NHIE gone scuba diving. And, unfortunately, I never will as I have a history of panic attacks. I’d love to see octopus and jelly fish and sharks in their natural environment.
@kiwi2628 I have never been to Asia, but my husband was born and raised in Taiwan, and then the Philippines (his mother was Taiwanese and his father was in the air force).
@chyvie my husband and I actually owned a tattoo shop when we were younger. a fun experience, but not something we wanted to do with our lives going forward.
Ahh I love this game too! @knottieamusements DH and I got into scuba diving for about a year because he really wanted to, and it was okay, but I had a mini panic attack every time we got into the water. I would literally have to talk my anxiety down (this was pre-medication for me) every time before we went under. When that movie 47 Meters Down came out, the sharks didn't scare me at all, but the potential of them running out of air to breathe was giving me intense anxiety the entire movie haha. I'm so glad DH lost interest in diving!!
Sorry got sidetracked. Here's mine. NHIE been to Mexico.
To be fair, I was meeting people there for school, but I traveled to and from England alone. Standing at a bus stop in a foreign country/city at 6am to catch the bus to the airport at 21 is a little daunting.
@sammierose464 My brother loves to travel alone and has since he was young. I think it's incredibly brave to do! I admire those who do, but I'm too chicken shit.
@sammierose464 and @stithof I started travelling to Ireland to visit my grandparents every year for my entire summer vacation when I was 8 years old. They would escort me on and off the plane to ensure I got to my guardian. I think it is what made me catch the travel bug! After I graduated collage I also traveled by myself (but on a Contiki bus tour) across Europe for 6 weeks. Then continued travelling every year after that, but with my (now) husband! It is quite an adventure travelling on your own, and you really can find yourself!

@knottieamusements DH and I both got our diving licenses (over the course of 2 Mexico trips) and it is the most amazing thing ever! I was petrified because tbh water scares me a bit even tho I can swim just fine. First time down was scary as hell the first 2 min but after that I was hooked!!
I learned to ride and bought my own bike last summer. I'm so eager for the weather to get nice so that I can get as much riding as possible in before it's uncomfortable.
