@stothi Add me to the bad sinus headache club! Praying I don’t need the antibiotics. I’m giving it til Wednesday. DS is nearly 11 months so I can’t get away without making dinner every night. He’s still finger feeding and so my creativity for coming up with a variety of softer finger foods is waning. I’m pretty sure I’m single handedly keeping the Gerber premade food industry alive. I feel awful but some nights it’s a life saver. That being said, he did get real spaghetti and meatballs tonight, so there’s that!
@Wishilivedinflorida Chef Gerber has provided my toddler with many a meal. Many, many, a meal. I do cook the vast majority of the time but it's nice to have that shelf of premade stuff ready to go for the nights or days (or first 3-4 months of pregnancy) when you need a little help.
I hope your headache/sinus issues clear up! I'm 3 days into my antibiotics and hoping, hoping, hoping so freaking much that they start kicking this infection's butt sooner rather than later. Cause ow.
@Patience7150 today when I was counting down the minutes to when I could take more Tylenol I got angry/sad that I was so desperate to take my next dose of weak ass worthless Tylenol. I feel resentment towards Tylenol.
Hey ladies! I haven't been active here in about a month because 1st tri is kicking my butt and I have a bad association with nausea and TB from past pregnancies. I just can't think about going on TB when I'm nauseated. Ugh! Luckily I haven't puked in a few days so hopefully I'll be around more. I do want to hang out with you guys! Anyway, we'll probably be team green again this time. We found out for both of our girls but then we were team green with our 3rd baby just to stick it to everyone who needed us to have a boy. It was my way of saying "I don't care if it's a boy or girl. In fact, I sooooo don't care that I won't find out." Then it was really awesome to get a boy but that was not the goal of the pregnancy. I liked finding out at 20 weeks and I liked finding out at the birth. We'll probably wait this time because I just don't care to know the sex of the baby! We have been spoiled to have two healthy girls and one healthy boy, what more could we possibly want?

I was in the same boat last week waiting for Tylenol to kick in and counting down how long it was until I could have more. It truly just isn't the same as ibuprofen.
@stothi I also really hope your antibiotics kick in today too, and if they don't and you're not improving at all, I'd give your doctor a call back since they might need to switch it.
@stothi I have a deed deep resentment of Tylenol. I bet it's something all migraine sufferers have, especially those who have experienced pregnancy.
Thought I was developing a sinus infection the other day, everytime I layed down I had not 1 but 3 separate headaches. I was miserable and livid with life. Luckily everything cleared up yesterday.
All of you who can't be team green are making me feel better. And it does make sense, it's obviously a surprise no matter when we find out and can only be 1 of 2 things so is it that much of a surprise? DH and I talked yesterday and I'm hoping he sees my perspective. He actually wasn't sure he even wanted kids because Niece was such a complicated toddler so he can't fault me for feeling worried about having a girl.
DH is adamantly team green.... I might try to peek during the anatomy scan to try and secretly find out. It was fun being team green last time but I also like to know everything.
@prpl11butterfly I am sure DH will see your perspective too. You have a rational reason for being concerned about a girl. Just remember, if it is a girl, they are not all absolutely wild. Maybe you would have a complete angel.
@prpl11butterfly def not team green over here! I like to draw out all the surprises, it’s a nice halfway through boost, rather than all at once. Plus, there was enough crazy going on at birth, having something known was helpful for me.

I agree with this completely having done both ways! The first half of pregnancy can really suck so having a boost halfway through is nice. Yes, finding out at the birth is an amazing experience, but the birth is amazing anyway. I needed the boost halfway through! My H has always preferred team green though so it was nice to do it for him last time after he found out the first two. Now that we’ve done it once, it seems easier to do.

And I agree with all of y'all that it is fun to get the boost and surprise of finding out midway through. I really enjoyed knowing with DD.
