elothair I'm having a partial uterine septum removed ... As far as post O testing.... they will be able to tell with BW and US if you O'ed... Ive been in the same situation as far as travel in the FW. Once I had to come back days later to retest (i was pretty sure my O had been delayed, and i was right) and another time I was able to confirm O right away.

@elothair Welcome - even though it's a place no one wants to be, it's a great group of ladies. DH is on: 1 capsule CoQ10 (100 mg) A multi vitamin 2 capsules of FertilAid 1 capsule of L-Carnitine with Alpha Lipoic Acid
@beachbunnyxo123 WHOOT!! 7 is AH MAH ZING! Can't wait to hear the fert report!
@beachbunnyxo123 That is amazing news!!! @dragonette505 Thanks! Yes, my doctor had mentioned if AF doesn't show up 7 days after the first round of BW to go back and re-do it but I want to make sure I give it my best shot at getting accurate results. I wasn't sure if it would make a huge difference knowing when O happened or not?
@RVAmom315 Thanks! I am screenshotting that vitamin mix - I have heard a few of those mentioned before so will be doing some reading, especially is DH's SA comes back with less than great results!
@elothair Great! I hope you don't even need them All but the FertilAid are available at Walmart for a pretty reasonable price (well the CoQ10 and L-Carnitine - multi vitamins you can get anywhere!) The FertilAid I get through Amazon, and it is a bit pricey, that's why I only give DH 2 caps / day, makes them last longer (and DH is such a baby when taking them, I thought I'd spare him 1 less pill lol)
Thanks for all the hope and well wishes from all of you today. Got the beta back, and it's another BFN. Feeling pretty sad and disappointed right now.
I'm going to meet with the RE on Friday to talk about next steps and go over everything, and MH and I will take at least a couple of months off from medical intervention. We'll still be trying, but no more IUIs for the time being.

@kiwi2628 AWESOME!!! I love the nickname you have for your little muffin while you are PUPO. @dragonette505 I have people who are willing to help me with the PIO on an as-needed basis, but if I can get a medical assistant to be my go-to for shots on most days, that would be amazing. @elothair I'm sorry you find yourself joining us. Aside from the day 3 bloodwork, I didn't have to do anything to confirm O, especially while we were waiting for the other results. I would say to do everything you can before you leave and if your doctor wants to do other testing, you can put those off for the next cycle. @beachbunnyxo123 That is so, so fantastic that you got the 7, especially after such an iffy start to the cycle. Looking forward to the fertility report. @darkstar42 I'm so sorry about your BFN. I hope your RE is able to give you some good information to think about for potential next steps, even if you forego medical intervention for a while.

@beachbunnyxo123 yay!!! 7 is awesome! @elothair I don't think so... I found my doc really relied upon her own testing, but I enjoyed when I could say yeah I think I did ovulate (just for my own personal satisfaction) but the blood work and looking for the follicular cyst on ultrasound is what they go by. They are pretty used to women having no clue of when or if they o'ed darkstar42 ugh... so sorry! Sending hugs! Hopefully they can give you some insight (not sure if IVF or anything like that is in the cards?) I agree with @RVAmom315 Wine Chocolate and sushi for sure! @AlohaKumu that's awesome if you can have so many back up shot givers! Avrilmai Heeey! Yeah I just had to get through the holidays and my two (TW) mc due dates.... but I def missed my ladies on here!!!
@kiwi2628 I’m sorry friend. I wish I had the answer to your questions. It’s so tough, and I’m sorry to hear you’re feeling all the feels. You know we are here for you and if you ever need to vent i will always be around to listen
@emmasemm I wish you were able to get that advice from your doctor sooner as well. Did you mention it at all to your RE? sounds like your PCP really knows what she’s talking about. I really hope that you get a good report on Wednesday and I will be thinking of you. Hugs.
@50Wife my dosages were maxed out and I really didn’t get bloated. To be honest I really didn’t have many side effects at all. The strongest one was I was exhausted and the second my head would hit the pillow I would ass out hard. Like out cold till the morning. And I’ve always been a restless sleeper. I hope that side effect sticks around actually. GL tomorrow! Let us know how it goes!!
@RVAmom315 wow that is great news about YH!! So glad to hear that!!!
@shortstack930 I give you a lot of credit for doing your shots at work!! That was exactly what I was scared of having to do before we started all of this. You are awesome!
@Avrilmai I hope things resolve for you quickly! I’m so sorry you’re dealing with these delays. And I can’t believe your work made you go to employee health!!!
@jrm_14 that’s great that you still managed to lose weight!! And I give you props for triggering at 1am I would’ve been sleeping in my feety pajamas by then!!
@rallykat14 sorry that you have to get back to the appointments but glad to hear things are moving forward!!! Will you be doing a fresh transfer or freeze all? Will you get all of your donors eggs or are you doing a split with them?
@KristoKekerooni yasss woman!!! Finally!!! So excited for you to start let us know how it goes tomorrow. Is everything still straight and working out with your flights?
@dragonette505 hey girl!!! sorry to hear that you’re in limbo waiting right now I hope the time passes quick. I laughed at what you put for your “diagnosis” missed your sense of humor around here!
@darkstar42 I’m so sorry girl. I hope that some time off is helpful for you both and that you can talk to your RE about a plan.
@emmasemm well shit. I hope Wednesday gives you good news. If not, I hope your doctors can start working togerther
@darkstar42 sorry for your BFN. Sending you internet wine and hugs. I hope the break is restful.

How are things going?: beta is Wednesday. I’m cool, as long as I don’t think about it. Hah.
Any questions?: testing. I’ve not, yet. Can’t decide if I want to test before work tomorrow or Wednesday, or try to wait until after work Wednesday to listen to the voicemail. I can’t answer my phone at work, and I’m not sure I’d want the news midday anyway... Any input is appreciated!
GTKY: Tell me about a time you completely embarrassed yourself I had a student ask me if I had ever twerked. My response was “not at school!” Meaning, of course, that it was not a school appropriate topic. Sigh.
@kiwi2628, oh man, I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. I hear you, this process sucks majorly. Hang in there! People expect us to be excited, but you're right, it's not there because you're always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Every milestone reached just feels like it's delaying the inevitable. Sorry, that was downsy, I'm not helping. Hugs, girl.
In other news, congrats on your fantastic blast news!!!!
@emmasemm, I'm so sorry. I'm glad your Dr took blood, and I'm sending you my thoughts.
@elothair, I'm sorry you find yourself here, but welcome. I hope we can help provide knowledge and support.
I'm so sorry @darkstar42 all of the wine and hugs to you.

How are things going?: eh, add me to the pity party. I'm trying to remain positive and keep telling myself that it's still early, but this morning was another bfn (6dp5dt)... I'm 1) kicking myself for not listening and testing early, and 2) trying to remind myself that my body does everything slow. FX this is just one of those things.
Any questions?: Nope.
GTKY: Tell me about a time you completely embarrassed yourself. So, one time a few years ago, I drank too much and threw up in a cooler in a moving car. The embarrassing part? My in-laws were with us.
@dragonette505 hey!! I’m sorry you’re still here but it’s great to “see” you! I hope your surgery goes smoothly.
@zwink1 I’m sorry for the BFN. Hopefully it’s just too early.

@beachbunnyxo123 that's great!!!!! So we only get 6 eggs... Obviously the hope is she produces more than that so we end up with 6. There's a risk she doesn't produce 6 obviously or that not all fertilize. We will freeze all the embryos and try to transfer in April.
@zwink1Try to stay positive, it is still early! Oh that's a good one, I'm sure they don't look at that cooler the same!
@AlohaKumu omg I would absolutely ask her. I asked a nurse friend to be on standby in case my husband couldn't do it. It worked out fine but if I ever ran into a time that he couldn't I would have had her do it.

@emmasemm I'm so sorry for the doctor's appointment results and the BFN this morning. I hope it was too early and I'll be thinking of you on Wednesday. I wish I had more to say, but I just want to give you a big hug. And take you to a kickboxing class so we can kick and punch things.
@darkstar42 Sorry for the BFN. Lots of hugs for you. I know taking a break can be challenging, but I hope you are able to rejuvenate some. GL at the RE appt on Friday.
@kristokekerooni I'm so excited you are officially in your IVF cycle now!
@zwink1 We need a big group hug. I'm so sorry you got a BFN today. I'll still keep my fingers crossed for you as well.
AFM: Just dropping in quickly to say I got a BFN today too (13 dpo). I almost made it until Beta day (tomorrow), but I started spotting kind of heavily over the weekend, and it was driving me crazy.
@AlohaKumu I had a good friend who also did ivf on standby if I ever needed her to be last minute shot giver. I absolutely could not have given myself pio. Huge props to anyone who does it themselves.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): NTNP although I will be temping & using opks to pinpoint O.
How are things going?: for the first time ever, I want my body to O late. I need it to O on cd 21 or after. That way my next cycle will start after we get back from our trip and we jump right into an IUI cycle (and maybe if we could wait til cd 25, then it’ll be in Europe and I don’t have to miss more school right away for an appt when I get back).
Any questions?:
GTKY: Tell me about a time you completely embarrassed yourself. On our 3rd or 4th date, H and I were st the bowling alley with his twin brother (and his girlfriend at the time). I had bought us a pitcher of beer at the bar and was bringing it back to our lane. I didn’t see the step down into our lane, tripped, fell, broke the pitcher, and spilled the beer everywhere. H still doesn’t let me live that down.
Thanks for the love, friends. Now that it's here, I feel wholly unprepared. I stopped stressing about it and now I'm like WAIT! I DIDN'T STRESS ENOUGH. Which is obviously silly but OMG. Anywho, @beachbunnyxo123 , as long as I stim for the "average" days or longer (as int, stim for about ten days or more), then the flights will work. If I look ready after day 9 or earlier, I will have to move the flight up a day or two. But there's nothing to do but wait and see!

You guys! I had my first check this morning...my left side has about 12 and the right looks to have just as many (I don't remember if they said the number out loud). Both the nurse and PA literally said, "Wowwwwwwww" when each ovary popped up on the screen. I am so relieved and excited!!! I know things can change but for now - I'm fucking pumped!
@madspunk I'm sorry for the BFN, that sucks. But you seem to be responding better, right? Are you sticking with the same plan or moving to IVF for the next cycle?

So much to catch up on!! Just wanted to fill everyone in. So surgery couldn’t have gone better the doctor told H. Problem was when I woke up from the anesthesia I got really sick! From the moment I opened my eyes I begin throwing up went all day till about 4pm. It was horrible! The pain was totally doable! Initially when I first Woke up I had intense pain but it subsided after pretty quickly after the pain meds and was more like bad menstal cramps than anything else. Heating pad helped, but the nausea was horrid! I used to suffer from Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome and it was the only this I can Compare it to. During those episodes I’d be puking for 6 days non stop, no eating, drinking water nada. Many, many trips to ER during those episodes. I’d go into the ER and they’d automatically profile me as a drug addict when i was clearly not, it was really frustrating. I told Them to drug test me and Look at my arms no track marks. It was a really tough to diagnose but after changing my diet and meds I did Much better and haven’t had an episode in over a year now but yesterday it exactly what it felt like. H wanted to take me to the ER around 3 yesterday but I told Him no Bc they weren’t going to do much and by 4 I could keep down water, then tea and finally some soup. Today Im a little crampy but Advil is working for the most part heating pad is my bff!!

beachbunnyxo123 3 out of 5 is great! 50Wife so glad your ovaries are bringing their A game!! purplg8r hoping your cycles line up nicely for you... whenever I want to travel, I can be sure my ovaries will throw in a monkey wrench! madspunk sorry for the BFN.... zwink1 youre still pretty early... hoping in a couple days you get a different result! halfanewt I honestly don't know how anyone waits till beta to test! I am on a need to know basis! Also I just never want to be at work and get the result and if its negative I would be thoroughly crushed. Good luck tomorrow!
@madspunk shit. I'm sorry, girl! @halfanewt ah, I'm totally pro-testing to prepare yourself. But either way...good luck!! @zwink1 FX you just tested too early. @purplg8r I hope your body cooperates!! GL! @elothair the women on this board are absolutely incredible!!! It sucks that you're here, but at least you're surrounded by the best @beachbunnyxo123 great news!!!! I'm so excited for you!!
So I got everything back. AFC was only 10, so that's a bummer. everything else was fine except TSH, so they want me to start synthroid. It was borderline, which makes me feel like I failed. But whatever. So I start 225 Gonal/Follistim and 75 menopur today with my prednisone, LDN, and zpack.
I go back Friday to check everything and will probably start cetrotide then.

@dragonette505 hey girl hey! GL next week. glad your back with us (well you know what I mean)
@AlohaKumu um...no. Ask, the worst she can say is no, and it's not like you're asking her to do it for free, she may jump at the chance for some easy extra cash.
@elothair Welcome, I'm sorry you find yourself here.

"Some days are diamonds, some days are rocks,
some doors are open, some roads are blocked"
@elothair I don't think so... I found my doc really relied upon her own testing, but I enjoyed when I could say yeah I think I did ovulate (just for my own personal satisfaction) but the blood work and looking for the follicular cyst on ultrasound is what they go by. They are pretty used to women having no clue of when or if they o'ed
darkstar42 ugh...
@dragonette505 hey girl!!!
@darkstar42 I’m so sorry girl. I hope that some time off is helpful for you both and that you can talk to your RE about a plan.
@AlohaKumu how are the PIO injections going??
@beachbunnyxo123 congrats on 7! I hope bein a sound sleeper sticks around for you
@kiwi2628 sorry you’re feeling down today. I do wonder, too, if/when the excitement will kick in.
@ndz2018 hope surgery went well today!
@KristoKekerooni so excited for you!!
@emmasemm well shit. I hope Wednesday gives you good news. If not, I hope your doctors can start working togerther
@darkstar42 sorry for your BFN. Sending you internet wine and hugs. I hope the break is restful.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IVF + fresh transfer
GTKY: Tell me about a time you completely embarrassed yourself
I had a student ask me if I had ever twerked.
My response was “not at school!” Meaning, of course, that it was not a school appropriate topic. Sigh.
In other news, congrats on your fantastic blast news!!!!
@emmasemm, I'm so sorry. I'm glad your Dr took blood, and I'm sending you my thoughts.
@RVAmom315, fantastic SA news!!!
@dragonette505, good to "see" you!
@elothair, I'm sorry you find yourself here, but welcome. I hope we can help provide knowledge and support.
I'm so sorry @darkstar42 all of the wine and hugs to you.
Diagnosis (if you've been): MFI (OAT)
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): treatment
@beachbunnyxo123 I’m so glad everything went well!!
@dragonette505 hey!! I’m sorry you’re still here but it’s great to “see” you! I hope your surgery goes smoothly.
@zwink1 I’m sorry for the BFN. Hopefully it’s just too early.

@beachbunnyxo123 yes! That’s great news!!
@halfanewt I suck at waiting to test. Plus I think I’d rather know before I got the phone call.
@zwink1 FX it’s just too early.
Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, ovulation dysfunction You I’m
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): wto
Anywho, @beachbunnyxo123 , as long as I stim for the "average" days or longer (as int, stim for about ten days or more), then the flights will work. If I look ready after day 9 or earlier, I will have to move the flight up a day or two. But there's nothing to do but wait and see!

zwink1 youre still pretty early... hoping in a couple days you get a different result!
halfanewt I honestly don't know how anyone waits till beta to test! I am on a need to know basis! Also I just never want to be at work and get the result and if its negative I would be thoroughly crushed. Good luck tomorrow!
@halfanewt ah, I'm totally pro-testing to prepare yourself. But either way...good luck!!
@zwink1 FX you just tested too early.
@purplg8r I hope your body cooperates!! GL!
@elothair the women on this board are absolutely incredible!!! It sucks that you're here, but at least you're surrounded by the best
@beachbunnyxo123 great news!!!!
Diagnoses: RPL, Endometriosis, MFI (count, morph, DNI, DNAS, multiple bilateral subclinical varicoceles), low progesterone
