@calimom2524 don’t cry! Just start from the beginning! I just watched the one about a Butt you can catch up in no time lol we just keep rewatching it brings comfort I guess. Even hubby puts it on for me before bed.
I'm going to order a custom wall paper mural. The nice part, other than it being dramatically cheaper than hiring an artist, is that it is removable and reusable. Still expensive, but somewhere around $500-600 rather than $2k+
How do they stick those on? Every sticky wall thing I’ve ever tried to use wouldn’t stay on correctly. Surely for $500 they stay on well.
Up again because of this tooth. I have 26 more doses of antibiotics, and then I need to find an oral surgeon who will remove it during the second trimester (or pray it doesn't get infected again until after the baby is born, and then I'll have all 4 wisdom teeth out). I'm hoping the pills kick in and the swelling goes down by tomorrow.
I did make sure there aren't any plastic bags for the big cat to get into tonight. Didn't stop the little cat from baking biscuits on my stomach, waking me up.

@jsnakehole tooth pain is the worst! I had to have an emergent root canal when I was last pregnant so I feel your pain! Hopefully, you feel better soon!
@dirtanddiamonds They have a couple of different adhesive methods, but the peel and stick is the one I think I'm going with. It's like a big sticker. The others go on just like wall paper with paste, but aren't removable.

I've been on an Ancient Rome kick lately. It started with "The History of Rome" podcast and took off from there. I was just reading about Agrippina the Younger, and wondering if that was too aggressive a middle name to give a baby

Yep, but it usually things that you shouldn’t pregnant while pregnant. Like genetic disorders or how parents live with a child with autism. Crap that makes it even harder to sleep.
Like @ssthomps I also look up the scary ish. Under the guise of being "prepared" or at least "well informed." ...But seriously, wtf brain? I've been twiddling my thumbs for 3 hours now trying to go to sleeeep.
DH started a new work schedule this week, 5am-2pm. He likes it, but now I’m waking up at 3:30-4am with him and can’t go back to sleep. I’m usually a 9-10 hrs of sleep/night person, but now I’m always tired.
I’m starting FT subbing again on Monday, so this should be interesting. I’ll probably be exhausted by the time I get home at 3-4pm.
I read somewhere that Thomas Edison electricuted an elephant. So I researched that. Turns out it wasn’t him. But it did happen. And there is video. It was a circus. Awful. Awful. Awful.
So ueah. That’s what I do when I can’t sleep. I love non fiction. And history.
Ooooooh I’m using that one!! I’m wide awake, I know I previously thought I didn’t like reality tv but lol I can’t stop watching this sister wives stuff and finding sister wives. Like must turn off tv but there’s so much drama lol
I should go to bed, but at midnight I hit 13 weeks, and I want to see what the app says about week 14. It's a stupid reason to stay up, but for some reason it feels like staying up on my birthday, or New Years. It's one of the nice and fun things about being pregnant, unlike all the constant symptoms!
I used the home doppler today and found the heartbeat, of course as soon as we found it the fetus moved away. Still fun to play hide and seek with it. I wore maternity jeans for the first time today. They're great! I also borrowed a friend's 4 month old to try out my baby wrap, and it worked great. The baby was super chill, and looked like he was about to doze off if I left him there any longer. Kind of a fun pregnancy day, though I'm still fatigued and nauseated. I think it's getting better, though.

@Mkrosieo I’m not much for reality tv (Bachelor, Amazing Race, that kind of thing) but definitely fascinated with Sister Wives and the Duggers and Teen Mom type stuff. I must like to watch a hot mess in action! lol
I’ve always been a night owl but it’s out of control right now. Almost every day I doze off and take a little nap around 8-9pm and then wake up and can’t get back to sleep until 6 am. It sucks.
I work nights at least but I’m only working part-time right now anyway.
I’ve been watching The Crown on Netflix so I keep going down a google rabbit looking up stuff about the history of British royals. As if that’s ever information I’m gonna need!
Or, I just read a million reviews of baby strollers, car seats, monitors, etc until im convinced that I won’t be happy with any of them because there’s always at least a handful of bad reviews. Lol.
DD2 was up from 130-4 last night, I assume due to teething because she was vocal about her displeasure. I gave her the tylenol around 230. It was terrible. Once you're used to them STTN it is brutal when they don't. Thank god I'm working from home today and didn't have to get out of bed at 5am. I would have fallen asleep at the wheel on the way to the office.
Anyone else here want to bitch about their snoring partners? My H normally snores a bit but he has a cold and it’s out of control. I literally want to smack him all night long. Ear plugs are useless. I keep moving to the guest room in the MOTN but the bed is uncomfortable and I can’t sleep there either. And then my H gets all whiny because I left the room. I haven’t gotten a good night’s sleep in a week.

Yeah. I’ve become more violent lately. Thank you, hormones. But I will slug him. Hard. Lol. And then pretend to sleep. Hahaha.

@dirtanddiamonds that is beyond awful Smh
i agree though I always end up looking up crazy worst case scenario stuff.
Lol. I’m almost this way. Mostly just pregnant and hungry now. So. Prungry. Lol.
