So excited we hit viability yesterday. Now every week I can breath a little easier.
What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves?
Nothing too much this week. DD kneed me in the stomach last night and I had a bit of a panic. I immediately took out our heartbeat monitor for peace of mind. I know she's basically too small to do any damage, but still a little scary.
Any upcoming appointments?
I think I have a checkup next week and we'll probably schedule my glucose test for the week after that.

We finally decided on the nursery theme and bought the crib. This next weekend is a little crazy, but hopefully the weekend after that we can start to clean out the spare room and decide on wall colors.

We are at 24 weeks today! Technically, we are due 5/21 but they are expecting a 5/7 date for us since it's twins!

Eh, it's a silly rant. Mommy friends of mine that feel the need to question items on our registry. "Did you know you have 2 pack n plays?" Yup, we sure do! We are having twins and they can't always share. Or "you don't need 2 diaper bags". Well, I decided we do. Again, eventually one kiddo will go with one parent or family member and the other kiddo will stay home or go somewhere else. But ultimately, I want to say, "How does my registry affect you?"

We actually scheduled the kiddos' baptisms last week. On Saturday, I got letters in the mail confirming the dates and it had the kids' full names. I basically squealed when I saw it! It seemed so real.
Sucha I get how that's scary! Glad everything's alright! It's so exciting to be getting the nursery ready
and thanks for starting this! The board has been deathly quiet.
Nhardler I can only imagine how excited you are for Friday!! Are you willing to share your names for the little ones?
How far along are you? When is your due date? What's the size of your LO? 23w3d! Due May 25th but measuring for May 20th! The fruit sizes get to me because some comparisons seem smaller than earlier weeks?

I go to a chiropractor but still get back pain daily. Also, increased cm! Crazy how much and how often liners need to get changed! Heartburn is making its return and I was feeling out of breath today.

In the meantime I made my first big shop for baby necessities this past Saturday. We don't have much space where we live but I was getting anxious to start since there's so much to get. After infertility and a loss I found myself unexpectedly scared walking towards the till... what if I buy all this stuff and we don't get to take baby home? I had to talk around a bit and breathe. It was hard but I went through with it! Reaching viability soon will hopefully help me to believe we'll take baba home.
@suchaglencoco I'm happy I'm not the only one who looks forward to viability! My husband things I'm so weird because I always celebrate hitting that point in pregnancy, but it really is a point when I start to breathe easier.

This week is the 2nd week of my schedule change at work, and I am here 2 hours later on Mondays now, which really sucks. But I still get off fairly early, so there's that.

This is my first 4th week check in, so I can't say it's new, but still, we finally picked a middle name! Naming our second boy has not been as easy as naming the first, and I really hated not having a name. It doesn't quite feel as real until they have a name.

- Ready to not be pregnant anymore. Lol I don’t hate it but I don’t love it. I was a little more into it with my first but still nowhere near how most women are about it. Other rant of the week is the 2yo tantrums...oh boy! The wrong color, the wrong shape, you looked at him, etc. And lastly, wtf happened to people’s manners?!

- I’m still hating all boy names (my son’s name was the one and only that I loved). But I think we have agreed to a name finally, though I still won’t commit 100%...poor unborn baby boy, sorry. Lol My husband made me do a gender reveal this time around so I’m making him keep the baby’s (almost official) name a secret from EVERYONE until birth which I know is bothering him. Lol

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? Busy back at work, also working on potty training with DS. We started on the 20th and he is actually doing great! He has a few accidents every now and again, but I know that's going to happen.

We bought the crib this weekend, and it is being delivered today, we still need to fix our ceilings in the bedrooms upstairs before we paint, so we still have lots to do to prepare for baby sister. We decided on a name, and we think it will stick... Taylor Joyce.

Battling a cold still. Just tired and my lack of patience for everyone is really shining through! Rant-I'm tired of everyone asking what I'm having. I kinda don't ever want to say anything to further annoy people lol I wanted to take a cute pic but my son and I have been sick and I have no desire to do anything.

No major purchases or nursery but we do have a name-Aiden Luke but will be known as Baby A because after a few arguments with my mother on previous name choices I've learned to just keep it to myself!

AFM also excited as a friend offered to do a baby shower for me after thinking I wouldn't have one! It's not that popular in South Africa so I wasn't exiecting one but it'll be fun!

23+5 due 5/26! Baby girl is the size of a bunch of grapes @babydreams88 I read somewhere that the sizes are sometimes based on weight and sometimes based on length so it can seem so different week to week

I officially can't cross my legs without getting uncomfortable anymore. And I keep forgetting can't really bend down the way I used to so that has been uncomfortable too.

We've done nothing at all! We're hoping to move out of this house before the baby comes so I'm not doing any planning until we know what our situation will be.
* I’m feeling okay. I can definitely tell I’m hitting the back end of trimester two. I’m starting to have some hip pain in the morning and finding a comfortable sleep position is hard. Also my breasts have gotten huge And it’s starting to cause some significant shoulder pain and occasional numbness in my left arm. So that’s fun.
*Had my 24 week appointment yesterday. I’m measuring two weeks ahead, which I think I did with my girls too. 28 week glucose test is scheduled (...yaaay)
* I’ve been MIA for like a month! But I can’t think of any updates. Still no name

What's going on this week? How are you feeling, any rants or raves? exhausted. Not from the pregnancy per se, except for the 2am wake up calls from baby rolls. But work is crazy, i have no time for everything, and I'm anxious to just get the nursery done andDH is just oblivious lol
Any upcoming appointments? had appt yesterday. Baby is good. Glucose test next week. And i have to schedule an appt with my cardiologist to check in to see if i need medication for SVT and palpitations this pregnancy. They have been nuts!

We are also moving in the next 2 months and to be honest I'm getting so antsy as I really want to start nesting! I'm afraid I'll be too big and tired near the end! Eeek. I couldn't sleep last night thinking about everything that needs to be done.
