Thank you ladies! Itching was definitely not overwhelming, just noticed it occasionally Saturday and Sunday .....and so far nothing today- I’ll still absolutely let the dr know today- I’m so paranoid of everything with this cerclage

Why are you high-risk? low PAPP-A
Any additional monitoring or testing this week? Luckily not this week...just got the dx last week and I'm still processing it. I was borderline Pre-E with DD and was hoping for an uneventful pregnancy (doesn't everyone though?). Next appointment is March 30 with my OB and to get my referral to MFM.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I just love that TB can connect people experiencing similar situations in the same-ish stages of pregnancy. I think that's pretty cool. I depended a lot on Feb17 to get through my first pregnancy and the transition to taking care of a kiddo. Not sure what I'd have done without that board, and so long as y'all are cool with me being a little behind you, I think this will be invaluable as well.
GTKY: If money was no object, what would you do all day? Any sort of powersports. We ride atvs/snowmobiles/motorcycles any chance we get and I cannot wait to be retired and do this with H on the daily. I joke that our favorite activities together include both of us having a helmet on and on our own machines, but hey, whatever keeps us happy!
post op went well! cervix is measuring 3.58 and looks nice and closed...... baby girl looked amazing.......
dr didnt seem concerned about the itchiness since no weird discharge or odor accompanied it and it seems to have resolved today. he said just keep and eye out for anything else... he didn't want to swab since there have been no symptoms today and the less amount of stuff going up there the better......

@Patience7150 welcome! Of course you can hang out here. I have a late Aug due date anyway so not too far ahead of you. I did not have a PAPP-A measurement but am also being monitored for similar complications given my history (pre-e, hypertension, IUGR)
@mrsbubbles-2 well he said i can go back to doing most normal things...and just take it easy when i can.. so i can go grocery shopping and all the basic things... but no heavy lifting, no long hikes and i remain on pelvic rest

Forgive my AW moment... So at the MFM appointment yesterday they drew blood for my A1C. January I was at 6.1, MFM said not bad but we have some work to do. Just got my results posted to my portal - 5.4!!!
I'm so excited, I've NEVER gotten a result this good! When I was like 38 weeks with DS I was at 5.5 and they were thrilled with that one - my nurse from yesterday even sent me a message saying what a great test result it was and that I was doing a good job.
i am requesting my A1C get drawn at my regular OB appointment next week... crossing my fingers i'm still good
