If you are a
contributing member with a BFP this week, please share your success with us here.
How do you know if you're a contributing member?
1. Ask your heart if you have contributed positively here.
2. Do these people know you? Will they be happy about your pregnancy?
3. Have you offered support to others or have you just blasted your own info out there?
4. Really, if you're a 1/1 or a 2/2, maybe just move on. Even if you have participated daily for one month and offered tons of support. Sometimes the silence is kindest. Those of us who lurk BMBs will see your intro and PM/comment/love tit.
5. Again, take a moment and step away from your excitement and ask your heart if posting would be potentially hurtful.

Re: TTGP Grad thread week of-1/29
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? 17/20
What did your chart look like? I actually never charted in this whole time here since my work schedule made it impossible
What were you doing TGKU? Oh, you know, surgically removing my eggs and allowing them to chill in a petri dish with my husbands sperm
How was your timing? Egg met sperm 5 hours after removal
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I had a headache on 4dp5dt, but I get those sometimes when I am dehydrated. Well, I have been chugging water for days and the headache comes and goes. So maybe that? But I am on progesterone, so its hard to say which is causing it. Overall, all my 'symptoms' are the same as they have always been post-O
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? So back in May of 2016, a few months before we started trying, I bought a onesie with a bear on it because our nickname for each other is bear. I have had it in my underwear drawer ever since. My husband was away during the lighter test scare, so I didn't tell him anything. I didn't want IF to steal everything, so when I took the FRER and it came out darker I surprised him with that. I told him it was very tentative, and told him I have had some basically negative tests so I wasn't sure, but I wanted him to know that as of right now we were having positive tests so as on that day, I was pregnant, regardless of what happened tomorrow. He was so excited- he started looking up Baby Bjorns and everything all day.
Anything else to add?
Literally me
I think this board has saved me from myself. The amazing knowledge that is on here has kept me from going down the google rabbit hole so many times, and helped me be an advocate for myself when TTC wasn't going as it should.
Specifically the IF Crew- you are all strong, amazing ladies and I am so proud of you all for the all the pills, shots, appointments, vaginal dildo ultrasound wand after dildo wand month after month. You are all so strong and I am rooting for all of you to have a take home baby. I would never have made this IF journey without all of you and I truly hope for the best for all of you.

CD/DPO of first BFP?
Well, so this is tricky. It's been a rollercoaster of a week over here. My first beta was last Weds at 8dp5dt, and was 5, which is pretty much as low as it can possibly be and still potentially be considered positive. I went back on Fri at 10dp5dt and beta was at 9.
I thank all of my lucky stars that I have the RE that I do, because 5-25 is considered "inconclusive" by most RE's offices, and there are a decent number who would have told me to stop meds at this point as they would consider a viable pregnancy very unlikely.
Today, beta #3 at 13dp5dt was at 61, which is a fantastic increase, and is officially not "inconclusive."
Sooo, I guess all of that's to say, depending on your viewpoint, bfp was either last Weds, or today.
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP?
This is month 33, I stopped counting cycles long ago.
What were you doing TGKU?
Everything...then IVF & FET.
How was your timing?
As good as it gets.
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
I still don't have a whole ton of them, probably because my hcg levels are still so low. I've had low level nausea today and yesterday, but that's really it so far.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner?
No fun surprises here. He was anxiously awaiting my phone calls after I found out the results of each blood draw.
Anything else to add?
I'm by no means out of the woods yet, my numbers are on the low, low end and could drop off at any moment, but for now I am pregnant and I absolutely want to embrace that given that it's never happened before! I'm hoping this LGB continues to be a fighter and hangs in there for the long haul.
I cannot say enough how much the ladies on this board have held me up over the last 16 months that I've been posting here. The IF ladies are some of the strongest, bravest women that I have ever met and I don't know where I would be without all of your support. You've kept me sane when all I wanted to do was fall apart. I hope that I can continue to provide support and any knowledge I can offer to you all, but that I won't have to for long and that you'll all be moving on ASAP!
