I had a rough night with pain. After doing some Googling and convincing MH we didn’t need to go to the ER, I think it was a terrible combo of RLP, Braxton Hicks (if I can have those already??), and gas pains. Interestingly, I got relief laying on my right side instead of my left. Super weird, but feel good today.
At least he’s agreed to ditch this afternoon and go to Harry Potter world with me. Excited to get some good Bump pics in Diagon Alley!!
@LaceyBee522 sorry to hear about the pain! You can def get BH this early. I’ve had them since 17weeks or so, and definitely more at night. And I’m with ya on right side comfier than left. Heck even my back haha
@doxiemoxie212 sorry about your DH but I hope you have a blast at Harry Potter world! I can’t wait to see pics.

@LaceyBee522 If I lay on my right side and want to move I normally get a gas pain. Just one sucks, nevermind a combo of things.
@doxiemoxie212 Yay! I'm glad DH is going with you. Makes up for him coming home late a little bit, right? (I also get frustrated when DH is out and doesn't text me if it's super late, because I won't text him first). Please get a butterbeer and enjoy the wizarding goodness!
AFM the crib and dresser is arriving today within a 4 hour window (sigh). I'm nervous because it's not the one I originally wanted but DH really liked this one (wasn't my favorite but I didn't hate it) and I was just happy he had an opinion on something. After that comes I think I'm going to scope out the TRU sale and also find some girl scout cookies. They have to be out today right?
We're hosting my brother and SIL this weekend, and I'm really excited though bummed by all the rain we're having here. Today's itinerary is spin class followed by a Barnes and Noble run to pick up Expecting Better (the Houston Library, despite having evveerything, only has it in audiobook! irritating), then breakfast tacos, shower, chili cook off, and let everyone else go drink while pregnant lady takes a nap... basically an ideal day.
Hope everyone else's Saturday is off to a great start!
@LaceyBee522 that sounds like me on Monday. Colace, gas x, and kinesiology tape helped me by Wednesday I was back to second tri greatness.
@becca_123 I made it back to sleep for a couple hours.

We are also picking up a crib today that I found on FB Marketplace for a great deal! And MIL told me she is paying for it, so even bigger score there. The crib is gorgeous and I’m excited.

@doxiemoxie212 I hate when MH doesn't text and I wake up in the middle of the night and he's still not home. At least you're doing HP world today. Saying I'm jealous doesn't even begin to cover it!
@l2589 I'm the same way! GD test on Monday so I'm eating all the sweets this weekend just in case. Lol.
AFM I'm currently at the ER trying to get this thing out of my ear. My PCP couldn't do it and now they've tried 3 times and it's still in there. It hurts so bad, if my hearing wasn't already damanged, it definitely would be now.

AFM, DH is out car loan shopping this morning. Looks like we are going to be getting a new (to us) Honda Odyssey this weekend. We went out and got our current truck appraised at Carmax and found a van we liked there last night. DH wasn’t a fan of the color (blue), so the agent found one in Tampa that is grey. They are shipping it (a whole 20 mins away) over here for us to check out tonight or tomorrow.

@doxiemoxie212 @ffw0617 my H also doesn't seem to understand that if you're going to be out later than expected all I need is a simple text, it's not that hard! By the time I talk to him I'm always mad and he thinks I'm over reacting but really you could've avoided all of this by just letting me know, he knows I'm a worrier.
all that should be out tomorrow and DH can start the demo!

DD and I drove 45 mins out to one of the closing babies r us locations and she fell asleep 10 minutes before we got here... so now im sitting in my car watching everyone go in and out. Seems like there are a few good deals... someone rented a flat bed and loaded up what looked like cribs. I've seen lots of diaper boxes too. Getting worried that I will spend too much!

@jsl82 I hope you have better luck than I did. When I checked out our closing Babies R Us it said 30% off everything in the store. However, once inside, every product section (except clothes) had signs saying that everything was only 10% off. So lame. Also, all the diapers, wipes, and formula were excluded. It looked like a lot of the higher dollar stuff (strollers, big name car seats, 4moms stuff) were all moved to other stores.

@catlady1215 We have a bunch of candle holders left over from our wedding with the same problem. We're just going to sell them with the leftover wax still in them....then it is someone else's problem. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@katie121209 Ugh....that is rough. I love a good power washer, though. There's something so satisfying with seeing the progress.

My only theory is that it’s part of a large swanky outdoor mall and said swanky mall made them a deal they couldn’t refuse to stay open, but I really have no idea of the real explanation.
Atleast he gave it to me early and I have a few days. Instead of feeling bad on Wednesday.

Edit- too early for my brain to word, apparently
I checked out the whopping 10% off sale at BRU yesterday and agree it was totally lame. I was hoping to get some furniture at a reasonable price... But I'm sorry not taking a floor model with scratches for 10% off! (Cribs, dressers) Especially after your like 15-30% off online like 2 weeks ago! Anyways, I was lucky that the glider I registered for was there, new in a box so we did buy that! Now, we've hit the $300 minimum needed to get cash back on our registry so there's that.
Moved over to check out BBB and saw some nice full bedroom sets that we'll probably settle on. Then proceeded to sit in gliders with another couple an HOUR and chat. She's due 6/12 so we had fun chatting and she insisted on becoming FB friends. A little weird but whatever! It felt good to get out and be social though!
