Wtf to my coworker. She’s supposed to have a key item done by 9-10 am. This item allows half my team to do the bulk of our work for the day. However, she keeps taking her sweet time and running hours late on it. Sometimes she doesn’t even finish until the team is about to leave for the day and we have to stay late!

My WTF is to my hips. I woke up yesterday feeling like someone stabbed me in my right hip. I couldn't get comfortable all day and it took forever to fall asleep last night because of it. That one feels mostly better but now my left hip has a dull pain. WTF.

My WTF is my horrible reflux that makes it impossible to eat anything, one day everything will be great and the next I can’t eat anything without feeling terrible!! Is it 2nd tri yet....?!?

Oh I have another one! WTF weird pregnancy dreams! I woke up in the middle of the night because I had a very real dream that I had pulled in the garage and was getting DS out of the car when a strange man started walking up the driveway. I tried to quickly close the garage door but he made it inside the garage. So I ran in the house and locked the door so he couldn't get in. Then I was calling 911 and trying to figure out what to do- do I go out a window? Can I take out an intruder with a gun while managing my son? Or do I put him somewhere safe and go attack the intruder to try to spare him? Should we climb out his bedroom window and make a run for the neighbors? It was so real. Even once I was awake I was trying to figure out what was the right answer. Totally scary. Could not fall back to sleep.

My WTF is I hate that I’m still paying daycare this week when DS May end up being out all week. I get it, but I feel like it’s just throwing money away all while DH and I go through our PTO at work. Ugh.

@elsieisamoocow @mrsbubbles-2 She didn't say why - I only talked to the nurse because I had to call back since I forgot to ask while I was in the office. The letter she sent says she doesn't want me outside of the range of her care - so I'm basically not allowed to leave the city. I think I'm going to confirm with my high risk doc though.

@hezzer78 HAHAHAHAHAH WTF is with your doc?!? I have to travel 3 hours to get my cerclage. Their advice was 'try not to be more than 2 hours from a reputable hospital before 30 weeks. Then don't be further than 1 hr from a good hospital.' You doc is seriously messed up.

@livinthesunnylife that's terrifying! I can't remember what they were about now but I know I've had some crazy vivid dreams too. Then analyzing them after to see if you did the right thing even though it's 3am and normal people are sleeping

@princesslockness Well, in her defense, her exact words were "it is not advised to travel" - so she didn't "no way" - basically that she wouldn't recommend it. I know Spain is not like a 3rd world country or something, but if I was over there and something happened, I can imagine the stress and nightmare situation that would be for me because I wasn't at home. If that happened, I don't think I would forgive myself.
She's a really good doctor - one of the best REs in the area - she's just a little scatterbrained at times?

My WTF is to my DH. He has been home by 4pm at the latest all week. Today I asked him to cook dinner because I'm working until 7 or 8 and would really like some real food when I get home. He just informed me at 6:18pm our time, that even though he has all the stuff ready for one of his go to meals (fried rice), he would "prefer not to because he isn't hungry." Guess I'm having cereal for dinner.

Sorry to all the sick moms and kiddos! Hope you all are feeling better soon!

my wtf is my doctors office. Went in for my first trimester screening/nuchal translucency scan with my H and the U/S tech sucked! I asked him what the baby was measuring at and he looked at my U/S photo in my hand and said we measure from head to rump. And I said, yes I know I'm wondering what the baby is measuring in length as I don't see a measurement on this paper. Then he pointed to the head and said, see that's the head and then here's the rump. OMG no shit Sherlock why are you such a condescending fucktard? Sorry it was really patronizing and weird, he completely ignored my simple question even after I asked it THREE times.

So far everyone I have encountered at my doctors sucks. Does anyone else have Kaiser insurance? I'm kicking myself for not trying to get different coverage, now it's too late. Oh well I meet my main midwife 2/19 so hoping she is good!

Speak of the devil...OB called shortly after I posted this. Genetic screening came back normal — and I have the baby’s sex in an envelope in my glovebox— hiding it from myself so I can bring it to the baker to make us a little cake — arghhh I cant believe I have the info in my car but I am making myself wait until Friday when the cake will be ready —just a cute thing that I thought would be fun way to find out with my husband —also I’m sorry about the lack of punctuation on this post — the period and comma suddenly disappeared from my keyboard on my iPad—strange!
