I thought this would be fun to do as many of us have had our babies and many of us are still waiting. Even if you're on baby #5, it's so fun to google early signs of labor and wonder if every little twinge or "feeling" could be the earliest sign of labor or progression. We all know there's no way to know - you'll be in labor when you're in labor, but it's fun to wonder. So, whether it's for this baby or a past baby, share the most obvious or slight symptom that you now realize was an early sign of things getting started.
Burst of energy followed by lack of (or being wiped out from doing so much during the burst) in the same day.
Feeling like my bladder was literally being squished/like I had to pee ALL day long. I would try and go and basically go nothing at all. Super uncomfortable.
Both of these followed by contractions that got closer together and I truly could not talk/walk through them. That’s no joke.
With my first I was having contractions when I went in to be induced. For me, it was a couple days of diarrhea and back ache with mild cramping, then I felt the contractions in my thighs and slightly stronger cramping. I mostly felt contractions in my thighs and period cramps even when they were strong and nonstop.
Urge to nest and I had constant bloody show. Not to mention very uncomfortable and contractions got stronger and painful by the day. Also pooped.. a lot. Thank goodness cause I didn’t poop during birth! Lol
Don’t know if there’s any truth to this, would love all your input- but my 2.5 ds has been SUPER clingy and afraid I’m abandoning him. Mentioned this to my friend and his teacher (she was concerned cuz he started crying every day at drop off- was never an issue) and both say toddlers can sense what’s going on and The closer to labor the worse they get. It’s been going on for 3 weeks now, but I must say it’s gotten a lot worse the past couple of days.... who knows, maybe it’s a sign im gonna go early! (I won’t object )
I'm going to jump on the poop train! The diarrhea was real and unrelenting. I stopped taking my probiotics because I thought that was it. But I guess the body was making room for Trey to move on through!
@paigew123 my 2.5 y/o has been crying at drop off for what seems like months. This week she’s been even more cuddly “I wanna hold you Momma” and I’m due Friday. So far nothing ha but it is super sad!

Also, diarrhea. (Because if I don't laugh about it, I'll cry about it.)
hope all our toddlers will settle in quickly after the births!
