8 week weirdness

Hi everyone. I’m 8w2d today and experiencing some dull, period-like cramps. Nothing painful, just uncomfy. No bleeding but yesterday afternoon I had some very light brown staining when I wiped (only when I wipe, not enough to show up on a panty liner). I am still on 2x/day Endometrin. So, I’ve been reading about the uterus expanding around this time and that it causes the crampiness and can even cause some light spotting. Anyone else experienced this around this time? I’m not so worried that I’ll call my RE, since I assume they’ll just tell me not to worry and to call if I’m soaking a pad, etc. Just curious if you 8+ week mamas remember anything changing around now. Thanks!

    @sarcasticowl I had quite a bit of dull uterine cramping/pulling feelings around that range last time. I thought it was something like round ligament pain or uterine growth. I hope it's nothing!

    I have had cramps 1-2times daily lasting for 10-30 seconds from about 8 through 20 ish weeks. I didn't have any spotting though, but I know a lot of women do with normal pregnancies.
    If they are lasting longer, maybe as your doctor about them.

    Thanks all! The spotting - which really wasn’t much at all, soooo super light - seems to be done and the dull cramping subsided awhile ago. I have an u/s appointment on Friday so I’ll ask about it then, and definitely cal before then if anything changes. Must be a first baby thing ❤️

    @sarcasticowl Congratulations! :)
    People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.
