Re: PGAL Check In 01/08
Any appointments coming up? Not until Monday, which will be a sucky appt with 1 blood draw and two shots. My everything will be sore.
Questions? Newp

I'm ok emotionally. Now that I am hitting 27 weeks, and high viability, I am starting to have "oh shit, this is really happening!" moments. Physically I am currently sick from daycare plague, and pretty pissed at my local store for only carrying "multisymptom" drugs. So I just decided to not go to work today, and am currently bored out of my gourd.
GTKY: Is anyone other than you going to be watching the baby/ helping you during the newborn stage? (Nurse, hubby taking paternity leave, MIL, mother, etc?) I am taking 12 weeks of leave, then after that my husband is taking 4 weeks of paternity leave. Last time with my DD1, I only had 6 weeks, and I had my MIL watch her for a few weeks, but she is in pretty poor health, and I worry about her capacity to react well to an emergency situation (she isn't allowed to watch my DD1 alone because she falls over if she even tries to pick her up. Not the response that is helpful in an emergency).

I’m not sure. I was supposed to have one yesterday, but ended up being in the hospital instead with contractions. Good times...
Questions?
none that I can think of!

this little girl inside me scared the crap out of me this weekend. My contractions were 2-3 minutes apart and not stopping for HOURS. So I ended up in labor and delivery and had to stay there until yesterday night for monitoring. I got the terbutaline shot on Saturday, and that helped a lot, but she was still going on and off throughout Sunday, too.
I’m so glad she is ok and stayed put!

My husband and my mom are going to be there for a week afterwards, and then I’m not honestly sure. It was always my mom being there before, but starting 9 days after my DD, she and my dad are going on a MONTH LONG cruise (must be nice!) of course that was planned for over a year, and my pregnancy was a surprise.
she asked me if i wanted her to cancel it!!! I told her to hush and to stop talking like a crazy person! Lol
