WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, CP, OPK, PN R/R: Rave: I did like...5 loads of laundry yesterday, and it feels good. Haha! Another rave, we were kind of behind in some rent, and I was finally able to pay that this morning since we got paid, so that bit of weight on my shoulders feel better. Oh! And this isn't really a rave or a rant..maybe a rant, but on Tuesday night, a car flipped outside our house. (kid is okay, he got out and just had a banged up mouth) He ran into our neighbors jeep that was parked on the side of the road (most of the car was in the grass, so it totally wasn't their fault). The kid must have caught the jeep perfect, and drove up the jeep and flipped. It pushed the jeep into our mailbox and therefore...we have no mailbox now, it was demolished (made of brick). We had to go get the post office to hold our mail, and now we are waiting for our landlord to clean it up and put up a new box. I hate having to go to the post office to get our mail. And we live in a tiny town, and they have weird hours. They actually close for an hour and a half for lunch. Photo in spoiler if you are interested.
CS/Q: It's boring, but here it is. I thought it was cool that my temp has been pretty much the same the last few days. Usually it looks like mountains.
GTKY: If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, living or dead, who would they be? J.R.R Tolkien, Jason Mamoa, Jennifer Lawrence, and Dave Ramsey. This would be a weird gathering.
@Whitmore1027 No, I've never had an HSG done before. I'm scared! Yay for getting some bills paid. I always say, adulting is not fun! I hope your mailbox gets fixed soon. Wow, I'm glad that kid was okay! So scary! I'm with you on JLaw. I just love her! She's so funny!!
@meladams10 I have had an HSG done, and it's not too bad! You will fill just a bit of cramping during it, and it will cramp the whole time the dye is going through your uterus and tubes. Take some pain meds about 30 minutes before the procedure, and that should help! I was nervous too, so I totally get it! Adulting is SO not fun. I just went through all my bills I need to pay today, and we will get back down to only $100. <cries> It's okay though, we have another check coming through on Monday (hopefully), and I start my part time job soon. Boy we are BROKE BROKE BROKE!! And yes, that poor kid! He was in shock, shaking like crazy! He was worried about the car, and I was like "DUDE, you are alive and well. It's just a car! All that matters is that you are okay!"
@meladams10 - I've had the HSG done. Don't Google it before you go. Too many horror stories on the internet and I freaked myself out. For most people it will be a little uncomfortable but you don't want to go into it expecting a nightmare! I worked myself up so much that I made it way worse in my head than it actually was. Just take a couple Tylenol an hour before and you should be okay @Whitmore1027 - Oh my gosh, what a mess!!! That's crazy! How fast was the kid going down the road? Hopefully you get your mailbox up soon. I can imagine it's a pain having to go to the post office every day.

R/R: My coloring book came in the mail It's fabulous. I'm putting a picture of my favorite page in the spoiler.
I laughed because I turned 35 last year and my RE was quick to remind me that due to my age and previous experiences I'd be bumped right to the "high risk" category if I do get KTFU. And fun fact: I'll be 36 by the time I'm able to start IVF so... whee. But this image is fairly humorous and that helps take the sting away.
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: Oh man, this is a hard one... Ben Folds, Margaret Cho, Sarah Paulson, and Jon Stewart. I think we'd have a raging good time together. I would honestly just like to sit and listen to what they all had to say. Maybe beg Ben to sing and play a couple songs on the piano.
@Whitmore1027 Oh good! I'm glad to hear it wasn't too bad for you. Everything I look up on the internet makes it sound pretty terrifying. I typically have medium cramps anyway so I hope I handle it well. I'm definitely going to ask for something to ease my anxiety and pain! I suppose it's worth it all since it will likely provide answers. I've read it can help with conception, I hope that's true! Money is so stressful!! I'm glad your PT job starts soon, that will help a lot I'm sure! Can't we just hit the lottery?!
@wishiwaspreggo Yay! Another HSG non horror story! You're right, the stuff on the internet is terrifying! What a fun coloring book! HAHA! I love it! Okay Sarah Paulson... I love her! I love American Horror Story! I think my favorite seasons were Asylum and Murder House!
@wishiwaspreggo From where the car is, which is right near the jeep, I don't think he was going fast at all. There is no skid marks and we didn't hear anything until the car flipped. I feel like if he was going fast, his car would have been further down the street, or in the ditch. Our street is VERY dark, there are no lights at all, and the jeep is a dark green so it was probably hard to see. If I could guess, he may have been on his phone and was just too close to the edge of the street. OMG that coloring book is the best!!! Hahaha!!
@meladams10 Yay another AHS fan!!!!! I thought I was alone in the world I love the show and I especially love Sarah Paulson. She always plays my favorite characters. And she's just a funny person when she's not acting, like in interviews and such. I imagine she'd be a lot of fun to hang out with. I've seen Jon Stewart and Margaret Cho perform comedy and I nearly passed out from laughing so hard. They're hysterical. And I just love Ben Folds' music. He's a classically trained pianist and his song-writing is amazing. Some of his songs make me laugh and others make me cry. I'd love to get to know him.
meladams10 glad you are getting the SA and HSG out of the way! fantasyflyte NOOOOOOOOOOO jury duty is soooo boring!! In my town they take away all your electronics (even your apple watch!) Barack and Michelle I would make an exception for (I didn't list any famous ppl lol) But I better meet them at the same time... I respect Michelle too much and it would be hard not to moon over Barry if she wasn't there :P Whitmore1027 OMG! So glad nobody (except the mailbox) was hurt... sometimes it amazes me that any teenagers (including me back in the day and everyone I knew) ever survive to adulthood! wishiwaspreggo I am DYING laughing over that pic! @dragonette505 wow, at least mine doesn't take everything away! That would have made waiting around even more boring. I was looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow too until I remembered that I scheduled bloodwork early.
@rosebud332 I miss warm sun. It's been cold and dreary here.
@eleven_ OMG I probably would have crashed my car!
@Kath525 sorry about your sister and eczema. The cake sounds fun, is it a class/occasion or just for fun?
@catlady2015 Friday is the best day to wrap up projects, then you're free over the weekend to relax!
@coco2787 ugh, sorry about CD1 and interrupted sleep. Yay for upcoming break though!
@meri-mac sorry for the unsettled work atmosphere. I hope your long weekend is fun!
I've decided that today is going to be a good day - I got excused pretty early from my jury duty, and this morning's OPK finally started to show a light line!

R/R:. I got a migraine last night and am really cramping this morning. I would almost think I am about to ovulate. Rave, Friday is my day off, so lots of errands, it I also went shopping for myself this morning!
CS/Q: I can probably find my own answer and will probably look, but I have seen others say they keep opks to watch progression, so does that mean they are generally accurate after testing time limit?
GTKY: If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, living or dead, who would they be? My brother, Harrison Ford, Theodore Roosevelt, and king David
@meladams10 , FX for good results with your tests! @eleven_ yay for getting your hair done. I hate physically getting it done, but love how I feel after.
@meri-mac, nerd weekend sounds have, have a good time!
@eleven_ Thank you! I just got an e-mail message saying it was normal.. not whether it was low, avg, or high! @holly321 Thank you! I'm glad you got to go shopping! Did you get anything nice? I take a picture of my OPK strips to compare which has been so helpful! The instructions say not to read them after a certain period of time!
meri-mac OOO I love your picks too! Whenever I think of Rickman its as Snape telling Dumbledore his Patronus was still the same waaaaaaaaaaaa.... always gets me! Stargazer1lily Ugh...sux the road was blocked! holly321 The test should be looked at in the time limit (and I don't think ive ever noticed an OPK get darker after the time limit)... keeping them is really just for an reference. Did your test get darker?
@meladams10 - I'm not the right person... I don't have many friends with kids but I unfortunately just suck it up when it does happen. I'm really lucky that my few friends with kids are super sensitive to what I'm going through. Have you shared at all about what you're going through? I think some people just need that communication. I bet she has no clue she is hurting you. I think most people take what you say at face value. I bet she could be a good support system if she did know. You might find their is more to her story. You never know?

@dragonette505 Good idea with your GTKY. That would be so interesting!
@rosebud332 So jealous that your CD matches the day. I’m always hoping that will happen for me!

My best friend that passed away when we were 21. My husband because I would want him to meet her. Ryan Gosling because it would irritate H and he would probably say "of course you would invite him" and Joe Rogan. I really love his podcast.
@eleven_ lol that was @wishiwaspreggo
@eleven_ Yay for a hair appt!! I love them lol. I'm waiting on a call from my nurse with my progesterone test results so I may mention to her when she calls? I was super sad because I missed my early O
@Kath525 UGH! So sorry you have to endure that torture

Whitmore1027 wait, who picked Jason Momoa?!? If yall are bringing HIM into this then this is going to be like one of those Bachelor evenings when the girls cut in: Sorry to interrupt you, but can I have a minute?? LOLOL
Kath525 UGH I'm sure that text was hard.... I had a similar thing this past autumn and its tough
catlady2015 Hope you can put that project to bed today! I hate having things hanging over my head at work...
coco2787 ugh... that cramping should slow down soon

@wishiwaspreggo that page is awesome, I love it!
@galactickates I'm glad today's better than yesterday!
@meri-mac sorry for the unsettled work atmosphere. I hope your long weekend is fun!
I've decided that today is going to be a good day - I got excused pretty early from my jury duty, and this morning's OPK finally started to show a light line!

WAYDTGKU: last cycle benched, so just temping and Opks to see if I ovulate naturally
@coco2787, I hope you enjoy your week off!
@holly321 Thank you! I'm glad you got to go shopping! Did you get anything nice? I take a picture of my OPK strips to compare which has been so helpful! The instructions say not to read them after a certain period of time!
Stargazer1lily Ugh...sux the road was blocked!
holly321 The test should be looked at in the time limit (and I don't think ive ever noticed an OPK get darker after the time limit)... keeping them is really just for an reference. Did your test get darker?
wait... you mean just now??? OMG! But you've read them, right?
