@doxiemoxie212 I'm pretty jealous! He always seems like he would be a down to earth person. I guess YH really got the punishment he deserved with you not only getting first class, but getting to sit next to a super hot celebrity. Karma is a thing that is real I suppose.

@krashke I tried to play it cool and he took a sleeping pill immediately upon take off and put an eye mask on. So. But he is v attractive. Very skinny legs tho lol.
@doxiemoxie212 - very good! One of the pilots I used to fly with all the time works there now and loves it! I've never flown on them but always loved the FAs red uniforms (in comparison to most potato sack-esque uniforms)
Ugh, so we're in Palm Springs now. Arrived about an hour ago. Our hotel in LA was so nice even though it wasn't very expensive. Ages ago I had booked us at the Ritz Carlton in Palm Springs as our splurge location for this trip (since the other hotels were pretty inexpensive), but about two months ago DH freaked out about spending money and wanted to switch to something less expensive. I had gotten a really good rate at the Ritz Carlton, but there were cheaper hotels with great reviews so we switched. Well, now we're here, and DH is so sad that we're not at a nicer hotel lol. I think part of it is that it is gloomy out today and the sun is setting, but he regrets having me switch. I think the hotel will be a lot more lovely tomorrow when it's sunny, but yeah, I mean, it's not a Ritz Carlton resort.
But then to make matters worse, we had scheduled massages at the spa for 5:15pm tonight, and we left LA earlier than we otherwise would have to make it here for them. I also booked dinner around the spa time. At 5pm they emailed to cancel our massages. Le sigh. That really through DH over the edge and now he hates them on principle. Blargh.
Hopefully it's warm tomorrow, otherwise he's just going to complain the whole time that he wants to go back to LA before Friday. Our trip has been so good up to this point!
