Testing: I caved and did this morning knowing full well that nothing would show. MH was asking about testing dates the other morning and somehow thought I said that today was the test date. He then proceeded to tell me that he was sad when I said it wasn't. So hopefully I can hold out until at least Monday to test again.

R/R: Rant: I had to tell MH last night that him asking about testing was not making the TWW any easier. I know he just wants to know but it's hard enough with everything going through my head. Rave: I was craving sour patch kids yesterday and my coworker ran out to the store so I asked her to grab me a package. They didn't have the regular ones so she grabbed me a Valentines day bag that's filled with a ton of mini bags. I now have Sour Patch Kids for days!!

CS/Q:

GTKY: Tell me about your worst Valentine's Day ever.... I don't have a bad one that I can think of. A few years ago I told MH that we didn't have to get anything for each other and he took it literally and didn't even get a card. I was upset because I meant no gifts but thought I'd still get a card. He proceeded to run out and get a card and candy and said sorry lol.

@tessiesmom26 LOL your story made me laugh about Valentine's Day. Men take everything so literally!

Cycle Day/DPO: 17/ maybe 2-3? Not 100% positive.

Timing: 3x in estimated window with CM

Typical LP length: Not sure.

Testing: I plan to on the 24th. That would be 2 days before my expected period. My periods have been pretty regular due to metformin (that's what my Dr. says).

R/R: Nausea. I am so nauseous today, I pray I am not getting sick. The flu is rampant in this school and I have been trying so hard to avoid it.

CS/Q: Anybody else get watery/eggwhite cm for like a full week??? It seems much more pronounced than any other month I have ever had this month.

GTKY: Tell me about your worst Valentine's Day ever.... I cannot stand Valentine's Day. Nothing bad happened, I just don't like it. My husband and I don't really do it. It seems that eating out has lost its appeal because so many people eat out all the time these days. So, we just kind of hang out

GTKY: Tell me about your worst Valentine's Day ever.... I'm going with my worst as an adult because as a child I had a number of bad ones TW in spoiler

due to the passing of a grandmother and a grandfather within a few days of Valentine's Day

We went skiing with friends for our first married valentine's day weekend. The high each day was -15 but we were still having a ton of fun with friends. However on our way home our alternator died with 5.5 hours to go until we got home. Thankfully our friends car was still running so the 5 of us piled in there to stay warm. It took 2 hours for AAA to come tow us because so many people were having issues. We were lucky to find a shop open on Presidents day that was right next to a hotel. We ended up spending the night in a crappy hotel room in eating crappy Vermont pizza. We tried to get wine or been from the gas station across the street but by the time we go there it was closed and it was way too cold to walk anywhere in town. We still laugh about this every time we drive through the town we stayed or go to Okemo mountain where we skied that day.

Testing: Not til Monday but not sure even if it was magically to be positive that it would even register on that day. My plan of having only one test in the house is about to unravel and I am going to cave and buy a multi pack from the supermarket.

R/R: The sun is out and I walked to work this morning so feeling super virtuous, not even letting my stuffy nose get in the way of my positive thinking. Also booked a car for our holiday on the 26th, and going to book at least one thing to do in Queenstown today so getting pretty excited.

CS/Q: Temps still up which is encouraging

GTKY: Tell me about your worst Valentine's Day ever.... Eek I really don't do it so I have a pretty shaky memory of any previous valentines days. Possibly when I was an awkward teenager and I would have killed for a Valentine but *shrugs*

R/R: Rant: I'm having a really tough TTC week. *TW Loss in Spoiler*

My doc thinks I'm probably having a CP. I had faint positives a few days ago (I wrote it off because they were so faint and not getting darker) and had a negative this morning. I had brown spotting Sunday night and Monday. She said it's either a CP or my dates are off. She wants me to wait a week to test again. After that she will bring me in for blood work. My temp is still up so I'm just feeling really confused.

Rave: I have zero plans this weekend. I'm going to do absolutely nothing and I can't wait.

GTKY: Tell me about your worst Valentine's Day ever....
In college I flew home to visit my boyfriend. We had been together almost a year and he was my high school sweetheart. Then he proceeded to break up with me. Turns out he knew he was going to break up with me before I booked a $350 flight home to see him. He wanted to do it in person, but that was a very expensive break up and a really crappy Valentine's Day.

GTKY: Tell me about your worst Valentine's Day ever....

Years ago, a guy I was dating went skiing with some friends that he went to HS with. He claimed he didn’t come home for V day or our 2 year anni (within a day of each other) because they were snowed in and couldn’t leave the mountain. I found out later it was because he was cheating on me. He came home and gave me a necklace which he later asked to give back when I broke up with him.

@tessiesmom26 YH is like the complete opposite of mine. He wants me to wait as long as possible to test and I can't stand it! I always have to hide my early tests from him...but I'm pretty sure he discovered my hiding spot.
@oaklandava Yes, I get EWCM for 5-7 days (or more) each cycle. It gets a little annoying as it feels so messy sometimes.
@lokibear89 Good for you for walking to work! Glad you're feeling better today; hope you continue to heal.

I'm so so sorry for what you're going through. Trust me, I completely understand as I've had 3 CPs in the last 9 months. However, it really is best not to talk about test results in the daily threads until the loss has been confirmed and AF has started. Some people can get really hurt by seeing test results, and if it does end up working out for you, it would be kind of hurtful if you accidentally announced your pregnancy on this thread. I know that is not at all what you meant by posting this here, and I sincerely hope that it's not a loss and will work out for you! I hope this doesn't hurt your feelings, as I completely understand the need to talk about it because it so unbearably stressful and disappointing waiting to see what will happen. Please please please PM me if you need to talk about it. I'm here for you and I hope that things will turn out okay.

R/R: I went down a googling rabbit hole yesterday, and then was just so bummed out, I didn't post my own update. DH was also very frustrating yesterday, but now all is well again in that department. So here is yesterday's post (for me it's yesterday's update already). I'm having some pretty bad cramping, and back pains. I'm not sure if they're normal though because...I'm not used to ovulating. I'm sure they are. I'm just not used to it. One website said that cramping this early is statistically a sign of not being pregnant....Ugh. Must stay off Google!

GTKY: I had the biggest crush on a drummer in marching band (total geek here), and decided to tell him on Valentines Day. Well I dressed up, did my hair and makeup. I looked great considering most days I didn't even try. Well, he dressed up nice that day too. He even complimented me on my appearance. We had flirted back and fourth so I took this as a promising sign, but right as I was about to talk to him after school, I saw him sitting with a cheerleader. Turns out he was asking her to prom, and telling her that he had the biggest crush on her. I was bummed out to say the least. Whomp Whomp! Oh the days of high school....
