotional. I cried on my way to work, as in, uncontrollable sobbing.

@zombiehoohaa oh no! You poor thing! Feel better! I used to be like that like clockwork for one day 24-48 hours before my period. I had to check my calendar and keep to myself during that time. I'm really surprised I have only had a couple of emotional incidents during pregnancy but I definitely know the feeling. I hope everyone around you is extra nice and kind and nurturing today! And no. That does not count as making you the T!

The twat: IMMIGRATION!
So after discovering and accepting that my citizenship will take 9 months to process, I'm pleasantly surprised to learn that they have already scheduled me for finger prints. Great! I open the online notice and guess what? The appointment is scheduled for when I will be in Texas babysitting my DH's grandma while in laws are on a cruise (note: plane tickets are purchased and I'm happy and excited to help considering all they do for us).

Well, no problem, let's reschedule fingerprints!
Process as follows: wait for PHYSICAL NOTICE to arrive in the mail, MAIL notice back to VIRGINIA (I'm in CA) saying I want to reschedule, WAIT an unspecified amount of time for a new appointment that I can't choose, and of course I'll be notified via MAIL when a decision is made. All of this with a tiny disclaimer that says that of course this will delay my application.

I swear if the new appointment falls during my babymoon I'll just fly to Virginia and yell at these people. Almost $1000 for this application should pay for a freaking online scheduling system!

Holy toledo, @kissableviv ! I would be livid!! There isn't even a number you can call? Wait, don't answer that. The system is so messed up already. I'm sorry you have to deal with that nonsense. What a headache and then some.

@zombiehoohaa yea i think i'm on that boat.... I was thinking my TW was snow/my disfunctional body causing an arthritis and back-outage in unison which is making me short, cranky, foggy, and all I want to do is crawl back into bed and cry...but yea I think hormones might be on that same party wagon...

@kissableviv it absolutely amazes me that there is no online system. WTF?

I think DS is a twat today. He is just being 2.5, and its getting to me. It was one of those days where I yelled a LOT, and I just felt like such a shit I don't want to lose control, you know? But holy moly, its been a day. I did get the kitchen cleaned, did some yoga, and two loads of laundry, so I guess the day wasn't a total waste!

@gingerbride26 the snow is my back up twat. Seriously april is two weeks away, and I have 3 ft piles of snow on my deck again since it keeps falling off the roof!

I have another twat...my bil, P.

With all this talk of us possibly moving into a house that P currently lives in (owned by DH and P's sister, S. Also, see my BF post), he wants to know how long we would live there. Dude, we are having a baby! It would be a minimum of 1.5-2 years. We wouldn't move in somewhere thinking we are going to move in 6 months to a year. Sorry, this is a long term deal, at least. He thinks because he is on again with gf, that moving her in and playing house is going to solve everything for him. He was told by S's husband that moving her in and being in an unstable relationship, the new rent is not going to change if/when she moves out. Then what, P is going to want me and DH to move in? It doesn't work that way. P doesn't want to give up the freedom or reign of the house and doing whatever he wants there (which is obviously not take care of said house). I keep thinking, if he were renting from a non family member, he would have been evicted a long time ago. If you are not able to pay rent on time and take care of where you live, then you shouldn't be allowed to have reign over it. Allow us to move in, take responsibility of the house, move into the smaller room, and you will still have your freedom to come and go as you please. You just won't get to make decisions on what is done there.
He needs to grow up and stop being a twat! ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@SmashJam yes! - i was yelly mom today too. I know she's just being a typical 22 month old and testing boundaries but I totally pulled the "YOUR DAUGHTER!" card and walked away when she refused to go upstairs for a diaper change, but sorry not sorry my back is out and i'm not hauling her big butt up 2 flights of stairs kicking and screaming. Also same here with the snow off the roof - we installed solar and you have to fear the avalanche when you let the dog off....
