Moms of Multiples - week of 1/29

I'd love to hear from those of us with multiples as we ger closer to April.  Hope everyone is doing great!!  I have an appt tomorrow and will fill in my details then.

1. How far along are you? What are the babies sizes, or if you know their weights??

2. Any recent appointment updates, if not when is your next appt?  Is a delivery date scheduled?

3. How are you feeling?

4. Best moment with the babies this week?

5. Any Rants/Raves/Questions or  Advice?

    1. How far along are you? What are the babies sizes, or if you know their weights??
    30 weeks today. On the 11th girl weight estimated at 2 pounds 6 ounces and boy 2 pounds 9 ounces.

    2. Any recent appointment updates, if not when is your next appt?  Is a delivery date scheduled?
    Next appointment is US on the 6th. Should be scheduling C section at appointment on 2/9.

    3. How are you feeling?
    Generally good. Big, uncomfortable and tired, but you know lol

    4. Best moment with the babies this week?
    Just enjoy them moving/ kicking so much.

    5. Any Rants/Raves/Questions or  Advice?

    29w5d.  Really looking forward to hitting that 30 week mark and each week thereafter!  Measured just under 3lbs but OB today struggled to get accurate weights.  

    2. Any recent appointment updates, if not when is your next appt?  Is a delivery date scheduled?  
    I see the MFM next week and am on a 2 week rotation with OB.  No delivery scheduled yet; shooting for 37 weeks if all remains well.  Baby B flipped breech again since 2 weeks ago....grrr.  :)  I guess we should finalize names soon!!

    3. How are you feeling?  
    Big and uncomfortable.... (you know ;)  Apparently I am also having contractions and don't realize it (probably mistaking it for kicks abd squirms??)

    4. Best moment with the babies this week?
    I enjoyed seeing 3D pics today of their faces.  So cute!!

    5. Any Rants/Raves/Questions or  Advice?  
    Really tired of the " wow, you are having twins?  One and done."  comments.  Really?  We want to have one more....so back off!!

    @g_amoss.  Did you get your c section scheduled?  I'm in a wait and see mode.  Baby A is 3lbs 6oz and Baby B is 3lbs 3 oz with a 13% femur identified as IUGR, but cause unknown other than carrying twins.  31w2d and counting...just want them to grow big and strong!  Perhaps I need more calcium from milkshakes!   :D

    Still not scheduled (ugh). US on 2/6 31w1d estimated A at 4 pounds and B at 3 15. Both are good. My hemoglobin was low, so I had to start Slow FE. Has your hemoglobin been tested? Prayers your littles get growing! More milkshakes sounds like a great idea!

    They are getting big!!  That's great!  No, I don't believe I have been tested.  I will inquire on Tuesday though.  Sigh, yes, the waiting game is tough.

    32w2d. My last growth ultra sound was at 30w6d and Baby A was 4 lbs 10 oz and Baby B was 4 lbs. 4 oz. They were measuring a week or two ahead. 

    2. Any recent appointment updates, if not when is your next appt?  Is a delivery date scheduled?

    This week I started my twice a week NST tests. I passed yesterdays, which I was told by the tech was uncommon. She said most twin moms have to go for ultrasounds when they can't get the readings they need. The next one is on Thursday. Induction scheduled for 3/12/18! 

    3. How are you feeling?

    Ok, I think I am adjusting to being big. However, I have a cold that won't allow me to sleep laying down without getting super congested :(.

    4. Best moment with the babies this week?

    Just feeling them move. They are crazy in there!

    5. Any Rants/Raves/Questions or  Advice?

    @arizonamarchmommy.  Ah, things are getting real!!!  Congrats on getting an inducement date.  Today I learned we are shooting for 36 weeks, so I just go moved up to 3/12 ish for possible inducement unless Baby B continues to fall behind on growth.  Holy smokes, so much to do in 4 weeks!! March babies here we come!

    Any other MoMs still around??  Still pregnant?  Or navigating the NICU?  Perhaps home with your new bundles of joy?  Would love to hear your stories!

    I’m around. C section scheduled for next Friday (37w 4d). How are your two little boys doing?

    @g_amoss.  That's great!  Good luck!!  We are still in NICU, but just watching for apnea coming off caffeine and trying to get them to learn to feed (breastfeeding).  Also working on getting my supply up still to feed these kiddos.  Would love to avoid formula if possible.  Highly stressful place and would love to be home, but they are being well cared for and are doing really well.

    4 lbs 10 oz and 4 lbs 5 oz at 33w5d.  More info in birth stories and birth announcements.  Both are gaining weight daily.   :)

    @g_amoss.  Thinking of you and your babies!!  Good luck tomorrow!!  We are looking at a Saturday discharge from NICU.  :)

    Hey! I've actually been on my infertility board this whole time cause I found much more support from my fellow IVF mamas than most of the people in April. Fun to read about you guys though and glad your babies are doing so well! I'm 37 weeks this Wednesday with B/G twins and will be induced at 38 weeks but really hope they come before then! @knuttyplus2 extra props for being a NICU mom! Definitely a rough battle but so happy you're (presumably) home now!

    @nmtay We are home and sleep deprived!  Awesome job getting to 37 weeks and best wishes for your upcoming delivery!  Those of us left on the April board after the Facebook departure are supportive, so don't be a stranger!
