A/S tomorrow morning. Regular 20 week appointment Thursday. I don’t think I am excited bc 1. We already know the sex. And 2. We had appointments every week for 8 weeks straight so I’ve had so many u/s. I’m def not excited to go to a 7:30am appointment and then work until 7:30pm tomorrow. Long day!
Good luck everyone with your a/s! Can't wait to see some more cute little scans in June Bugs!
I had my 20 week appointment this morning. Baby girl was kicking so much during the doppler read that the midwife couldn't stop laughing I found out that the baby in the 23rd percentile for weight based off of the a/s last week which sounded low to me but apparently it's normal. And the midwife confirmed I have an anterior placenta. Still no bump to measure yet!
@kfren yay!!!!!! @becca_123 Baby girl is fiesty! haha And def don't worry too much about the percentiles for weight right now. My one friend (whos a doc) always told me with DD, that you don't want a 97th percentile baby cuz then you'll be pushing out a 10 pounder!

A/s on Thursday!!! It's not as exciting as usual because we are team green but it will be awesome to see babe. We are having a level 2 done so hopefully they can get all of the pictures they need in one appointment.
NBR but I have an eye doctor appointment this afternoon. It's a follow up eye test from 6 months ago to see if I have glaucoma. At 29. Yay! Hopefully pregnancy doesn't affect that stuff but they basically need to see if anything has changed in 6 months if they need to put me on daily eye drops.

@catlady1215 I've been trying to be careful about the sweets lately. Haven't booked my glucose test but all I have is sweet things :') Little Miss {omg!!!} loves chocolate milk, shakes and nutella lololol
My glucose test is Valentines Day afternoon. What a terrible time I’ve scheduled it at!
Maybe something more appropriate for the questions thread, but if you’re going to fail the glucose test are there ever any signs/symptoms or is it often completely out of left field?
@catlady1215 I'm sorry you have to take a 3-hr. Best of luck to you! My OB let me do the 1-hr. because with DS, I passed the 1-hr. at 14 weeks, but not at 28. You can always check with your OB to see if they will let you do the 1hr. first and go from there, but the downside is that you still have to drink that nasty crap.
A/S this wednesday!! Excited, but nervous to see DS again and hope all is well with him
Last time I went in for an A/S in my last pregnancy, was when we found out she passed a few weeks back. But had my usual 4 week OB appointment last week and have my own doppler at home and everything sounds perfect.

@doxiemoxie212 I didn't have any signs/symptoms at all prior to failing GTTs. I kind of expected it with DS because I had it with DD. When I met with a dietitian, she said that she had seven children, but only had GD with her 6th, and was completely floored.
@misskittydanger that was DS. he loved his icecream! and it didn't help that I was pregnant during summer... so icecream just tasted amazing obviously lol.
@doxiemoxie212 I didn't have any signs before failing either. just got to be one of the lucky ones. I didn't think they routinely did them till alittle later. Are you at risk at all? or your dr just getting ahead of the game?
@kfren sadly, this isn't my OB scheduling these. I go to an endocrinologist and she's covering this stuff. if I do pass this, I can't decide if I'd rather just do a 2nd 3hr and get it over with? or risk failing the 1hr, and still have to do a 2nd 3hour. I feel doomed though. we couldn't control it with diet with DS. i was on insulin. and my aunt has been a type 1 diabetic most of her life, so i think i just need to prep myself.

@catlady1215 Haha! I had soft ice cream {vanilla chocolate twist} on the weekend and little miss started kicking so much :') I wish it was warmer so I could justify going for ice cream more!! {oh well, chocolate milk, shakes and nutella are sufficient for now }
@catlady1215 I'm definitely not at risk at all, my OB just gave me a packet saying that they always do the glucose test at 24 weeks, which is roughly what I'll be at that point. IDK why they do it then?
@catlady1215 Boo. I'll keep you in my thoughts on Saturday. I think it's definitely a "prepare for the worst, hope for the best" kind of situation, but I know how tough it is to keep that mindset. Is there any way you endo would let you opt for an alternative (A1C, jelly bean test) instead?
@kfren we're also doing an A1C on Saturday. she already checks that twice a year anyway. maybe she'll let me just start finger pricking later, if I pass this. I'd so much rather do that!
@doxiemoxie212 ahh, i see! your doc is just on the ball then, that's all!

A/S tomorrow...we already know the gender, and because I go every 2 weeks they’ve already marked some things off the checklist but excited for me and hubby to see the boys again. Hubby hasn’t been to a scan in a few weeks so I’m looking forward to that part of it.
Feeling sympathy for all of you who have those long glucose tests coming up. My doctor had me do the 1 hour glucose test at 15 weeks, and passed, so I don’t need to do the 3 hour.
I go in for a blood tests on Wed, I'm 19 weeks. My next US isnt scheduled until 28wks and the glucose test is supposed to happen at that time too.
At my last US (15wks) our tech went through anatomy, but I didn't have a separate A/S appt. We are team green so we aren't waiting on the sex although I think the tech saw last time.
OB called this morning with my NIPT results. Baby tested negative for down syndrome! Thank you so much for your prayers and support. They meant so much, guys. Also, the test has concluded that our son will have a little brother come this summer. Baby #2 is a boy! Pretty exciting as we were convinced it was a girl.

I have a regular check up on Friday - at 4:15 in the afternoon. I really hope the office isn't running late. I'd hate to spend Friday afternoon/evening in a waiting room.

I had my anatomy scan this morning and everything looked perfect, and my cervix was nice and long (a concern for me after prior preterm labor). Baby BOY was jumping and squirming like a maniac. We did not find out the sex last time so it feels very weird to know, but I was already positive it was a boy, so not much surprise. Def still getting teary thinking about my son having a baby brother!! I also got the treasured baby junk shot, thank you ultrasound tech.
