R/R: We have family (8 adults) staying with us from Switzerland for 2 weeks at the
end of March and I’m really excited/nervous about it. Our house isn’t small,
but it’s definitely not equipped for us plus 8. Also, I'm officially ready for Spring. Winter can GTFO.
CS/Q: Nothing to see yet.
GTKY: How would your friends describe you? My friends always
make fun of me for being so blunt all the time. They would also say I’m a
really fun drunk

CS/Q:nope
GTKY: How would your friends describe you? Funny always joking around.
R/R: Small clots added to the spotting so I'm out this cycle. Just waiting for AF at this point. Not gonna let it get me down. Already had the tears regarding it yesterday and the day before. Just looking to move forward now.
CS/Q:

GTKY: How would your friends describe you? Honest. Adventurous. Outgoing.
@eleven_ yes for spring! And that's a lot of people! I hope it's a blast and not too stressful! @Stargazer1lily i hope your foot heals quickly! @lurvleybunchococonuts sorry about AF. She's a real jerk.
R/R: Feeling really tired and foggy this week. It is killing me and making me feel incompetent at work. That is all my own feelings though as my boss is awesome. Just wish it would stop.
CS/Q: -
GTKY: How would your friends describe you? I think they would describe me as funny, but also excitable. I love to make people laugh and I can get stressed easily. The latter happens less as I get older and get the DGAF attitude.
@eleven_ I appreciate blunt people more now (at my advanced age of 29 *har har*). Why are all the Swiss descending on you?
@Stargazer1lily I'm glad you got out yesterday. Hoping you can get back to full health soon!
@lurvleybunchococonuts I'm sorry you are out this month. I'm glad you have such a good attitude about it. I know I have let AF get me down too often. Fx for next time! Are you crafty like a Bond Villian or like a local artist?
@Kath525 Ooo! What did you get (if it isn't too personal)?
eleven_ sounds like fun having a ton of swiss family invade My German niece and her friend are coming to stay with me in a couple weeks so they can tear it up in NYC... family visits are fun and exhausting Stargazer1lily Glad you could get out of the house! Hope that ankle gets better soon @lurvleybunchococonuts ugh.. so sorry AF found you this cycle
Kath525 Im a heavy prime user! Its so theraputic lol
meri-mac ugh, sorry you are so tired.... I hate that feeling

WAYDTGKU: sex, supplements
R/R: HMMMMMM So I just got off the phone with my IVF scheduling nurse and they dont really do natural FET cycles So either i have to start BCP's now (nope) or lupron right after ovulation. If I do that then I cant TTC this cycle since lupron can cause birth defects... SOOOOOOO Either i go ahead and start my FET essentially this cycle or wait an extra cycle. A big part of me wants one good natural cycle after this whole surgery saga, but part of me say: ah to hell with it, lets get this FET going.... Im strongly leaning towards waiting one more cycle, but we shall see....
R/R: I really love my new house, it's been so hard to leave to go to work. H and I have made so much progress. I feel like together we can do anything. Rant: I have a bunch of returns I have to make today. Also H wanted this print that's 24x24 it's legit almost impossible to find that size frame with a mat. I went to Michaels they said it would be $200-300!!!!!!!! Now I have to wait until a coupon comes up. The print was 100$ I seriously can't believe the frame is going to cost me 3 times more.
CS/Q:
GTKY: How would your friends describe you? Loyal and driven
@eleven_ Oh wow! That sounds like an adventure! I am sure you are going to rock being a host! @Stargazer1lily I hope your foot gets better soon! Glad you got out of the house! It's amazing what fresh air can do! @lurvleybunchococonuts So sorry you are having a rough emotional couple of days. I hope AF comes soon so you can move on! @Kath525 Sorry about AF! Amazon prime is the bomb! I have to stay away as much as possible or bad things happen. Hahah! @meri-mac I love nice understanding bosses who can understand when you aren't at your best, but still support you. I have always said that I can handle a job I don't like as long as I have great managers and co-workers. @dragonette505 I don't know much about IVF and all that's involved, but I sure hope everything works out with whatever you decide! @galactickates I am so glad you are loving your new house! Anything photography and frame related is extremely expensive! I wanted to get a canvas set of photos, which involve weird dimensions for the ones I want, and YES so expensive!! DH wants to buy the frames himself! Do you think that is something YH would be interested in? There are youtube videos for everything, he could probably build a frame! Month/Cycle: 3/3

WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, OPK R/R: Rant: People may not agree with me, but I don't want to be benched. My doctor gave me no medical reason to. So... I am just going to go on and do my thing. God will decide the rest. Rave: Feeling pretty good today. AF is done. Got my on-boarding done for work, will go in for training on Sunday. Got groceries this morning. I am just now drinking my coffee since we were out. Then I'll be doing some chores. I feel like I have been so lazy and emotional this past week or so, so I need to get back into gear and get crap done. It's beautiful clear blue skies and 63 degrees. I am in a very determined "I make my own decisions" mood today. Haha!
CS/Q: Chart is still a bit boring. No questions.
GTKY: How would your friends describe you? Kind, compassionate, adventurous, loyal, fun loving.
@stargazer1lily I love going on drives. Sometimes it feels
so good just to get out of the house! @lurvleybunchococonuts I’m so sorry to see you here Moving forward is sometimes all we can do. @kath525 Sorry for AF. Amazon Prime = @meri-mac I’m sorry you are feeling foggy and tired. That’s
exactly how I felt yesterday. Our swiss relatives just like to visit the US
every couple of years. They are going to stay with us in Utah for 2 weeks and
then spend a weekend in Vegas @dragonette505 I don’t have any advice for you, but I hope
you can come to a decision that you are happy with. Your U/S is tomorrow right? @galactickates Yay for loving your new house! Yeah,
framing pictures can be expensive AF. I buy all of my frames at Ikea lol @whitmore1027 I
support you, girl! I would do the same thing.

@galactickates Setting up a new house is so much fun. My DH and I moved into ours in October, and we're still finalizing the organization of it. Enjoy!
@whitmore1027 From everything I've read, if the doctor doesn't give you a medical reason to be benched, then it's for dating purposes only. I think if you feel comfortable with your decision, then you do you. That sounds like a good mood to be in

R/R: I think I raved about this in another thread already, but oh well. My DH found out yesterday that he landed a really great job he interviewed for last week! We are so excited. The best part will be having him home every night for supper.
CS/Q: I'm probably going to need help with my chart later. I'm gonna wait a few more day and see if my temps start making more sense.
GTKY: How would your friends describe you? Hmm.. they'd probably say funny and sensitive.
@Spylon Yay!!! Congrats about your DH's new job! So exciting. My DH worked evenings for a bit and then switched to mornings pretty recently. Life is so much better with him home!

@eleven_ and @Spylon I love that you ladies support me. I may be in an "I make my own decisions" mood, but I am also the kind of person that takes to heart what people say, so if someone was against it, then I would be like..."welll...yeah...okay...I guess..."hahaha! I bet it DOES have to do with dating purposes. That makes total sense.
@Spylon Yay! Congrats to your H! That is so great!
TW @Whitmore1027 It is because of dating purposes. Cycles after CPs are strange. I o'd 6 days later than I usually do the first time, and 8 days later the 2nd time. Just prepare yourself for a wonky cycle. I have also read some women O early. So use your OPKs and monitor your CM, because it could come at any time!

@Spylon congrats to your H about the new position! That's wonderful plus it's great you get to have dinner together!
@eleven_ all H wanted for his birthday was to not have to worry about the print so I'm on my own! He's taken care of almost everything else. I really want to do this for him. One less thing on his plate
@Whitmore1027 I totally get not wanting to be benched. I mentally fought with myself my whole benched cycle. Didn't matter in the end though because here I am still!
@dragonette505 I totally read that as "sex supplements" I had lots of follow up questions. I was curious what your plan was going to be after surgery. I can see the pros and cons to waiting. It would be awesome if your surgery did the trick!
@eleven_ Holy cow, *8* people coming to stay! My introvert self would freak out, haha. I'm sure it'll be fun though and since they're from Switzerland, I assume it's been a while since you've caught up?
@Stargazer1lily Sorry you're still dealing with your injury! Hope it improves soon.
@lurvleybunchococonuts I'm sorry about AF on her way. That's awesome that you're crafty - I'm the least crafty person alive, so I'm always so jealous of people's crafting skills - what type of crafts do you do?
@galactickates Custom framing is SO expensive it's insane. I bought a whole bunch (like 8, I think) of beautiful illustrations and they were all slightly weird sizes but I didn't think anything of it until I got the estimate to frame them all and I nearly fell off my chair. I ending up biting the bullet and doing it (because I loved the prints) but I swear I'll never buy anything other than 8x10 or whatever again! Do you ever shop at society 6? They sell pretty reasonably priced art already in the frame and that's what I've been doing since then.
@Whitmore1027 Enjoy those beautiful blue skies and nice weather! And try to be gentle with yourself as far as getting back into gear after a loss, it can be really hard to do and whatever pace you go at is just fine. (This is something I keep telling myself too.) But enjoy your make your own decisions mood! Sounds empowering and awesome!
@Spylon That's awesome about your husband's job!! Woo!

R/R: Rant: my new job is so much less crazy than my old one BUT...it's still pretty crazy. I've been working 11 hour days pretty routinely and it's been hard to keep up with everything. I wanted to post here all day yesterday, on multiple threads, and could not even find 5 minutes! I hope it calms down soon. Rave: I will be getting my first paycheck from new job this week and it's the highest rate I've ever gotten, so I'm really proud of that. And we will need every penny because my ancient car is so, so close to dying.
CS/Q: Nothing to see here.

WAYDTGKU: Took an international day trip today just to get blood tests done. They will either make an IF version of Up in the Air about me, or I need taking away by men in straight jackets. Oh and all the normal supplements etc
R/R: Had a fun day with DH, we had only the one appointment so sat in coffee shops and wandered museums etc in between. Pleased to have got the last of the testing done, now to wait for the results which apparently will take a few weeks.
CS/Q: Nope, crazy temps and decided not to start OPKs/CBAD until tomorrow so not much to see so far.
GTKY: How would your friends describe you? Serous and crazy. Can be relied upon to step up to the karaoke mike when nobody else will ;-)
@eleven_ wow 8 adults for two weeks is a lot for a long time. I hope they will have their own transport. I find we can handle visitors for 3-4 days, after that the novelty well and truly wears off. We have four adults and three under 8s coming for 4 nights at Easter. But other than getting all the Easter baskets and eggs for the Easter hunt I did nothing to prepare so far. Priorities ;-)
@galactickates oooh I missed that you moved into your new house!!! I loved that new house feeling. And I still love our house.
@dragonette505 oh that’s frustrating that they don’t offer a natural start FET. I would also be super reluctant to do BCP or Lupron.
@whitmore1027 I also support doing extra to track when you O, just in case
@meri-Mac do you get foggy normally? I had a spell of that and before my gluten intolerance was diagnosed, I felt like a new human after.

@maureenmce I haven't heard of that site I'll have to check it out. My thought was to find a picture at the store that was already framed - home goods or tJ maxx and just use that frame. Sometimes they are weird sizes and it would be be cheaper then getting framed. We actually have tons of walk art but we saw this specific print somewhere and H REALLY wanted it. Never again though...
@galactickates I wanted to get my fiance a hand-carved Nuka Cola sign which I saw at Hal-Con, but it was $600. I found a good jpeg of the image I wanted and purchased a canvas print for $130. There are a lot of sites who do this and you can get a frame if you want for much cheaper than Michael's.
@Whitmore1027 Sometimes you need those lazy and emotional days to recoup. I say do what makes you happy. If there is no medical reason for you to be benched then get to it My 90s self is dying to say "You go, gurl!"
@Spylon Congratulations!! I know how big it can be just to have supper with DH. Seems small, but it makes a big difference.
@emmasemm Not very often. Maybe once a month. I was focusing pretty intensely on one project, so trying to switch out of that made me feel hazy. Also, if I don't get 9 hours of sleep, that tends to happen.
@galactickates Okay that is ADORABLE. Worth it this one time, haha. Yeah, society6 is great, but it can take some digging to find exactly what you want. I have like 3 or 4 pieces from there now and have been super happy, but probably took me a couple weeks of digging to find each one.
@Stargazer1lily That's a smart H you got there, I know that was driving you crazy. Glad to hear you got out and blew your hair in the wind!
@lurvleybunchococonuts Sorry about af. It's always so heartbreaking but I'm glad you are wanting to look forward. af, as witchy as she is, means we get to try again. Hugs
@Kath525 I did some retail therapy myself this morning. I've been trying to ban myself from Amazon prime for 60 days, but opk sticks are important, right?????
@meri-mac I'm with you. The older I get, the more idgaf but igaf a lot more about the things that are truly important. I'm sorry you've been foggy and tired. Ugh, I hate the days I feel incompetent at work. Just remind yourself of your accomplishments. That always helps me. Hope you get some refreshed sleep soon!
@dragonette505 Can you find a clinic that does offer it? That makes no sense. I don't understand these people. It's like, we are paying for this sh@# with our own money. Does it affect their raving statistics or something when someone wants to do some parts naturally??
@galactickates You're telling me! MH picked the strangest measurements of prints to hang and I had to find the frames. I had no idea it would be so difficult. But it's like when you find the thing you want to hang, you have to hang it lol How are the doggies settling in? Do they have more room to run around then before?
@Whitmore1027 I wholeheartedly support you in that decision and good for you!! I would add resilient, humble, and strong to your list
@Spylon But what all the things are you doing? Congrats on YH's new job and having him home for supper. I know as a wife that it's a pretty big deal. Do you have plans to try out any new recipes?
@maureenmce Was it you who mentioned working in reality tv? So do I! I'm a story producer. I'm taking a break after a couple of years of straight work minus the holiday breaks. I know those 11 hour days really well haha Congrats on having your pay raised!
@emmasemm A few weeks!? That would drive me crazy! Remind me. What tests did you have done again?
R/R: MH was triggered pretty badly last night. He didn't realize it until this morning and came to sit beside me in bed to explain. I'm so glad he realized it because I was about to have a really crap day thinking I wasn't good enough or that he wasn't happy being with me. Ugh. We both have had a traumatic past (separately) so sometimes it's hard. However, I'm optimistic about it always because we've come a long way together. We have gotten really quick at realizing a trigger and communicating.
CS/Q: Nothing to see.
GTKY: How would your friends describe you? Probably as loyal to a fault, super analytical, insanely protective of those I love, and unashamedly transparent. Strangers know way more about my vagina than they should! What? Life is way too short!

@maureenmce thanks!! They have another print I REALLY want, and you can have them add your dogs names on the tags. We have a brown and black doxie. I'm totally in love with this print. I think I'd order it much smaller though our at least find the frame first
@meri-mac they actually sell the canvas print at Walmart for much cheaper but I'm thinking it's going to be a major piece of wall art possibly above our fire place and I want 2-3 inches of mat and the frame. I think I need to just bite the bullet and/or look into getting a couple quotes.
@emmasemm - we ordered our blinds and I totally thought of you. We have to wait 30 days!!!! But we went with Lowes and it was around $1000. And we were able to get 10% off. We had 13 windows. H thought it would $500 and was a little shocked. I was really happy when I heard what you were quoted! Did you ever get yours sorted out?
@lurvleybunchococonuts - sorry to see you here are you trying another medicated TI cycle now? @Spylon - congrats on your H's new job!!! Sounds like he'll have better hours now, huh? @dragonette505 - that is a tough choice to make... good luck, whatever you decide! @Whitmore1027 - Like others said, if it's not for medical reasons do what makes you most comfortable. I'd probably do the same thing, too.
Month/Cycle: 7/3 CD: 4 WAYDTGKU: Gonal-F, Ovidrel, Endometrin; PNV, Myo-Inositol, NAC R/R: I asked for a 5% raise today... eek. It's justifiable, though, because my work load is going to increase a lot next year because a department that handled a good portion of the leg work for something I manage is going away, and I'm going to have to do 100% of the work myself. Not excited about that but I'll swallow my irritation if my monthly pay is padded. Also, meds arrived today! GTKY: How would your friends describe you? Most of my friends jokingly call me mom since I'm always the one keeping track of whats going on
@Whitmore1027 I agree with everyone else, you're going to want to track extra carefully this month. I'm in the same boat as you this month just a few days farther into my cycle. I've been using CBAD for 4 months and this month everything is happening about 2 days later than previous cycles.
I have been listening to The Greatest Showman soundtrack while cleaning, which makes my heart happy, and gives me confidence.
@eleven_ That's good to know! Thanks! I have some OPKs from last cycle, but I'll have to buy more. lol @galactickates Yeah I am kind of thinking that I might as well try because, it probably won't work anyway...but I try not to have those negative thoughts... @maureenmce Aww thank you! I almost feel bad that I want so bad just to get back to it... But, it's how I feel, and I just can't help that. Yes, loving this weather. I open all the blinds and let the light in and it's sooo nice! @emmasemm Last cycle was the first time I did it all (The bbt, cm, cp, opks), and I actually enjoy all the charting. It's fun seeing what my body does! Aww coffee shops and museums sound so fun!! @galactickates I LOVE that! I have to show that to my friend who has a doxy! @meri-mac Haha I say so much 90's stuff. I told my H to "talk to the hand cause the face ain't listening" the other day. @suzycupcake GIRL YOU SO SWEET! @wishiwaspreggo Thank you!! Yay for asking for a raise! That's awesome! I don't think I have ever done that, and I think I would be too scared. lol @cate03 Thank you! I will definitely do that! I am interested to see what happens honestly. Haha.
@meri-mac Booo! I hate feeling foggy! I hope you geel better soon. Lol, I wish I were crafty like a bond villian, but no... I just like to make crap
@dragonette505 Hmm... I hope you're able to weigh the pros and cons and come to a decision you feel good about regarding FET or wait an extra cycle
@galactickates YAY! So glad you're loving the new home Good lord... that's an absurd price for a frame! *hugs* thanks friend
@whitmore1027 Thanks I hope you're doing ok and although I haven't personally gone through it, I can completely understand wanting to just move on and not waiting. You need to make those decisions for you and YH, not anyone else. So long as your doctor is onboard you do what you need to girl
@spylon Congrats! That's awesome news about YH's new job!!
@maureenmce I do all sorts of stuff, sewing, crocheting, knitting, baking, canning, gardening, silly little crafts around the house, and most recently I've been doing a lot of cross stitching. Good luck with work, I hope it calms down quickly!
@emmasemm I hope your blood draw went well and you get your results quickly!
@suzycupcake Thanks, yeah... I was pretty bummed for a few days, but not worth being upset over for long... it is what it is. And plus side... I actually ovulated which in itself is a HUGE win even if it didn't pan out. I'm sorry YH had a bad night last night, that's always rough. It can be soooo difficult not to take it personally, but being able to work through it and learning what works and what doesn't is huge
@wishiwaspreggo Ya know I was just talking to MH about that. I think we are gonna do one more since neither of us even considered the possibility of potentially bleeding again BEFORE going out to NJ. So I think we're gonna try another and go from there. Good for you asking for a raise! I hope they approve it.

@suzycupcake I'm a story producer too!! I usually work on NBC shows, but I'm working on a show for Discovery right now. Enjoy your time off, I haven not had a break in aaaaaages. I keep hoping I'll have a week gap between shows and it just hasn't happened that way (though, I suppose that's lucky too!)
@lurvleybunchococonuts All your crafts sound awesome, especially the cross stitching! How cool!
@maureenmce and @suzycupcake - you guys are reality TV story producers???? TELL ME MORE I love reality TV!!!!!! Can you divulge anything juicy? Not to make you talk shop or anything... I just got excited that is so cool. I'm just a boring higher ed/student affairs administrator.
@maureenmce bravo, cmt, and vh1 here. Some oxygen, tlc, and mtv in there. Yea omg I needed this break. I didn't get a vacation last year. I mean I went on one, but it certainly didn't feel like one because of certain things sooooo.....
@meri-mac It's so much fun and not difficult to get into at all. You don't need a college degree if you're super passionate about learning and force yourself to self discipline enough to teach yourself too. It's really about being easy to get along with and working really really hard.
Haha @wishiwaspreggo No I cannot divulge anything juicy. However, I will say that MH and I had a blast doing drone shots and broll for seven year switch a few weekends ago.
@cate03 Hi! I have a friend like that. She even puts everyone's trips and periods into her calendar, and remembers most everything we say lol I wish my brain was that good!

@wishiwaspreggo Like @suzycupcake I can't divulge anything super interesting (we sign confidentiality agreements) but yeah, it's a pretty fun job and I've been lucky enough to work on some cool shows! I usually work in post production (which means the editors and I work together to put episodes together after everything has been filmed.) It's usually more low key than working in the field (on set) but I like it more than being in the field. (@suzycupcake - which do you prefer???)
Anyway, the nice thing about the job is that it's freelance, so every few months I'm on a different show. That means a lot of variety, and even if a job sucks (like my last one did, schedule wise) it's done pretty quickly.
@maureenmce I love field work when MH and I are working together lol or when there is a really great team. He's an Editor but sometimes we go out and do drone and broll for the prod co he works for. We have our own drones and cams because we incorporated to make our own content soon. Otherwise, I'm with you re: post. I think you'll agree with this, that being a producer is hard work no matter which side of the aisle, but what I like most about post is that I can sit and ocd in my bay/cubicle all day. Not having to deal with talent is always a plus!
Yes to the in and out dates. I'm gonna stay at home through this cycle to focus on treatment and house wifing.

I went to Michaels they said it would be $200-300!!!!!!!! Now I have to wait until a coupon comes up. The print was 100$ I seriously can't believe the frame is going to cost me 3 times more.

R/R: Rant: People may not agree with me, but I don't want to be benched.

@Whitmore1027 It is because of dating purposes. Cycles after CPs are strange. I o'd 6 days later than I usually do the first time, and 8 days later the 2nd time. Just prepare yourself for a wonky cycle. I have also read some women O early. So use your OPKs and monitor your CM, because it could come at any time!

@Kath525 Sorry about CD1.
@meri-mac Ugh, foggy and out of it at work is the worst. I was feeling that way yesterday and it makes the days so long! Hope you feel better soon.
@dragonette505 Good luck deciding what to do IVF wise!

@spylon great news about the new job for your DH!

@Spylon - congrats on your H's new job!!! Sounds like he'll have better hours now, huh?
@dragonette505 - that is a tough choice to make... good luck, whatever you decide!
@Whitmore1027 - Like others said, if it's not for medical reasons do what makes you most comfortable. I'd probably do the same thing, too.

R/R: I asked for a 5% raise today... Injections start tonight

Thanks! I have some OPKs from last cycle, but I'll have to buy more. lol
@galactickates Yeah I am kind of thinking that I might as well try because, it probably won't work anyway...but I try not to have those negative thoughts...
@suzycupcake GIRL YOU SO SWEET!
@wishiwaspreggo Thank you!! Yay for asking for a raise! That's awesome! I don't think I have ever done that, and I think I would be too scared. lol
@cate03 Thank you! I will definitely do that! I am interested to see what happens honestly. Haha.

@lurvleybunchococonuts All your crafts sound awesome, especially the cross stitching! How cool!

Anyway, the nice thing about the job is that it's freelance, so every few months I'm on a different show. That means a lot of variety, and even if a job sucks (like my last one did, schedule wise) it's done pretty quickly.
Yes to the in and out dates. I'm gonna stay at home through this cycle to focus on treatment and house wifing.
