I'm the oldest of 5. And I actually just found out about one of them last month! (Id never met my birth father unti I found him and my brother last month).

I'm 27. I have sisters 23, 10. I have brothers 24 and 8. I love it because my step son is 6, so he loves seeing my siblings.

I am both the the middle and the only child. All my siblings are half.

My family is complicated and we are not close.

Here goes: I have an older sister and brother from my mom's first marriage. Then she had me with my dad. Then split up. My mom had my younger two sisters with my step dad and my dad had my two younger brothers with my step mom.
For those who want to know ages and in brackets I show which ones are my mom's and which are my dad's.

This is why it was a big shock to me that I was having fertility issues. My mom had her last kid at 39!

So this is sort of a bizarre question for me to answer, but we'll go with the easy response and say that I am the oldest of 2.

I have a total of 9 (10 on the way) full/half siblings.
I have not met them all, we are not all close.
My oldest sister (25) is 11 months older than me (24). We talk almost daily even though we live across the country from each other.
I have two younger sisters who are twins they are 19 (5 year age difference with them)
There are 4 of us from my mom
My dad has an additional 6 with his wife and she is currently pregnant, last I heard.

I’m the youngest of 2, brother is 5 years older. But fun fact: I have no first cousins, so until my niece and nephews were born, my brother and I were the only “kids”. We have a pretty small family.

I'm the oldest - my brother and I are separated by 5 years. Most people hear that and are like "wow, were you guys close growing up" probably expecting an answer of no... couldn't be further from the truth. We were (and still are) really, really close.

@chyvie - mine is almost as complicated as yours! My mom had me in HS, so until last month I didn't know my dad. He has a son with a different woman. My one sister is from a different dad (her first marriage) and my two youngest siblings are from my mom's current marriage.
