I'm sorry to hear about the passing of a loved one! I'm praying for you and your family's loss. Talking to a child about a death in the family can be a challenge, but it's also important that we can communicate age-appropriate information about death to our children. Are you and your family believers? What I say to my children, who are 4 years and younger, is that grandpa has gone to be with Jesus and we will see him one day (my father passed away before I was even married and had kids). I say this because we are believers. You can also mention that grandma is resting in a better place. I hope this can help a little.
