  Ultrasound pictures go in the ultrasound thread. What you’re doing right now is the equivalent of walking in on a group of people you’ve never met in the middle of a conversation and demanding their attention. There’s a great post called *READ FIRST* that is a great thread to read first.

  Yup. You missed the whole “READ FIRST” post as previously outlined. 
  
  Also. For reasons previously outlined, we have a thread dedicated to showing off bumps. You aren’t special enough to get your own thread. If you read through the initial posts. You’d know that.

  Yes. You clearly haven’t read the *READ FIRST* post which is why you’re confused. There are rules for the board put in place by the admins of The Bump and one of those rules is not making attention whore posts. All Bump pictures go in the weekly Bump thread which is every Wednesday. You’re welcome for telling you what you should already know had you read the *READ FIRST* post first.

  Thanks for the advice.  From now on I will watch and be supportive from afar.  Didn't see anything wrong with congratulating a fellow mama but phew tough crowd!

  You could do that. Or you could read pinned posts and then participate. That includes actually offering support and giving advice to others.

  If you want to see what a board with no rules or organization looks like, go check out babycenter. Trust me, having some basic structure is much better than that chaos. If you disagree, by all means, join them over there. I'm not a huge fan of rules in general, but if everyone started their own thread for every bump picture, ultrasound, announcement, or random question we would never be able to find anything. There are well over 200 women here that have added themselves to the due date spreadsheet, and even more that have posted in Introductions. Having board organization keeps everything flowing, and helps us get to know each other. We'd love to have you participate with the group, but please respect the other women here and follow some basic guidelines.
