Who’s got one? What is your EDD/ how far along are you? What is the appointment (betas, confirmation, ultrasound, etc)? Do you have any specific concerns?
What is your EDD/ how far along are you? I hope to find this out today! I think 6 weeks today.
What is the appointment (betas, confirmation, ultrasound, etc)? Repeat ultrasound to see if baby/heartbeat has formed. Saw the yolk sak almost 2 weeks ago.
Do you have any specific concerns Not really. I think everything will be fine and I was just too early last time but I think there are always nerves in repeat ultrasounds.
What is the appointment (betas, confirmation, ultrasound, etc)? It was an initial appt. They did my blood draws and a dating ultrasound.
ETA- They would have done a pap but I just had one in November.
Do you have any specific concerns? No real concerns yet. I'll get my labs back in the next few days. Everything is visually measuring spot on for my days. The heart looks like it **just** started beating and it couldn't quite be measured yet. So I'll probably be a little nervous until Feb 19th when I go back.
I had my first appointment Friday the 26th at 8 weeks and got my initial bloodwork taken. The office called back today to schedule for complete bloodwork again, and I have to see my Doctor. They don’t usually schedule appointments for the doctor like this. Has anyone else had this happen? Any idea what it could be for? I’m stressing out a bit.
I have one 2/2. It's the initial appointment I will be 8+2. The receptionist said it would be a 45 min appointment. Last time I got ultrasounds done at a different office so I'm not sure what could take up so much time
8w1d on Thursday when I’ll have my first appointment. I’ve been on vacation so I haven’t thought too much about it, but i’m starting to get nervous! Just found out my new OB is starting Maternity leave on thursday so I’ll be seeing her NP and won’t even meet her until she gets back from Mat Leave. I’m not sure how I feel about that. I had no issues with my last OB but she’s 20ish min away from me now that we’ve moved (as is the hospital where I delivered) and the new one is 5min down the road (in the same building as my son’s pediatrician). It would be so much more convenient but if I don’t get a good vibe at this first appt I’ll switch back to my old practice.

My office does an OB physical appointment during first tri, complete with pap. Could it be for something like that?

Second ultrasound is tomorrow. I’ll be 8+4. We heard the heartbeat and measured perfectly at 6+4 but my doctor offered an optional repeat in two weeks. He said we had a 10% risk of miscarriage after we heard HB our first go around and that drops to 3% if everything still looks good tomorrow.
I have my first appt Jan. 31, I'll be 8w1d. This is just the initial intake appointment (questionnaire, bloodwork, urine sample) annnd because I'll be far enough along, she'll look for a heartbeat with a little bedside ultrasound machine. Of course my concerns include seeing the heartbeat and confirming a viable pregnancy. By concerns I mean insane & nearly uncontrollable anxiety.
What is your EDD/ how far along are you? 8 weeks tomorrow?
What is the appointment (betas, confirmation, ultrasound, etc)? 2 week follow up ultrasound on Wednesday the 31st. We saw two good heartbeats at 6w1d and measuring right at 6w.
Do you have any specific concerns? Just the usual PGAL. As someone mentioned above, my RE said seeing two good heartbeats dropped our MC chance to 10% and will continue to drop after this 8 week ultrasound. My 1st loss was around 8 weeks though so even knowing we had good hearts Im very worried something will have changed in the meantime. I am finally wrapping my head around the idea of being a twin mom and i think i would be devastated to lose one or both, especially when I feel i have becoming numb to the losses in general.

*TW* Had my doctor appointment today and basically left with more questions. This was a repeat ultrasound. The first I meausred 4 weeks and 3 days. Today measured 5 weeks 6 days (should have measured 6+0) so size was pretty much on track. But there was no heartbeat yet. Dr does not feel hopeful at this point. We took betas today and I will repeat them Wednesday and we will go from there. Why can't this just be easy
@chelletn , sorry you had a rough visit. I'm right there with you... I am now left not knowing my EDD....but go back for more blood Thursday, and repeat u/s Friday. Hopefully by then, we will have more answers. In the meantime, the flu has hit our house. I need a respirator....or a bubble so I don't catch it.
What is your EDD/ how far along are you? I'll be 6 +2 Thursday for my first apt. Assuming all goes well I think I then have another apt. two weeks after that.
What is the appointment (betas, confirmation, ultrasound, etc)? First apt with all the paperwork and questions, and ultrasound to make sure things look okay. My roller coaster of appointments continues. Yesterday at my ultrasound I measured 5 weeks 6 days (should have been 6+0 so that was ok) but there was no heartbeat. They were pretty sure I would miscarry. I got betas taken and they just called and my HCG was over 40,000. They said that's a good number and seem a little more hopeful. Now they are repeating the ultrasound on Thursday. I could use prayers and good vibes for Thursday. These highs and lows of appointments are tough.
What is your EDD/ how far along are you? I will be 7 weeks on Thursday (day of my appt)
What is the appointment (betas, confirmation, ultrasound, etc)? It's for a dating ultrasound so they can confirm my EDD. I'm not a fan of having them before 8 weeks, but oh well.

I always get so nervous when going to the doctor, especially for pelvic exams. I am anxious to get confirmation that everything is okay with baby.
my appointment today did not go well. why do radiologists all seem to have such horrible bedside manner? Ultrasound has me measuring 2 weeks behind, I was expecting 1 week based on ovulation but 2 seems like too many especially with BFP on 1/2.
“Abnormally large yolk sack”, too small fetal pole, HB 60-90 when it should be 110. “You have a lot of red flags which makes this a high risk for spontaneous abortion, fetal demise”...seriously, wtf? Is there not a nicer way to break this kind of news?
So I get to meet with my OB on Friday to see what’s next.

@mamakate1616 I’m sorry your appointment did not go well. Radiologist are scientist who typically sit in a room and stare at pictures all day (I realize that’s not ALL they do). Many of them have very little face to face time with patients so they just don’t have that bedside manner practice. Hoping your OB appointment goes well Friday.
@chelletn fingers crossed and lots of prayers for your appointment tomorrow. Hopefully the ultrasound goes absolutely fantastic.
@mamakate1616 I agree a lot of these doctors have awful bedside manner and forget that theres a real live hopeful mom sitting there when they talk about sacs and millimeters. im so sorry the news wasnt what you were expecting, and hope your appt with your Ob gives you better answers.
I have my 8week ultrasound in about an hour and I am getting very anxious. Yesterday my whole office found out about me not only being pregnant but the twins (one coworker has two sets of twins so he was very excited and kept wanting to talk about it and the others heard).
