What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? 4 day work week woohoo!  I had a really bad day Saturday with my HG, but yesterday and so far today has been better.  Rant- We had to explain to MIL for the billionth time why we are putting the baby in daycare.  Rave- Looking forward to the long weekend and working on the baby's room.

  • @mileswithmyles Again? Does MIL not get it or just wants to make it clear she doesn’t agree?

  • How far along are you? When is your due date? What's the size of your LO? 29 weeks tomorrow

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? I’ve been crashing hard in the afternoons, just wiped out, but then again i just found out that I’m hypothyroid again for the first time in 5 years.

    Any upcoming appointments? No

GTKY: Has anyone ever told you that you look like a celebrity and who?
    Melissa Rycroft from the Bachelor

Alternate or bonus GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
This is really stupid, but it irks me when DH or my ILs drive my car and turn the automatic lights off. They all drive the same brand of car and they all have automatic lights yet they still turn them off. That’s fine for their car but NO TOUCHY MY LIGHTYS. Whew. Feels good to get that off my chest.
  • @MissusTexas It's just my frustration carrying over from the weekend.  That would make me crazy about the lights, too.  I don't like when people move my proverbial cheese.  I am a creature of habit!
  • @ivyvines6 I hate when people vaguebook!
  • How far along are you? When is your due date? What's the size of your LO? 28+6, eggplant, almost an acorn squash.  May 2

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? I took a few days vacation so I am in the middle of 6 days off!  I painted the nursery yesterday and man am I sore!  Just a reminder of how out of shape I am.  Haha.  We stocked up on groceries yesterday and we’re going to work on prepping 15 frozen meals for when baby comes.

Any upcoming appointments?  I had to repeat my 1 hour glucose tolerance test, not because I failed, but because the lab effed up and missed a test off my requisition.  My next follow up with the maternity clinic is feb 22.

GTKY: Has anyone ever told you that you look like a celebrity and who? nobody

Alternate or bonus GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves?  Loud chewing.  My husband is the worst

28+3, May 5. Coconut per Ovia? Sounds odd to me since coconuts in the grocer are kind of small.

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
For some reason exhaustion is creeping back to me. I just want to take a nap in the afternoon but I know with work that's impossible.

    Any upcoming appointments?
My next one is next Friday for 30w. Seems like ages away!

GTKY: Has anyone ever told you that you look like a celebrity and who?
Nope! Maybe I look super ordinary.

Alternate or bonus GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
Anything traffic related. Slow drivers in the passing lane, people who jut in right in front of me, just everything about traffic!

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
Exhausted. Overwhelmed. Thus lacking in bump communication. Sorry.

    Any upcoming appointments?
just had my regular checkup with my doctor. All is good. Baby is mostly in a head down position but slightly diagonal which explains why I'm getting kicked so high lol

GTKY: Has anyone ever told you that you look like a celebrity and who?
yes, Anne Hathaway and I'll take it, she's lovely

Alternate or bonus GTKY: What is one of your biggest pet peeves?
When people use words that are not really words. Ex: Irregardless or highth.
  • @mileswithmyles I’ve been missing your mil stories ;)

@MissusTexas I’m with you on the afternoon naps!  I’m not hypothyroid though. Do you get to take meds to manage it?

@ivyvines6 the hormones are making me cry too!  I’m all sappy over the olympics right now.

@helloworld9 slow drivers in the passing lane are the worst.  Move over!

@onesmallcoconut Anne Hathaway is lovely :) I love when people axe questions, say they are fustrated, or say I seen something.

    @squashandlaces
    Yep all those "words" too

  • @squashandlaces yes, I started meds for it this week but haven’t noticed a difference in energy. I think I’d be exhausted no matter what!
  • Totally random question, but does anyone else get really worried if they haven't felt the baby move all day? Or the movement is reduced/decreased than usual? I'm at 29w tomorrow and this happened to me this week. I called my OB's clinic off hours today and they told me to just go to ER. Luckily, an hour after that call I felt something, but I really hesitated going to the ER waiting room exposing myself with a bunch of germs and sick people. Am I crazy? Then I read online that you should just go straight to L&D instead. I think I would do that next time I have a scare.

  • @helloworld9 I take kick counts when I feel like the baby has been less active than usual. 10 kicks in 2 hours is considered normal.
  • @helloworld9 this was me last week!  Baby had a slow 24 hours and I was concerned.  I work at a hospital and I was super tempted to drop in at L&D to get checked out, they deal with worried moms every day.  Instead I chugged some ice water and ate some chocolate and to try to stimulate her and it worked.  She perked up :) The worry never ends!  If she hadn’t,  I’d rather get checked than regret not going.
