@pupsicle23 same. We had to do an ultrasound a week after birth, and then 6 weeks after as well as doing some hip exercises with her during that time frame.

I had a planned c section for placenta previa at 39 weeks, with instructions to call 911 if I went into labor before hand. All of the advice given above is what I would say. Recovery was easy since it was planned and I was up and walking around that afternoon. I originally wanted a VBAC with this pregnancy but I'm being switched to the high risk doctors so I don't know where they stand on it.
I would advise to take it easy the first couple of weeks after surgery. I don't know if it was the placenta previa or not, but I was so much more comfortable not being pregnant that I tried to do too much and it messed with a stitch, so now my scar is kinda funky.
