I cried in Yoga last night. Moreso embarassing and thankfully the instructor is my friend and told me people cry in her regular classes (I was in prenatal).
More embarrassing than anything because I’m typically not that outwardly emotional, but I was having a bad SPD pain day and was so frustrated at not being able to do some moves full force and was getting down on myself.
I’m going through DD’s baby clothes to see if there is anything unisex and what I’m going to sell and I was a total emotional mess going through all these baby girl outfits that I remember her in. It’s so hard to let go of this stuff!
@princesslockness I got a ham and cheese omelette and hashbrowns this morning on the way to work so I am right there with you. I'm a bit stuffed though but it was worth it.
My current job negotiated with my new job to keep me for FOUR weeks. I am bitter about this as I wanted to start ASAP with the pregnancy and I don't have THAT much to finish up. So I am super demotivated and slacking, and making sure to do all my dental, pregnancy etc appts before I leave.
Another one: I love my pregnant boobs so much. I wish they could always look like that (I am a B cup but they get so nice and full while pregnant and early BFing before they get all saggy and empty towards the end). I want to get a boob job+lift once I'm done BFing this kid, but I am worried it will make it harder to detect breast cancer down the road which is my only hesitation (aside from money I guess).
Add me to the unhealthy breakfast club. After I'd already left for daycare this morning, I remembered I was all out of oatmeal at work and the convenience store in our building is closed this week. Sooo Tim Horton's FTW. And I'm going out for lunch today too. No fucks given.
I had no idea that different areas of the country had different Girl Scout cookies
I learned this on one of my facebook groups (leggings of all things lol!) and one of the members posted her daughter's link to order online!
I've never had the lemonade ones or the s'mores that are dipped in chocolate (as opposed to the sandwich cookie) until last night and now my life is forever changed.
I told DH the reason we had to order cookies online after we received our orders from the 2 girls we bought from in our neighborhood is because he didn't order any thin mints.
But really I wanted lemonade cookies. So worth it.
@riverbed When my friend told me this I was like noooo you're just making me feel better but she said that people feel releases during yoga and work things out that just come out. It's very interesting to me now. I know I was in a supportive environment but man haha
I had an Egg McMuffin after school drop off, and I am about to go get a donut or two from the office kitchen. I was sad I had gained 15 lbs already at my appointment yesterday... obviously I'm not too sad.
His three plus my one; we are all excited to welcome a little one!
TW - @scottishlass1213 Maybe this is my FFFC we spent a buttload of money trying to save our cat 2 years ago. He was like our baby. (I know people hate that and do not think it is in anyway the same as a real kid) We spent money and 3 months worth of syringe feeding and all kinds of stuff trying to save him. We are still paying those bills off. I always thought I would never spend tons of money on a cat but, when DH and I talked about it we said we want to know that we did everything, within reason, that we could. I would never judge anyone for not spending tons of money trying to save a pet. Everyone does what they can and needs to make their own decisions based on what is best for them.
@Brezzy1928 my sister has 6 animals and they don't want kids and I know she has recently just spend like $2k minimum on diabetes medicine for her cat. I don't know if my DH would ever do that. I mean I love my cats and thankfully we've never had to face that but I don't know. Though I don't judge either way to anyone that does or doesn't do something.
I've got another one today. I've had a coffee and an 8oz cherry coke and it's only 11:30. Water it is for the rest of the day but I needed it this morning.
My FFFC: I've been browsing craigslist because I live in an area with a ton of rich people that sell high quality stuff for cheap just because they can and I was looking at the baby items and it really skeeves me out some things people will buy used. I just can't grasp buying a breast pump on craigslist. Major ick.
I had doughnuts for breakfast. Really good glazed twists from the local doughnut shop. Now I’m going to eat some teriyaki Ramen and a Mountain Dew. Junk food FTW today. But really I just feel like crap and don’t want to cook anything.
@mrsbubbles-2 Haha same, and I keep giving DH false hope and telling him "maybe tomorrow." I'm so mean. I need to just throw the man a bone but ughgghhh I'm so tired...
OMG you poor girls. I've wanted sexy time for like close to 2 weeks but now DH is leery of me with my pelvic issues though I told him I could push through the pain. I'm sure that's super sexy hahahah
@juliebird6 lol! DH has totally been like okay, whatever, let me know. It's great! But it's been really nice actually, we aren't the every-other-day kinda couple in the first place and it took us 5 months of the every-other-day boring baby making sex, that was actually really hard on our relationship. So it's actually been really nice not to have that pressure and feel like I always had to make it 'special' or surprise him, you know?
@scottishlass1213 - omg I can just imagine your H's reaction to that. Like... he wants to... but he doesn't... lol!
I cried today when I dropped my son off at day care because he thought it was the weekend and didn't want me to leave. In his defense, we had a doctor's appt (check up) for him this morning so he didn't realize we still had to go to day care afterward. His teacher kind of kicked me out of the room (I guess I was a bit of a distraction) and it kiiiiinda hurt my feelings because I just wanted to comfort my baby!! Wahhh. Hormones.

Yes, I do know! This totally sounds like us. DH has been pretty patient since we literally haven't done it at all since my BFP so I have been feeling guilty. But we also aren't that "regular" so TTC is a strain for us. The break is nice.
FFFC: I want it daily but I know DH wouldn't be able to keep up. Though I wish I could have it in the morning more but DH is a nighttime person and I do get so tired.
Also, catching up on that threesome talk here, from last week I think it was, got me all hot and bothered and then DH and I talked about it during ST that night which was pretty hot.
When SO and I first started dating I could not get enough sex, even throughout my first tri I just wanted that D alllllllll the time. Now I'm like...nah..I'm good. Then I take care of myself.
@alinafed Also desperately want a boob job/loft after this baby. I was heavier in high school, so my boobs were bigger. Then I lost weight and kept it off. So, the boobs were already a little saggy. But, after nursing two kids for a year each, they’re like old saggy tube socks hanging from my chest. I can only imagine the state of them after nursing Baby #3.
But, like you, my big concern is detecting breast cancer. My Mom recently had a “pre-cancerous” area removed from her breast. According to her doc, it doesn’t increase my chances of getting it, but I don’t want to mess up the opportunity to catch something early if it forms.
That being said, I haven’t researched this at all to see what implants mean for mammograms and breast cancer detection.
@calimom2524 I'd buy a breast pump used, no problem. All the parts can be disinfected/boiled so it doesn't bother me in the least. Things like furniture are harder because you don't know what kind of nastiness is inside, and there is no way to really clean or really disinfect.

Ladies who want implants, do your research!!! A good friend of mine just had surgery on Monday to get hers taken out because they were making her chronically ill.

I cried last night over our cat we had to put down last spring. DH is getting a tattoo to represent the cat and it made me sob.
Probably because my DH said that if anything happened to our cats where we had to spend a substantial amount of money, he wouldn't LOL

After two snow days and no power, I dropped DD at day care and am currently lounging on the couch by myself since my school is closed. No regrets.
