I've been quietly reading along for a couple of weeks now. Just couldn't bring myself to actually write down that I'd had a loss.
I started bleeding 1/8 at 8 wks and completely miscarried 1/11. It was heart-wrenching.
We are a blended family, I have an older son, my husband has a son and a daughter, and we have a little guy together. I was hoping this might be our chance to have a little girl together. Our kids all knew about the baby and were very excited. We'd been checking the size each week and laughing about what fruit it was now.
I had a miscarriage before my first son and after 2 healthy pregnancies the thought just never crossed my mind. That was something that happened during your first pregnancy, I thought.
I'm trying to keep it together, trying to keep things normal for our kids, but I so badly miss being pregnant. And time feels like it is literally standing still We are TTC again but the HPT has only just gone back to negative. Hopefully that means this could be the week! Good luck to everybody!
