Rant: spotting this am, which is out the ordinary for me, so feeling a little down. Guess this is a super short cycle? Hate feeling like I don’t know what’s going on with my body. (Sorry for starting the thread with whining) Rave: at least it’s Thursday and there’s coffee.

R/R: It's Thursday but I'm away for work all weekend so no real break. And I registered for a course for work and my books were supposed to arrive yesterday and they haven't which is super annoying as I need to start prepping for my exam.. and i'm crazy tired and starting my day with a fight with dh.. lots of rants today, sorry ladieis! Rave... my coworker brought my a loaf of homemade bread today..mmmm!

    CS/Q: nothing to see.

Testing: Maybe tomorrow...I'll be getting blood work at the Rheumy tomorrow, and I am wondering if they would do a pregnancy test?

R/R: Rants and Raves in one: I AM 30 today!!! SO WEIRD! Feels like a normal, rainy, cold, crappy day. I was hoping H wouldn't have to go to work due to icy roads, but the ice doesn't look as bad as it was yesterday. Still makes me nervous for him, because he does a lot of driving for his job. (Stocks wine at different grocery stores around the metroplex). I have nothing planned for today. But I have plans with family Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I woke up with horrible shoulder pain. This I slept on weird. It hurts anytime I breathe...hahaha. MY BODY SAYS YOU'RE 30 AND NOW MORE PAIN FOR YOU! AND I woke up with a cold sore! WHAT is wrong with my body?! Lol. I just want to laugh and laugh. Oh! Here is a rave!! I had a phone interview with this faith-based daycare yesterday (It's SO nice, I love it!), and it went well, and I have an in person interview Monday!! **TW Child mentioning** It would be great because I can bring my DS, and I get 50% off the rate. **END TW** FX the interview goes well, and if it's meant to be, that it would happen! I also love that it's faith based. My faith has been hindering a bit the last couple years, and I think I need that more than anything.

CS/Q: SO, realllly trying not to get my hopes up that that's an implantation dip. AF isn't due until next week, but here's to hoping my temp goes back up tomorrow morning!!! My BFN yesterday makes me doubt it. :/

GTKY:  Lovely Sugar Socks That is totally my new nickname. hahaha!

@kristah2 Stay strong!! I'm thinking Saturday is my test day too. Also sorry about your fight with dh. That's the worst feeling.

@LElkCot Sorry about spotting! Like kristah said, you're not out til you're out!

Testing: I think I'll be good to wait til Saturday. Still feeling pretty strong! (Although I thought I was at 8 dpo so I was much more impressed with myself earlier this morning than I am right now). Is 9 dpo a reasonable testing day with a wondfo? I can't remember.

R/R: Going shopping with my momma today so I'm happy about that. Happy Thursday!

@LElkCot So sorry you are spotting. Hopefully it's nothing!!
@kristah2 I hope you get your books soon!! I always hated that in college when I needed my books and it took forever to get them. I like to start reading to be ahead before the class starts! I like your unicorn name! Haha.
@rosebud332 Yay for shopping!! Sounds so fun!! I haven't done that in ages! I'm interested to know if 9dpo is good for wondos too!

Thanks ladies, for whatever reason it really messed with me, trying to stay positive though. Y’all support is much appreciated!

@whitmore1027 Happy birthday lady!! And so excited for you on the job front! FX that Monday goes well!

@kristiah2 hope you’re books arrive soon - hate when things don’t show up when they’re supposed to! And sorry to hear you & h are fighting- I feel like my h and I always fight more when I’m tired...

@rosebud332 yay shopping! Love shopping dates with my mom!

@Whitmore1027 Happy birthday!!! I was so happy when I turned 30. Mh is older than me and for whatever reason I get a lot less looks now that I can say "I'm 31 and he's 44." As opposed to "I'm 29 and he's 42." Anyway I hope you have great day, and don't sweat 30! It's the new 25. :)

@LElkCot Thank you!! I am definitely excited!
@rosebud332 I really am happy to be 30. I feel more distinguished in a way!! Haha. Now people in their 20's feel SO young to me!! Haha!! And it's that weird how literally just the number of 2 years difference seem sooo different? It's like when something cost $19.99, it seems a lot less than $20.00, but it's literally the same price!!
@galactickates Thank you! 5 days yay!! Time will go fast! I can understand not wanting to use your brand new kitchen. We rent a house, and our land lord got us a new dishwasher and oven recently and I REALLY didn't want to mess up how nice and new it was. Haha!

@Whitmore1027 Happy Birthday!! Glad your apt is tomorrow!!
@rosebud332 - Saturday testing buddies? I'm leaving for a work trip super early but from what I understand there will be a couple of drinks that night so I think I'll feel better making a decision if I know. I worry it's a bit early but oh well.
@LElkCot I fight more with my H when I'm tired too. It's probably my fault but whatever. I say something simple and he blows it into this huge thing and gets nasty and I tell him he's being an asshat.. then we get over it.
@galactickates I laughed when I read your testing. You've been so strong with move-in day and now its Monday for YH's bday! Are you going to make it to Monday or are you going to pee on everything with me and @rosebud332 on Saturday?
@oaklandava sorry about the BFN :(

Have to P&G for now, will be back for more tags later!

@Whitmore1027  I know I got a preemptive one out yesterday (because I can’t keep my days straight this week), but here’s a real one: Happy Birthday!!! Welcome to your 30s!!!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    Cycle Day/DPO: 23/7 or 8

    Timing: Good

    Typical LP length: Don’t know

    Testing: Monday - my birthday!

R/R: *TW Child mentioned* DD had a follow-up appt with one of her specialists this morning and got cleared for A YEAR! Considering that she has had 3 month follow-ups with this specialty since birth, a year feels AMAZING! Another appt to go this afternoon - fingers crossed for similar news! *end TW*

CS/Q: Spotting seemed like it was gone last night, but came back again this morning. Temp spiked up again.
(I’d include my chart, but I don’t want to clog up the thread. Is there a way to do the spoilers mobile? This wasn’t a thing last time I was on here - I’ll go searching)

GTKY: Bubbles Sugar Socks. That seems like a good unicorn name to me.

@meri-mac Hugs girl. Be kind to yourself. You'll be back in tww in no time at all! <3

@LElkCot Hugs to you as well. Spotting 8dpo is not common. Please chart your temperatures and see a doctor if your luteal phase continues to be that short. You're on cycle 2 of ttgp. There's no sense in waiting the entire 12 cycles to discover there was low Progesterone that you could've simply supplemented to lengthen it. Progesterone is important to maintain the lining in the uterus to get pregnant.

@kristah2 Lurrrrrrrve awesome coworkers like that. Enjoy your bread!

@Whitmore1027 GM said you tested too early yesterday!!!!!!! He also says that birthdays almost certainly mean you're gonna be ktfu!

Being in my 30s is amaaaaaaaaazing! I suddenly don't care what people think about me anymore. The confidence and emotional control is stupendous! Freeee at last!

@galactickates I don't think I ever said this, but congratulations on your new house! What color will you paint your bedroom and how will you decorate it? Maybe you already did this. Lol you ladies are so bad with poas early! OK confession though: I did poas after my Ovidrel injection because I wanted so badly to see what a + looks like in person. Obviously, it wasn't real, but it was nice to pretend for a moment.

How'd it go with YH last night?

@oaklandava Short short answers = sadness. Huge hugs to you on this day. Don't worry. You'll be back in tww again soon gearing up for the next roller coaster ride. I'll be following you and keeping my fx!

@wrensnest What do you mean clog up the thread? Post the darned thing so we can all stalk! Lol!

    Timing: Good

Typical LP length: 14, 16 last two IUIs

R/R: So my P test came back as 14.1 RE agreed it was a bit low for a medicated cycle. She says she likes to see it over 15 so I go to pick up suppositories tonight. She said they typically like to start 3dpiui, but that it would be OK to take it now too. I don't get why her ass didn't think of this s@#! before! Smh

    CS/Q: Nope.

    GTKY: Sassy Yellow Banana

We did that with our bedroom to make a grey and white look. It has been two years and I cannot decide what to decorate the walls with or anything else in that room. The more time passes, I'm not sure if I like the grey and white look on our bed. I really like grey, but wish we had chosen a warmer color. I guess that's the beauty of owning your own home. You can change it any time you want, right?

@suzycupcake I'm planning on getting white curtains for my office/guest bedroom.  We got a light blue/green day bed. Also I have these 24 inch vases from my wedding and more silk flowers then I can count.  I was thinking of doing rows of my vases with the flowers - sort of like my own personal Michaels flower display.  It's going to be my craft room.  Plus I have tons of art - some hand painted or I thought about printing pictures that my H and I have taken and getting them framed to bring color to the walls.  We haven't closed yet - that will be the 27th and we move in on the 2nd. It will probably take me awhile to officially figure it out though.  We have no shortage of decorations though.  We needed a freaking semi for all of the stuff we had in our 1,400 sq ft house!!!! A semi!  If we weren't so ocd and organized  you'd think we were hoarders

OH so THAT's what was in the spoiler I missed above. @galactickates Do you have plans to do anything with the kitchen? Our issue is that ours is a long kitchen. That means more cabinet space, but it's all white cabinets, white walls and grey counter tops. It took us two years to finally decide that we want white tiled backsplash, which spoiled MH's dreams of bright, colorful tiling. He is a bright color crazy! I am an earth toned girl. We decided on white to make it easier to resell when we want to.

I could talk about this stuff all day long since it has been my life for the past two years besides work lol
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

How I feel all of the time.

@suzycupcake I'm not really sure yet.  I'll definitely put my white kitchen aid mixer on the counter,  maybe a colorful cookbook,  I have white toaster and silver toaster oven.  I'll probably leave decorations off the counter except maybe a porcelain vase with some flowers in it.  Maybe stick a green onion in a glass of water by the window.  I am not sure if we'll do any above cabinet decorations. I'll probably keep my kitchen simple since we have that pretty back splash and sparkly quartz counter top.  It's also a great room so I have to figure out mantel decor and we have an entertainment center I have to fill decor in. Squeeeee I'm getting so excited just thinking about getting settled in.

Eta - Do you ever get on pinterest? It's where I find all my inspiration

@galactickates OMG, I have major kitchen envy. That is gorgeous!

@LElkCot Solidarity, from one mid-cycle spotter to another, fingers crossed we both get our stuff figured out!

And sooo many fingers crossed for Josie.  :)

So, y’all, I couldn’t figure out how to do spoilers. So no fancy spoilers for you.  :p
Note: my ability to temp before getting up has been really hit or miss (unfortunately days 15 and 16 were two of those days, hence temps not lining up with other symptoms).

@suzycupcake thank you!!! I've had a really rough few weeks at work and looks like next four months will be hell until the school year is over. Going tomorrow to get my anxiety meds adjusted.

Newbie here! Still trying to figure out all the ettiquite on the boards, but figured I would try a post and a question:

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    Cycle Day/DPO: 22/2?

Timing: not sure since OPK tests confused me a little but I think -1 and +1

    Typical LP length: not sure

    Testing: 3/1

    R/R:
CS/Q:  I had a positive OPK (or at least I think I did) at CD 19 and then an even stronger one on CD 20, have taken 2 more since then and they still are darker or as dark as the control line...this did not happen with my first so I'm not sure what it means!!

    GTKY: Merry Blue Berry

    Thanks!

@galactickates Your kitchen is lovely! Congrats on the new house! And love the gray - I’ve been wanting to paint my bedroom gray since we moved in!

@wrensnest hopefully your spotting leads to different results, looks like af is just super early this month. And congrats on that specialist appointment going so well! Such a relief!

@suzycupcake thank you, definitely planning to temp this cycle and will talk to my doc if things don’t get back to normal. Apparently this month decided to be super short, which is not normal for me.
