How far along? /EDD.  Any milestones?
    9 weeks 4 days/August 30

    Recent Results / Next Appointment?
Scan on Friday put us right on track and HB was 178. Everything looks great so far! Next appointment is February 13 for the NT and NIPT and I'll also meet with a midwife (which is fine but since I have to have a c-section due to previous uterine surgeries, I'm not sure how much we'll get to talk about :)

    How's it going?
Smell sensitivity is in full force and boobs are super sore. I reached across the bed this morning to get something (wasn't wearing a bra, sorry if TMI) and brushed my nipple on the sheets and it hurt for like five minutes afterward. Stuff is no joke! Otherwise dealing with nausea mostly at night and first thing in the morning and am exhausted from 2:00 pm until I go to bed. I am also sleeping like garbage.  :)

@sierraddweddig. Congratulations!  At my first ultrasound we saw just the gestational sac and yolk sac.  Then we heard the HB at our next one which was 6+6.

So I'm at 8 weeks and they stopped my PIO and the Estrace tablets both.  I am only just taking the Endometrin and Levo.  So that's probably what she means.  You may not really need to continue it anyway after next week, so maybe they just figure if you run out a few days early, nbd. @adirat

@adirat yikes the MS sounds awful, so sorry girl.

    EDD? 9w+2, measuring at 9w+1

Appointments? I’m still getting weekly u/s so this Thursday & I’ll also be having my 3rd intralipid IV

How’s it going? My anxiety was back up & out of control this week so I cut back on my pregnancy board reading (both in the Sept 2018 birth mom and a facebook group for MTHFR & pregnancy). It’s great to have access to real life experience from others but it’s like I know too much hearing their horror stories. Ugh! Also I will be asking lots more questions this week about what they saw on u/s last week. I’ve been following orders and lying down as much as possible but that’s a recipe for disaster with so much time to think!

@sarcasticowl I hear you on the terrible sleep- that’s been consistent over here... but I do know I’m lucky overall in terms of symptoms. Hope you ladies have a great week!!

@adirat Sorry about the MS (or all the time sickness I guess).  Hang in there!  I was on estrogen patches and estrace until 10 weeks.  They had me stop all the estrogen and PIO at the same time.

@lablover78 Do you have an iPad? If so, something super fun to do while lying down is a game called The Room. It costs like $5 I think but it's so much fun and really takes your mind off everything. From one anxiety bear to another  <3

I will check it out! Thank you. I just randomly told a male colleague that I ran into that I’m pregnant?!?! I walked away like why would I do that? He asked if I’ve hired anyone and I launched into saying that I think I’m going to have to etc etc. I haven’t even told some friends yet - I’m crazy!

How far along? /EDD.  Any milestones?  Sept 2nd or 5th? Need to clarify that lol.  Successful sonogram today babies hb is 175 and 2.3 cm. Doubled in size from last week!  Also great news the SCH bleeding is very small now almost gone. I'm very relieved.

Recent Results / Next Appointment? Today 4 pm. Hubby isn't going because he has to work.  Just got back from nutritionist and she looked back at records and set my starting Pregnancy weight. According to her I've only gained 1 lb so far so that is great and success I can report back to OB today.  Ob wanted me to see hospital nutritionist at least once but insurance won't cover it so it is $145. I'm passing and just sticking with mine.  Have appt for genetics counselor scheduled and really wanting that to be over with. So much waiting with pregnancy!!

@lablover78 I completely randomly told my accountant I was pregnant several weeks ago so you aren't the only one!! Haha that is funny though, I know what you mean it's like you just blurt it out. I felt crappy afterwards though so I try my very best to keep a lid on it, but not easy.

My anxiety is getting better, I guess my Dr. was optimistic last time so I am feeling more optimistic.  Probably falsly so, but I'll take it because ignorance is bliss at this point. Well not bliss but better than anxiety hell.

    ***Edited****

Well I thought my anxiety was better, it is just changing as baby becomes real. I had a 1.5 day panic attack about work.  I'm calmed down now and everything is fine, but just went ahead and edited my post.  It was very rambly and complainy and didn't even fully communicate.

    The gist is:
My main stress in early spring is my business.  I'm a landscape designer and things are slow right now.  Things will pick back up for me in spring but I am bored with no work and also getting anxious about having too much work in spring. This is how it goes for many small business owners and it always works out for me every year. I am just especially stressed this year when I think about being pregnant and doing it all. But it will all sort out and I can pare back as needed.  I just struggle with reducing my work after so many years devoted to my career. But I'm sure once I can fill in with more activities like preparing more for the baby, telling people and once it comes it will be ok.

@adirat sorry to hear hear about your MS.  I have just been green around the gills and dizzy but haven't thrown up.  I bet that is very hard, hang in there!

@sarcasticowl I cannot sleep at all!  I have to pee 3-5 times a night. Then I just toss and turn. Hubby has been sleeping in guest room bc he thinks he's getting a cold. So it has been a little better having more room. I just worry about all my gymnastics in bed and him not sleeping either.

@sierraddweddig. Welcome!  First sono 5-6 weeks may not show heartbeat so keep your head up as it is very early. Will help you relax and feel more confident or informed of what is happening when you see sac and fetal pole. Dr. may be able to measure these and let you know how things are progressing.  A few of us here are a few weeks farther along than you, but just know we've all been there with the anxiety of the first few weeks.  Hang in there it seems like time slows down but once you hear heartbeat seems to speed back up again.

I agree, August is pretty rough.  I usually stay out of any of the drama but I do read all the posts and the group can be intense.  Are all the BMB's like that?

@laurad75. I'm sorry those losses are freaking you out.  I am having to give myself pep talks literally every single day, so I get it. (((Hugs)))  I think I had a weird dream about my first Ob visit last night, too! Lol. Maybe more will come back to me if i try to remember...

@2MomsHoping I'm not showing at all (11+3 today).  Any tummy that I do have is from increasing my bagel and cream cheese intake.

@2MomsHoping Nothing here either other than my normal pooch that I can no longer even attempt to suck in because of the incredible level of bloating :) My lower pelvis, right above my pubic bone, feels a little more firm to the touch but that's about it. Still flat. I think I remember the nurse saying the baby had implanted on the back wall of my uterus, too, which may make it longer for me to show. :)

    Hey guys-
So I swear I'm either bloated or getting a little something bump like going.  My best friend says I won't show until 16 weeks but I read at 10 you can. My shirts and jeans don't fit right and my hubby can tell too.  It might be bloat but it's baby related! Haha

I am so glad others have mentioned the other boards.  I personally think there is no reason the women should speak to and treat others that way, for any reason.  Even if they ask the dumbest silliest question and post it in the wrong place.  The poor lady is just trying to join in just like us all and TTC and Pregnancy is hard. I personally think it is a form of bullying and I don't participate in any other boards. It is also a Bump phenomenon and culture.  Who cares what the rules are. I gave up on all of it a long time ago but then very happy to find such a nice group here! Let's keep it up!  Normal and no drama 4EVA!

My H definitely already said to me not to "push it put" bc I'm already showing a blump,  :# I gained a lot of wait by the end with back to back retrievals and back to back transfer cycles, but still.  I feel like anyone who sees me every day is going to think somethings really up very soon.  I can only play off being bummed about my weight gain, and having been started on thyroid meds for so long...
    <div class="Spoiler">***blump pic removed for privacy***</div>

@hottietoddy I started showing at 9-10 weeks, enough that two coworkers guessed i was pregnant. Wasn't able to hide it very long at all.

@persnickity, @businessWife, @hottietoddy, and @sarcasticowl.  Congrats on your little bumps starting.  I’m sure mine will start to show too.  I’ve lost about 15lbs due to the morning sickness so maybe that’s why I’m not showing yet.  Also I like 5’9 and a little overweight to begin with so lots of room for the baby to hide in there :P I’m hope to be getting my bump soon.

@2MomsHoping I'm so sorry the MS has been so tough for you.  I can't imagine having lost 15 lbs since the pregnancy (I've already gained 10  :s )  I'm sure just everyones body is different, and everyone carries different, and even to a mama, she can carry differently from one pregnancy to the next!  Hope the nausea subsides and you start feeling better soon... ❤

@2MomsHoping Oh, how awful... I have lost some weight (don't even want to know how much) and it's so disconcerting. Hope you feel better soon.
