R/R: i got to shut down someone at my job who wanted my department to do stuff anybody could do. victory is mine! also, v-day today and there will be non-ttc sex tonight.

CS/Q: nothing to see

GTKY: Happy Valentine's Day, ladies! Are you celebrating? What are your plans? We never go out today, the restaurants are crazy busy and the meals (prix fixe menus) we don't usually find awesome, esp for the prices you pay today. DH will be barbecuing (if it's not pouring) OR we'll make homemade pizza (if it is ) tonight. I made cupcakes last night for dessert today and that'll be it.

R/R: Rave: Went to dinner with family last night. Got the, why aren't you drinking?! Are you pregnant?! I'm going to ask every time I see you! We haven't even told family we are TTC. UGGGHHH. Then got to hear baby talk the whole dinner since our almost 1 year old nephew was there. Maybe that's why I'm having a hard day today?

Rave: Tomorrow's OB appointment... can't come quick enough. I just hope I don't break down in there... I can see it happening

GTKY: Happy Valentine's Day, ladies! Are you celebrating? What are your plans? Dinner with my DH. We don't exchange. We're going to a family owned Italian restaurant that has the best fettuccine alfredo, so excited!

@catlady2015 homemade pizza is one of our fav valentines day things to do too! and yay for non-ttc sex!
@meladams10 it can be so hard to hear the "are you pregnant?!" my mom keep asking me if we are ttc and i keep saying no. I just can't handle the "are you yet".."it's been a while".. etc. I LOVE Italian! Enjoy your night!

H is working late tonight so we have big plans for romantic tacos then catch up on the pvr and will probably end the night with some n&c (for romance, not babies). I'm excited! R/R: Poor DH has a horrible migraine, so I’ll be tiptoeing around the house today.

CS/Q: I think my BBT this morning will have to be trashed due to having to jump out of bed prior to taking it. Not sure if that’ll mess up my tracking this month overall. I think today could be O day (possibly yesterday), so I guess we’ll see what temps looks like tomorrow.

GTKY: Happy Valentine's Day, ladies! Are you celebrating? What are your plans? No real plans today. We exchanged cards, but that’ll probably be it. (TW: DD is a heart warrior, so we usually make this day more about her heart surgeries and stuff for her and less about love-y stuff).

GTKY: Happy Valentine's Day, ladies! Are you celebrating? What are your plans? H and I don't celebrate Valentines Day because our anniversary is next week. I plan to cook a giant turkey breast in my instant pot and then try to figure out what to cook tonight with some of the meat. We got like 4 or 5 giant turkey breasts on sale for .99 cents a pound and now I am meal planning a bunch of poultry recipes... which has absolutely nothing to do with Valentines Day but its happening today.

R/R: Rant: DH has had to stay at work late a lot this week and he has our only car, so I have to lug groceries back to the house by hand tonight since we didn’t go this past weekend. Rave: I’ve been getting to the office late a lot this week, but I’m still the first person in so nobody knows bwahaha...

GTKY: Happy Valentine's Day, ladies! Are you celebrating? What are your plans? DH and I don’t really do Valentine’s Day, but I’ll try to get something decent cooked tonight and take DH to bed early

Both our jobs have been crazy this week so I wouldn’t even want to go out if we celebrated it!

@meladams10 - well meaning family can be the worst sometimes. *hugs* I get it a lot too, especially b/c no one on DH's side of the family has kids. Enjoy that fettucini alfredo! Not sure what time your appointment is tomorrow but wishing you GL today in case it's tomorrow am!!

@caybb352 - I have one of those turkey breasts in my freezer and I always just seem to roast it. if you have any other ideas (i don't have an instant pot, just a regular slow cooker) would you mind sharing?

@kristah2 - oh, no! FX you're not getting sick and are maybe just a little run down and need a rest day.

@wrensnest I hope your temp tomorrow will be informative. I've found temping to be stressful, I wake up in the middle of the night freaking out and then freak out about not being able to get back to sleep and then sad because my temp will be off. It's so much! Hopefully you'll have some luck tomorrow!
@caybb352 Sounds like you're ahead of the game in regards to meal planning! I really need to invest one of those instant pots. Thank you for your advice. You're right, I should write down some sort of plan so I get all my questions answered!

@catlady2015 I usually just cook all the meat in my IP and then we shred the meat and use it in stuff like turkey fried rice, turkey and pea pesto pasta, cheesy turkey potato and broccoli casserole, turkey tacos, cajun turkey and pepper pasta, and basically anything else that you could think to add shredded chicken or turkey to. We don't often just eat the breast plain as a roast its mostly just used to shred and freeze the meat because its easy to just take the meat out of the freezer and add it to things.

We do this a lot when there are steep sales on whole chickens, hams, turkeys, and other bulk meats since we have 2 small deep freezers. One time we had four 20 lb turkeys in the freezer because we got them on sale for .75 per lb. I have adapted a lot of recipes to sub in precooked bulk meat that we have on hand.

@catlady2015 Yay for non-ttc sex day! lol! And I am the same way about going out on Valentines day. Restaurants are way too busy. lol Homemade pizza sounds fun! I haven't done that in a while! Do you make your own crust too?
@meladams10 Ugh, I haaate when family always asks! It's soo hard to deal with. Mine do that too. Especially my MIL. Even my grandmother in law who is 82 was asking us too, and it broke my heart not to tell her we were trying! I hope tomorrow goes well for you! And omg, Italian sounds amazing. I haven't been to an Italian restaurant in forever, and family owned ones are the best!
@kristah2 I hope your not getting sick! And I am hoping for a Valentine baby too. Wouldn't that be sooo awesome!? Yay for tacos!!!
@wrensnest I hope YH gets better quick! Migraines are the worst. MH had one a couple weeks ago and he took a 5 hour nap in the middle of the day.
@caybb352 Those are some great prices for turkey! I love stocking up on meat when it's on sale.
@lin0442 I used to be late quite a bit to work, and LOVED it when my bosses were late (which was very often haha).
@Stargazer1lily I still really wish we had snow. <cries> We haven't had any this season!

I have a question ladies!! I THINK I might be on the TWW board now, but I wanted your input. FF hasn't given me a clear sign of O, but it suspects that it was yesterday. I had a positive OPK on Monday night, another Positive Tuesday morning, but a negative OPK Tuesday night. So, based on that, I probably O'd between yesterday morning and last night right? I did have a slight increase in temp this morning as well. (see chart in spoiler). Based on that info, do you think that I O'd yesterday, and I should be on TWW now? Or should I wait until FF says I O'd? Thank you!

@Whitmore1027 I would say it’s likely that you Oed yesterday but you could wait to move over to the 2WW thread until FF confirms or until you have another high temp tomorrow that lets you know you did O.

my kitchenaid mixer, it makes it so easy.
As for your question, we usually hold out moving over until FF confirms O (3 days of higher temps). Give yourself another day or two to see that temp climb to help confirm before moving over. i agree you likely O'd yesterday, but keep HIO until you can confirm.

@meladams10 Good luck at your appointment tomorrow. I always find it hard to remember to say/ask what I meant to in those situations, so I agree writing some stuff down will probably help!

@catlady2015 I agree about restaurants on valentines. So not worth it to go out. I prefer pizza and wine and Netflix at home anyway.

R/R: H is off work today so we are just hanging out at home. Currently taking turns playing battlefront. haha. Feeling pretty good today. No pains or anything! Hopefully it continues to be a good day!

CS/Q: I am pretty sure I O'd yesterday due to my OPK's and Temp, but I'll give it another day or two to confirm!

GTKY: Happy Valentine's Day, ladies! Are you celebrating? What are your plans? No real plans. I made heart shaped pancakes this morning using heart shaped cookie cutters! That was fun! I am wearing socks with hearts on them and I drank coffee out of a mug with hearts and "Love" on it. Does all that count? We have never really celebrated since my birthday is the week after. My H looves the day after Valentines so he can buy all the discounted candy. Haha! I have no idea what we are making for dinner. But perhaps after dinner I can take out some fun lingerie and have some fun with H. lol

@Whitmore1027 When I turn a pos OPK I keep testing until neg then I move over to TWW the day after that and call O day the day that the OPK turns pos. I believe once pos you O within 24 hours.
ie. Pos Monday, Pos Tuesday, Negative Wed, call thurs +1. I do this also so I don't get excited and test what would be too early.

@kristah2 That's a good idea! The first day I ever took an OPK was Monday, and it was positive, so I wonder about the days leading up to that, but then again, my temps wouldn't have shown that I O'd any day before that. My OPK's intructions say that when you get a positive, then you should O within 24-48 hours. So it would definitely seem to be either Monday or Tuesday. I am sooo fascinated with our bodies and how it all works! Ladies are magical. haha!
@galactickates Enjoy your flowers!! I love getting flowers, but we don't often since we have cats that like to EAT THEM. lol!
@leafyarch I hope that meeting really helped! Anything to help the stress at work!

@leafyarch Methyl folate is a more broken down form of folic acid that is more easily absorbed into the body. I was Dxed with MTHFR and one of the things they recommend for that is extra folic acid/methyl folate.

Also, yay for less stress at work!
