I’m not sure if this is where this goes, but I have a question. If my cycles are normally 28 days (at least 3 in a row) and then last month it was 31 days, can I expect it to go back to normal? Or no way to tell?
I'll go first, weekend story about H.. We watch a bunch of the Nature documentaries. The last one we saw had a clip of how male mountain goats follow the females around during mating season with their big ugly tongues hanging out of their mouth. So now DH will follow me around like the goats to drive me crazy. Lol its so goofy. Am I the only one who has a weird SO?
@flyingmombula It’s hard to say. Most women have variation in what day they O, and have a pretty consistent length. It’s not unusual to have some variation and it’s hard to predict if it will change over time.
@galactickates DH purchased us each a variety of animal pajamas and does raptor impressions a lot so... no, your not the only one with a weird partner!
@galactickates Lol. YH sounds so funny! My husband is a weirdo as well. He tells a lot of stupid literal jokes. I'll look at the dog and say, "Do you want to go outside?" and MH will say "No thanks, not right now." *rolls eyes* It drives me nuts but I've come to expect his annoying responses. I do get irritated sometimes when I'm trying to have a serious conversation and the only way he contributes is by telling jokes. I have to work hard to get him back on track.
@galactickates my DH just breaks into song constantly. Like all the time. I usually have never even heard of whatever song he is singing and I'm halfway convinced he just makes them up. It's to the point now that I can sometimes predict what song he is going to sing based off whatever I just said. I like to try to start singing it at the same time because it freaks him out. Lol

@acciocoffee MH breaks into song all the time too! He'll randomly start singing something from an obscure Broadway show or an old kids cartoon and he can sing ALL of the lyrics. I have no idea how he does it. That's hilarious that you can guess what songs YH will sing and beat him to the punch! @emmasemm Yes! MH tries to wind me up too. Eventually I'll start to get really ticked off and I'll walk away.

currently, i am sitting at home drinking a bit o wine as DH lands in sun valley to go heli-skiing for the next 6 days. bad news = no DH for 6 days, good news = DH comes home at the beginning of my FW. fingers crossed for powder days and BFPs!
thats all I've got. for some reason i feel emotionally detached from this cycle as the disappointment has gotten to be a bit much. so for now, i enjoy my pinot and hope for the best! will be back on the daily bump grind as soon as i start SS. hah!

@holly321 That's awesome! Kids shoes are so much cuter. I'm jealous that they get sparkly shoes with bright colors and adult shoes are so boring. I can sometimes fit into kid shoes but it's a bit of a squeeze. @mommy_myers Heli-skiing? That sounds TERRIFYING. I could never. I'm not sure I would allow MH to do that. Hope the next 6 days go by quickly for you.

Since it's so slow... I would like to announce that I found my most favorite boots on the face of the planet. I've been trying to find these things/replace them for the last 6 months. NOTHING compares. Comfort = 10/10. Style = 10/10. Color = 10/10. Versatility = 10/10. Worn in and loved status = 10/10. It's been a cold sad winter without them. I put them on and poured myself a glass of champagne to celebrate while I'm packing.

@offtoneverland they were buried in one of the bags of shoes and misc items I had in the garage but couldn't access while we were selling our house. Also, I've probably looked in that bag at least 1,000 times. I think an elf must have placed them there. I'm just glad I have them back, they are "If a blanket was a boot"

Last night I was in the bedroom folding laundry when I heard my husband shriek from the living room. He came running into the bedroom hunched over screaming like Gollum, "MY PRECIOUS IS ON NETFLIXES!!" over and over while tickle attacking me. I was barely able to ask, "Is that what you want to watch while we eat dinner?" He immediately stopped and said plainly, "F* no, that movie is 3 hours long!!" and walked out of the room.

@galactickates, we used to have two male stud goats. They would make that face all the time and try to practice mating with the ducks.
AFM, I discovered I fit in youth sized athletic shoes, and I am pretty excited. They are cheaper and had some cute options.
