I'm really tired of Ursula, the 10cm corpus luteum cyst on my left ovary. Yes, I named it. I have been told by my OB, "don't do anything strenuous or exciting" till your next ultrasound (which is the 31st).
So, no sex. And just walking fast around the grocery store leaves it twingey, sore, and achey for days after. So I've been afraid to do the outdoor exercising I'd like to do now that the snow and cold is gone. Even just bending over, or trying to put on my left shoe, is a pain. And, still no sex.
Mine is super embarrassing. Like I don't even want to say this. I had to pee last night while I was sleeping and let some pee out before I got out of bed somehow. I guess I was THAT asleep that it took me starting to pee to wake me up but yeah...at 31 I wet the bed. I'm going to go cry in a corner now.
@calimom2524 don’t feel bad. I have the flu and vommitted all day yesterday. Well I tend to pee when I barf and I literally emptied my entire bladder on the floor!! DH had to mop it up because I was so sick! I never pee that much lol it was awful and embarrassing
Oh I have another TMI. I ordered a new toy yesterday and I cannot wait to get it!!! Since SO and I don't live together I can't rely on him to take care of my needs at all times.
@calimom2524 I had a dream over the weekend where I had to pee and finally found a bathroom. In my dream I peed, and then I woke up and made a mad dash for the bathroom. I was actually surprised I didn't pee the bed because I had to go so bad in my dream.
@melbel0824 I had a similar one over the weekend. I dreamed I had to pee, but was lost in a park and then I finally found a bathroom, and the sensation of actually going...I woke up suddenly to check myself because it felt so real, but thankfully I was dry. Weird stuff.
My nipples will not relax. Its bad enough that they are showing in my nicely padded bras, to the point where a student asked if I was cold 'as it seems a bit nippy in here'. FML

I've been coughing so badly that I've been peeing myself. Several times a day. Like more than a liner will catch. I've been considering Depends until the cough goes away because the sheer amount of laundry that I'm creating is unimaginable.
This seems like as good a time as any - do your kegels, ladies! (Don't know if I spelled that right and I really don't want to google it at work lol!)
Pity party alert : my 3 yo was up all night coughing. Every 15 minutes she would have another coughing fit. She coughed so much she puked. Took her to the dr today, luckily neg for flu but we just have to ride this out. I got no sleep and on top of that I have to see my whimpering 3 yo with a fever and it breaks my heart!

I'm seriously considering depends for sleeping and it makes me feel 80. I've always had excellent kegel muscles, I don't get it!
I have seen a pelvic floor physical therapist in the past and for me, it’s not the kegel but needing to relax more. Like, my pelvic floor is working harder than it needs to so when I really need it to work, it doesn’t. If you ever get the chance to see a pelvic floor PT, I highly recommend it.
@mozartsmuse I'm so sorry your DD is feeling so crummy! That's great that she doesn't have the flu though! @ladygali I think that I'm going to pursue the PT after this baby - it would be nice not to have to have the "do I need depends" convo already!
I will probably give this PSA 10 more times before we actually have these littles, but ladies, buy yourself some nice Depends and take them to the hospital with you. Those hospital issued panty things....ewww. I was like the coolest girl on the recovery floor with my fancy Depends.
@livinthesunnylife I heard to have them on hand as well in case your water breaks at home - Depends will catch everything much better than a giant pad.
And I lol'd at coolest girl on the recovery floor!
@livinthesunnylife I'm so hoping to go into labor on my own this time too! I had a dream induction and wouldn't trade it for the world but ugh! That was a loooong time to be in a hospital bed! Plus pitocin can suck it
Careful what you wish for. I was induced with L - ended up with a cs. With E I was hoping for an unmedicated vbac. I got it, but DAMN was it not pleasant. I had to bounce on the peanut ball on/off for ~6 hours to get her to drop enough for them to break my water. Once they broke my water I had 66 minutes before she was out. Not even enough time to get the epi. was not fun.

Yes for Depends! I liked them so much better than the giant pads and underwear. I wore them until the box ran out, even though I probably didn't need to for quite that long lol.

Aw I’m sorry your DD is so sick! I hate when my kids get sick, I feel so bad for them.
@princesslockness I didn't either. I actually liked the mesh underwear/pad combo from the hospital and only needed regular pads once I was home. I'm only considering depends for this weird peeing the bed thing!
I really liked the mesh undies too! I was a csection though so I feel like they cleaned up some of the blood before closing me up. I didn’t bleed nearly as much as my other bmb natural delivery Moms described

@princesslockness I didn't need the Depends for heaviness at all. The overnights were more than I needed as well. I just thought the diapers were more comfortable
@hardlyhannah I was a c-section too, and I've heard from lots of C-sec mommas that they kind of mop you up before they close you up, so we bleed less. Pretty much the only good thing out of a c-sec. My friend gave me a waterproof matresspad for our bed. I was confused about it until my water broke. Holy hell. But that was nothing compared to the night sweats plus leaking from literally everywhere postpartum. Tip for FTMs: Get a waterproof matresspad now. And, maybe incorporate a towel into your bedding set too.

All of this. I LOVED the mesh underwear from the hospital, I stole lots of them, and just used overnight pads for the first few days at home before moving on to regular pads. I actually bought depends the first time around, and I found them extremely uncomfortable. They bunched up a bit in the crotch in a way that rubbed against my sutures really painfully. And they were the "active" depends which are supposed to be less bulky too. Fail.
@hardlyhannah I have had both, and while I thought the cs would be less mess afterward, it was pretty even to my vbac. I was done with anything over a liner by 15-18 days ppd. @calimom2524 I gotcha. Totally missed the 'peed the bed thing'. I need to figure out whats up with me, I haven't been able to make it down the 100ft hall to the bathroom once I realize I have to go. Its gotten so bad I use the SPED bathroom and get in trouble every day. Oh well, at least I'm somewhat dry at the end of the day.

@westphilly ahh the night sweats! I don't think anyone warned me about those before I gave birth. We should start a thread for 'I wish I had known this' -postpartum edition
I smell dog shit somewhere in the house. I can’t figure out where it’s coming from. I’ve looked through the entire house at least 5 times now, and I’m starting to wonder if the dog crapped down one of the heating vents in the floor. Or the dog is walking around the house farting, and that smells like dog shit. I don’t know, and it’s driving me crazy.

Yes!! My water broke at 6am 3 weeks early. Was not expecting that at all. Luckily my mom had told me to buy one and it was on my bed haha
I loved the mesh underwear and took every unopened pair in my hospital room. I figured Ipaid enough for them! I wore them longer than I care to admit once I was home. My regular underwear hit right at my c/s incision, so the mesh were so nice to have for awhile!
I really liked the mesh undies too! I was a csection though so I feel like they cleaned up some of the blood before closing me up. I didn’t bleed nearly as much as my other bmb natural delivery Moms described
I had a CS and a bled, rather heavy, for NINE WEEKS. I think it depends on the person.

Fuck off, Ursula!
TB needs to take a page from Facebook and give us more reaction options! "Love it" doesn't work for posts about ovarian cysts!
