Congratulations @lucylou214! She’s beautiful. Glad you are both doing well thus far. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Enjoy your new addition!
Where did you see pic? I went to Feb birth announcements and I don't see Isabelle.
I could have sworn I saw a picture but maybe I have my wires crossed and it was a different birth announcement! If that's the case, then whoops and I blame pregnancy brain but I'm sure even if I got my wires crossed that the baby is beautiful.

Thanks so much for your support, everyone! Isabelle is doing well. She is still in the NICU, but the doctors are pleased with how she's doing, and that is definitely positive! We are tired, and it's hard staying both away from home, but also away from her. When she is stable enough to go back to our more local hospital, we'll be able to room in with her, which will be easier. As for now, though, we're thankful for everything we have, and that she has been making small steps! I hadn't shared a picture yet, but here is one! We are, of course, totally in love.
@lucylou214 I'm glad she is doing well! Hopefully she is able to move back to your local hospital soon! But as long as she is in good hands then I'm sure you are happy! And she is adorable! She has so much hair!
@lucylou214 I'm glad she's progressing well!! I hope you and your husband can get some rest, though I imagine it's hard. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers ❤️
Thanks for your support, everyone. Today, they took her off the CPAP machine and she did well breathing room air all day! We still have a way to go, since she is still so young, but we are making progress each day!
Hi everyone! Thank you for thinking of us! Sorry for being so absent here- I have been thinking about you guys!
Isabelle is doing really well, and we could not be more thankful. Because she is stable, we have recently moved her back to our local hospital’s Special Care Nursery, where we can stay with her in a room. Having to say goodbye to her each night in the NICU was just too hard on both my DH and me.
At this point, we are just giving her time to sleep and grow, and trying breastfeeding when she is showing cues or looking interested. She has latched and sometimes feeds some, but it’s super tiring to her because she’s still little. At this point, I am pumping every 3 hours and they are giving that to her via an NG tube (in her nose). This has been a super long and tiring journey, but we are grateful for the progress she has made, and the very positive outlook!

So glad she's progressing and that you both get to stay with her. Keeping you all in my prayers!
