Re: Last Week of June DD Check-In (March)
Baby is moving a lot! Still mostly jerky movements and I can't quite figure out which parts of her are what yet. But sometimes it does feel like she's basically sticking her butt out because one side of my belly will get firmer and stick out a bit, haha.
Glucose test is at the end of this month after my 27 week appt. I know I shouldn't be nervous but I am!
I'm starting to feel stressed that we have basically nothing for the baby yet but I also don't want to buy anything until after my baby shower next month. We aren't painting the nursery so other than getting the furniture and decor there isn't a ton to do there but I guess I just feel like I should do *something*? I think this weekend we plan to replace the old blinds with a room darkening shade and clean out the closet in that room. Maybe this is the beginning stages of nesting...

I've been having more aches and pains and random bouts of heartburn. BUT my nausea has gone away for the most part so that's a plus.
This baby moves all the time, and so much more compared to my first! I love it but when she kicks my cervix I want to scream.
I just had my 24 weeks appointment and my glucose test will be at my 28 week appointment. I had no trouble passing last time so fingers crossed I don't this time either!
Under a lot of stress right now, and I think that's making my MS start to come back. Been nauseous for the past couple of mornings, and then this morning I finally threw up from it. That's great to re-develop.
Went through a couple of weeks where he wasn't in a good position to feel him move around, but he's flipped again and I'm feeling him non-stop this week. Happy about that.
Glucose test is set for the day of my 28 week appt/next month.

@lrichhx05 I am cringing over here about the cervix kicking, but so fun that she's checking in regularly.
@izza2 I'm glad for the movement you're feeling and sorry about the nausea. Hope this period of extra stress is short-lived and the MS leaves with it.
We just hit 24 weeks and are doing well. I feel the baby a little every day, but with an anterior placenta it's fairly muted. Like others have said, I have no idea what position he's in or what body part I'm feeling, but I sure do like having him make his presence known! My 23 week appt was last week and when my OB went for the heartbeat you could hear the "whoosh" of his little arms and legs moving around. Pretty great stuff. Our glucose test will be at our 27 week appointment at the very end of this month.
We're one-on, one-off with visitors from now until mid-May, but this weekend is blessedly a blank one. I'm naturally pretty introverted, and without booze and given my general physical discomfort it's hard to have folks around 24/7, even those I love the most. I think I'm going to start pulling the pregnancy card and insisting on Saturday afternoon naps just to carve out a little personal space...
@izza2, I’m sorry you are under a lot of stress. I hope things start to get better.
Baby boy gave me a pretty good scare on Tuesday with some cramping and possible fluid leak. Luckily everything is ok and hopefully won’t go through that again.
His movements have increased so much in the last few days which is awesome. I like the reassurance.
I currently have 95 days until my RCS and I can’t believe how fast everything is going. We have a few big things we need to buy (stroller, car seat etc) but other than that, I think we are doing well.

@profmcgonagall glad everything is ok now! I love the reassurance of feeling movement too even when nothing seems "wrong". How exciting that you're under 100 days now! It's really flying by

@lrichhx05 Yes to this one moving so much more!! The cervix kicks are the worse ever. Solidarity!
@izza2 Sorry everything is so stressful. I hope everything goes well with your mom this weekend, and next week. It is so nice you are making meals for them. Hugs
@emiliadkay uh, yes to saturday afternoon naps!! Definitely pull the pregnancy card
@profmcgonagall I'm so glad everything is okay! The scares are the worse, and I feel the worrying just never ends
AFM: I'm doing okay. Hips and sciatic nerve are killing me lately. Plus we are winding down the school year, and things are slightly chaotic right now. I'm looking forward to spring break, though, and the mini vaca DH and I are taking with a bunch of friends.
Definitely feeling little guy move. He likes to party hard thats for sure. So much more than DD ever did, but with the complications I had last time, i guess that is expected. Took my glucose test Tuesday, and passed - yay!
Good news, though, my doctor is back for my next appointment! She was out on maternity leave, and it'll be so nice to have her back. I hated being bounced from person to person, and with wanting a RCS/Tubal, I felt like i was just being brushed off.

I'm finally back home and have officially begun my travel restriction. My doctor says I need to stay within a two hour drive of her/the hospital, so I'll still be able to visit most of my offices, but no more airplane rides.
@sunshineandwhiskey I'm sorry you're having hip/sciatic pain. Are you propping your leg up on anything when you sleep on your side? That helped me a lot. Enjoy your vacay!!
@profmcgonagall That sounds so scary! I'm glad everything is okay.
@emiliadkay Agree with others, use the the pregnancy card while you still can! I love nothing more than afternoon naps.
@izza2 I'm sorry you're under so much stress and feeling sick again. I hope you feel better soon.
@lrichhx05 GL with the glucose test. FX all goes well.
@elsie42 I've been using the Belli brand oil and lotion for my belly, booty, and boobs. It seems to be helping, because I haven't had too much itchiness (knock on wood!). Also, I'm with you on not having done much to prep for the babies. I've got a shower in April, so I count finishing my registries as a major accomplishment. Lol!
AFM, I'm feeling generally good. I've been dealing with shortness of breath pretty constantly. I'm also super tired, but not sure if that is from pregnancy or my travel schedule lately. I have my second glucose test this Thursday. FX all goes well. My invites for my shower went out last week. It looks like it is going to be pretty small - just 15 people. But, I think it will still be fun.
