Way late to the intro party, sorry. I'm a farm mom in ny and this is my 7th pregnancy, 6th baby ( in still holding my breathe until we do the a/s, add that's where the problem was discovered before). In an "older" mom in ny late 30's. My official due date is ground hogs day 2/2, but I've always gone at least a few days early, so very likely i will have a January baby. My older kids are 16,14,12,10, and 7. This is my dh's 1st baby.

Hi everyone! I'M Kerry from Chicago. I have been cautiously lurking for a while am now ready to join the fun. I am a STM due January 15th. My DS is 12 years old so we are sort of starting all over. Long story short, my DH and I had our first when we were young and after finishing college, getting our dream jobs, and purchasing our first home we were ready for more babies. After years of trying and losses we are finally pregnant with our rainbow baby. Once we hit 20 weeks we let ourselves relax and get excited. DS is very excited to be a big brother. His questions crack me up everyday. Please be patient as I am learning the message board etiquette and rules. I look forward to getting to know everyone!

I'm Chelsea. My husband and I got married in January of this year and on May 1st, I believe, we got our BFP. I just sort of knew we were pregnant. We are 26 weeks now and due January 6th, but I expect to go past that date. I'm a FTM and we are excited to be expecting a baby boy!
I'm a mother of two expecting my third child with my husband. We are scheduled for 1/22, but have run into some serious complications this month, and I am now on bedrest until the end. I'm three weeks In. My other two pregnancies were easy and without complication, so this is very out of the blue for us. I thought I already paid my dues with my first two! It seems like I have already begun to experience some preterm labor contractions, and I am currently on medication to stop them and just received steroid injections for the baby's lungs just in case. Taking it day by day, but it's tough...
Hey ladies! FTM here. Due 1/30. At first I was told our date was 2/2, so I got started in the February board, but I think I’m safer accepting that she’s going to make her appearance in January! I was hoping for February because I’m a teacher and delivering early Feb would take my maternity leave through spring break! It’s now looking like I have to go back the Thursday before spring break starts.
Well hellllllooooo ladies!!!!! Super late to this party (totally forgot about the bump/blame it on the baby brain). I am Kristin, due Jan 27th, will have a scheduled c-section probably the 19th. Been married for 7 years. Born and raised from Chicago, but recently moved outside Cincinnati 3 years ago. I have an amazing little boy who is going to be 4 in February and this little rainbow baby is another boy too. Looking forward to meeting y'all!!!!

Hi @beany81487 - if you check out the "read this first/board organization" thread, I believe the first post has a link to a list of some of the common acronyms. I think at this point you'll mostly just see us using DH/DS/DD for "dear" husband/son/daughter etc.

I've been a member at BBC from the beginning, but the January club over there has gotten more and more ridiculous. Everyone just makes fun of everyone else. I hate it. The What To Expect boards are practically dead, so I figured this place looked actually nice AND active I logged in and it said thanks for being a member for two years. I had 2 miscarriages one in April 2016 (8 weeks along, baby passed at 6 weeks after I heard HB) and one in February 2017 (5 weeks, baby passed before my US I believe). I'm a first time mom so I really am blessed that this pregnancy has been perfect and I'm excited for whats in store in less than two months! Also I'm in Florida. I'd really like friends, maybe due date buddies or someone who lives in FL also

Nothing like a last minute curveball! Hi ladies, my EDD is actually Feb. 21, but I wanted to drop in and say hi because I’ve been scheduled for my RCS Jan. 31 at 37 weeks due to cholestasis. We are expecting DS2, DS1 is about 2 1/2. It’s going to be a party!! Best wishes for smooth deliveries and congrats to those who’s babies are already here!
