WAYDTGKU: OPK, temping, charting, PNV, B Complex
R/R: going to call this week to start examining infertility testing. This is our sixth month of trying and I'm geriatric so think getting a consult scheduled would be a good idea. I'm sure nothing would happen until we're at least in month 7, but then I have an appointment.
CS/Q:
GTKY: If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose? omg, @eleven_ this is one of the hardest questions on the planet! I think I would have to give up smell. Can't give up eyes, or ears, or touch. that leaves taste and smell. I love food too much to give up taste, so even though I know taste will be compromised w/o smell, i think it'd be the easiest to adapt to not having.
Married: 2016
BFP #1 4/23/18, blighted ovum 5/29/18
BFP#2 7/14/18, DS 4/5/19
WAYDTGKU: sex is off the menu! I'm starting pref for April FET.
R/R: Rave, I had my saline sono and according to my doc, my ute is all:
CS/Q:
GTKY: If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose? OMG this one is hard... I would say smell, but that affects taste and I don't want to lose that... If I say touch will I just not be able to feel other people, but would I feel them feeling me? (because then sex would be ruined)... I'm just not sure I can pick one!! lol

WAYDTGKU: pnv, BD, OPKs, charting
R/R: Rant - we're supposed to get up to a foot and a half of snow today.
Rave - at least I get to work from home today and DH is also off so we get to actually spend some time together.
CS/Q: none
GTKY: If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose? I think I'd give up smell. Vision would definitely be last on the list because I love/do way too many visual things; I like music too much to give up hearing; I'd still be able to taste some and I feel like giving up touch would make you feel so isolated.
lol! True! Its a choice I'm not prepared to make!!

WAYDTGKU: Gonal-F, Ovidrel, IUI, Endometrin, Myo-Inositol, NAC, PNV
R/R: Started my Gonal-F last night! I was so nervous getting my pen ready. I haven't given myself a shot in years. But it went in and all is good. I have my first monitoring ultrasound and blood work on Sunday. I ordered some cycle treats on Amazon including some exfoliating face scrub, castor oil pack, pregnancy tests, and an IVF coloring book. It has pages related to IUI and general RE nonsense so I figured I could color those and then save the rest if I have to move on to IVF. Win-win either way.
CS/Q: Nothing yet!
GTKY: I'd give up taste. I'm fat so I'd probably lose a good amount of weight if I couldn't taste my food anymore! I eat way less when I have a cold and can't detect flavor so I could cut that one and be totally happy. But I need the rest of my senses. I like to smell things like flowers, perfumes, and candles. Obviously touch, sight, and hearing are extremely important so... yeah.
@dragonette505 - Love the gif because it's Prince in a uterus though the joke flew over my head! I'm assuming it's a good thing since you put "rave"?

@wishiwaspreggo Great job giving yourself that shot! That always seems like it would be really hard to do. Are your ivf coloring books informative? Are you coloring uteruses? Haha

R/R: My rave is my mil came over yesterday and we had the best visit we've had in a while. She got in a fight with mh a few weeks ago and things have been so awkward since then. But we bonded over the bachelor.
CS/Q:
GTKY: If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose?
I think I'm with most people and will say smell. Everything else is just too hard to give up.
wishiwaspreggo Yay for starting IUI! Its so good to have distractions during a medicated cycle! It just means my Ute is FAB! I was so worried my surgery might not have been a success!
catlady2015 Yup! Sometimes its really a simple reason why its taking longer
rosebud332 I'm so glad you had a good hang out with MIL. I was just happy to find out I didn't need another surgery.... My uterus is fabulous!

R/R: rant: no sleep last night from this eczema nastiness. Emailed my dermatologist this morning. Early awaiting his response. Rave: AF has been kind to me this month! The lat few months had been really rough but this month I barely notice it. I'm hopeful that means good things for this cycle for some reason.
CS/Q:
GTKY: If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose
Today I'm going to say touch. Because i have this terrible eczema and if love to not feel the itchiness! (although normally I'd say taste)

CS/Q: -
GTKY: If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose? Sight. I have crappy eyes already and I could not give up the others as I love food and hearing laughter, music, etc. I could not give up touch either. I'm too touchy feely
@catlady2015 Fx for your testing. Sending lots of love
@dragonette505 Congrats! I love the gif
@fantasyflyte Enjoy working from home. We are getting snow tonight and I am hoping it will mean a snow day for me tomorrow!
@wishiwaspreggo I'm glad everything went well! I wonder what the oddest thing ordered from Amazon is...
@rosebud332 Happy to hear everything is good with MIL.
@Kath525 I used to have really bad eczema as well. I feel your pain and hope your dermatologist can do something for you. At least AF backed off!

R/R: Nothing to rant or rave about today.
CS/Q:nope
GTKY: If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose? Smell I guess
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPKs, CBAD, CM, CP, BBT, Ava, Vit D3, DHEA, tumeric (In FP), selenium, zinc, iron, vit b complex, CoQ10, baby aspirin, acupuncture, morning juice routine, Progesterone in LP - and this month we get to HIO too! And in the background waiting for the next set of results to know when we can push on with IVF#4-6.
R/R: On Monday I slipped on some ice and hit my shin on a concrete step - it hurt at the time but I got on with it and there was not much to see Monday night. The flights and all the walking yesterday do not seem to have helped. It was pretty sore and swollen last night. Today it’s worse, still swollen despite resting all day and there seems to be a huge deep bruise covering pretty much my whole lower leg. Luckily I have two doctors appointments tomorrow, so will be flashing my leg at them both. And the acupuncturist.
CS/Q: CM is starting to get more watery but CBAD still says low and OPKs still negative. I hope this won’t be another wonky cycle. Wonky cycles make me nervous about both egg quantity and quality deterioration...
GTKY: If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose?
Ooooh that’s a really hard question.
@rosebud332 MILs are not easy. My DH has a somewhat tricky relationship with his mother. Good that you had a better visit yesterday.
@wishiwaspreggo I have a few coloring books that I received as gifts but never started them
@fantasyflyte yay for a snow day with your DH!
@dragonette505 so you decided to go with the Lupron?
@catlady2015 I fully support now you hit the sixth month that you call and schedule initial testing with you being AMA. Depending where you go (and how lucky you are that they just had a cancellation) it can be quite a wait, and even if you get in for BW etc fast, waiting for a consult with all the results can also be a wait. Though most ladies biggest problems is how long it takes their DHs to actually go for the SA and exam lol!

CS/Q: is anyone else's mobile app being weird this morning? None of the icons are showing up.
GTKY: If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose?
I'm going with the same as everyone else - smell. If you still have taste, I can live with that.
I had to leave a message, so I'm waiting for callback. I was concerned it'd take some time to get scheduled, and at least I can try to get something scheduled. if it takes a bit longer, this is still technically month 6. DH should be pretty good, we've already talked about it and he knows he's on the hook for those if needed, and he needs to get in there. If he procrastinates, he knows i'll make him do it early on his day off. Better to take care of it on his own time ....

R/R: Wishing I could be anywhere but work today. I am having the worst cramps and just want to curl up in a blanket with a good book. I’ve never had cramps that last this long in a cycle. My temp was really high this morning.. like LP high. I’m wondering if I’m getting sick or if it was just a wonky temp. Also, @galactickates I haven’t looked at pics from Society6 in so long and kind of forgot that site existed. I now have 6 prints in my cart
CS/Q:
GTKY: If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose? Definitely smell.
@catlady2015 I think that is a good idea to get an appointment. I don’t like wondering if there is something wrong that could be an easy fix. Will your OB order the progesterone test for you?
How does a saline sonogram
feel? I have one on Friday. Also an endometrial biopsy. They say to take Motrin
beforehand so I’m a little worried.
@dragonette505 YAYAYAYAY! So happy everything looks good. That makes me so so happy for you
@fantasyflyte Sorry for the nasty weather, but that’s nice you get to work from home.
@wishiwaspreggo I love your list of cycle treats. I’m glad you are treating yourself!
@kath525 Oh no, I’m so sorry about your eczema. That sounds so miserable. Hopefully your dermatologist gets back to you soon.
@meri-mac Yay for O time!
@emmasemm I’m so sorry about your hitting your shin! I can’t believe it’s still so swollen. You must have went down hard! I hope it feels better soon.
@galactickates Yes, none of the icons are working for me either and I’m on a computer. It’s annoying

I haven't even met her yet! we moved this fall and I haven't seen anyone here yet. a bit awkward to start with this, but here we are. I'll definitely be asking if she doesn't offer, though.

emmasemm Ugh sorry about your shin! I hope its just a bad bruise that clears up quick. I have noticed since doing IVF cycles that I can have a bit of a harder time knowing when my CF is *really* FQCF... I will be like: surely this is it... I think also I have had MORE days with CF so that can be more confusing. I'm using the CBE fertility monitor (which I find to be easier than the smily blinky ones for some reason) and it has been on the money each time... And yes... I figure, what the heck... Either way I will have to use the Lupron (instead of BCP's) but the real question was if I would start it this current cycle or after O next cycle, and ive decided to go ahead this cycle.
galactickates I felt the same way after moving... like, you totally need a month or two to settle in
eleven_ UGH sorry about the cramps! I hope they calm down quickly!!! And yaaaaas I was so glad she didn't find any problems!!! The saline sono's are a little painful TBH... At the peak of the pain its like you wonder if you can hold out, but then its done! Definitely pop some pills ahead of time (I did) and you can manage it. I told my doc she needed some squeeze balls for this procedure and she said she would get some for other ladies
@catlady2015 Is your OB associated with one of the major hospital systems or is she independent? I know when I met with my midwife, who is through the Clinic, to get a referral for an RE, she didn't order anything, it all went through the RE. I'm not sure if that's protocol or what but just thought I'd throw it out there.

There is one society6 print that's small on mh's side of the bed. All the rest of everything is bare! Oh and gk, icons are gone for me too today, even on desktop.
@Kath525 ucerin eczema relief is excellent. You can find it at walmart, amazon, and all kinds of places. One of my friends, her little girl was overwhelmed with eczema. I sent her that and she said it has been a life saver.

WAYDTGKU: all the stuff
R/R: I'm not gonna be too active today. Last night, I had racing thoughts while trying to sleep. I had a crap ton of anxiety and started feeling overwhelmed. Then memories of my Dad started rushing in. I realized it was 90 days. I stayed up all night crying and listening to his voice recordings. I can't believe he is gone. I still can't believe it. He's really gone. I need to get some scrapbooking stuff. I saved a bunch of things from our journey and want to make something. I've never scrapbooked before. Can anyone who does that sort of thing point me in the right direction online and tell me what the basics are?
CS/Q: No
GTKY: If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would you choose? It would definitely be taste. I couldn't bear to not be able to see (nature, pictures of my lost loved ones, MH's face, etc.), to not be able to hear (rain, ocean waves, music, voices, etc.), to not be able to touch my loved ones or hug a random stranger who is sad, and I definitely would not be able to go without smell. It would crush me if I couldn't place my face in MH's neck and smell him.
