Infertility

New girl in town!

Hi Everyone! I'm Hilary and my DH and I have been TTC since September 2016. We officially sought treatment with a RE in June 2016 after 9 months of trying on our own. When I was 18 or so PCOS was mentioned as a possible dx for me but since I decided to begin taking BC at that age it was never anything I really thought about until I went of my BC after we got married. We went through all of the preliminary test this past summer which revealed that we are both very fertile, it's just on ovulation/timing issue for me. In November we started out first timed intercourse cycle and I was started on Letrozole with an Ovidrel trigger shot. My body didn't respond to the Letrozole so the dose was increased and voila! I had several follicles that cycle. AF returned and is very consistent (and painful!). I am now on my 2WW for our fourth timed intercourse cycle but there was something special about this cycle...I O'd on my own! We're hoping this is a positive sign and are hopeful. 2WW will be over with on 2/26/18 (FX). If this cycle does not result in a BFP we plan on moving on to IUI...

I have learned a lot from reading through the threads and just want to thank everyone for being so open and supportive to each other, I feel blessed to have found this community!

Re: New girl in town!

  • Hoping for a natural BFP for you! If not hopefully IUI will give you one! My husband and I are going through initial testing and the waiting is the worst when you just want answers And a baby of your own.  Baby dust your way!
  • @faithxtrustxpixiexdust Hey there and welcome! How did the 26th go? So were you diagnosed with pcos?
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

How I feel all of the time.
