How far along are you? How big is baby? I am 15+5. Babies are the size of avocados.

How are you feeling emotionally/physically? I feel pretty okay. I'm still really tired. Ever since the holidays I've been going to bed around 8:30 or 9:00 (latest).

Any R/R/Q? No rants or raves today. Feeling pretty mellow.

This is definitely not an Oscar contender, but I watched the new Kingsmen movie on my flight home from the holidays and thought it was really pretty good. I love Colin Firth, though, so I may be biased.

feel good. trying my sweets again recently. not horrible, but not there yet. maybe that's for the better lol. emotionally, excited. I don't want to rush this pregnancy cause its probably my last, but I just want him here!

this effin weather is my rant. luckily no snow, but holy effin cold. I guess my rave should be that I can atleast hibernate since I work from home, besides running DS to/from school.

see above. 15 degrees right now, real feel of 0. tomorrow morning will have a real feel of -15 I think? I'm banking on DS getting a 2hr delay. but I'd loooove a closing.

we're not good at keeping up with movies. But we actually have been waiting impatiently for the new maze runner that should be out next month. I'm not usually into those types of movies. but Dylan Obrien

so I got hooked. we were upset it was delayed for soo long!

Any R/R/Q? Well, our flight was cancelled yesterday, so we're in CA. DH panicked and rebooked us on the 7am flight tomorrow, which I'm annoyed about because that means we have to leave my moms at like 5am. And I still think those stupid flights are going to be cancelled. And he's being really annoying about unpacking. He's like, NO LET'S JUST WEAR THE SAME CLOTHES WE'RE WEARING FOR 3 DAYS. Nope, I'm not doing that.

How is your weather today? A bit rainy/gloomy so far, but nothing like what we would've been in for in NYC! lol Apparently we had an earthquake last night but DH and I didn't feel it. My mom thinks we're nuts since apparently our dog barked her head off - neither of us remember.

I want to see Molly's Game! We saw The Post a few weeks ago since my mom worked on it. It was well done for what it was, but problematic given they could've made some different choices with the script. It was no Spotlight.

How are you feeling emotionally/physically? Good! I don't have much for symptoms which is good and bad. Also cant really feel baby yet, so it was really nice hearing a nice strong HB of 165 at my appt this morning. I have had some of the "eye twitches" feeling usually in the evening when my legs are curled up on the couch.

Any R/R/Q? All the raves today! The cat didn't wake us up playing with stuff on the dresser last night for the first time in like a week! We have been trying every thing, tiring him out before bed (even bought an automatic laser pointer), not feeding him dinner until right before bed, removed the mirror and sticky taped the dresser and for some reason last night he decided to stop being a jerk. I hope it continues. Also meeting an old friend from college that I lost touch with (actually some drama went down but the past is in the past) but she is also expecting and due in May so it will be nice if we can get to know each other again to have a mom friend IRL.

How is your weather today? Cold! Temp is 1*F feels like -7. Which is actually warmer than it has been for a couple weeks.

We don't really watch movies. Mostly because we can't agree so we will spend an hour surfing through Netflix or Vudu only to give up and turn HGTV and the Food Network back on. I would love all the suggestions though.

@LaceyBee522 I hope you're staying safe and warm in that storm! We almost watched the Kingsman last time we tried to watch a movie (see above) but MH said that I had to watch the first one first. Men.

@catlady1215 I don't want to rush the pregnancy either but I feel like things have been going so slow! I feel like it still too early to get into full planning mode but I about a month I will probably be overwhelmed with all the planning.

@doxiemoxie212 GL with the 7 am flight! That sounds awful especially because people always say "you can just sleep on the plane" and no I cannot. I never sleep on planes or in cars.

@LaceyBee522 - You make me feel old; I'm usually trying to get in bed by 7:30/8 o'clock, lol.
@catlady1215 - DSS's school is closed for tomorrow; between the wind chill of -35 or so, and the snow we've gotten, I'm not surprised. I definitely relate to both wanting to enjoy the pregnancy, and wanting the baby to be here already. I'm so excited for LO, but I also am just trying to remember that this will likely be my only pregnancy and to enjoy it.

How are you feeling emotionally/physically? Emotionally good, physically okay. Nausea is coming and going. One day I'll be awesome and not need any zofran, the next day I'll be throwing up even with the zofran. It's lovely. Having bad gas pains and constipation cramps if I don't take stool softeners and gas-X.

Any R/R/Q? Nada.

How is your weather today? Snowing, and freezing. Got 4+ inches of snow today, roads weren't touched on my way home and H is still on his way back to the yard and then he'll be on his way home. No school for DSS tomorrow, and my car is being a butt (transmission issues), so I'll probably be staying home with him. We'll probably end up with another 2+ inches overnight anyway. Super exciting.

@izza2 luckily we didn't get more than a dusting in western PA. But we'll be 20 to 15 below with the winds factored in. I considered sending DS to a grandmas house, but then I'd have to go out in it

and I don't want that.

@krashke I actually thought the holidays made it go quick. I haaaate jan/feb and dreary winter so I'm expecting the next couple months to drag now.
Love that you and the friend are reconnecting. Might just be the right time, with the babies.

@laceybee522 my nighttime exhaustion has gotten a smidge better. But I'm with ya, I'd still love to be in bed by 830/9!

@doxiemoxie212, that's funny that you both slept through it even with the dog barking. We had one here in AZ a couple years ago, and it was my first earthquake. Pretty underwhelming. I just thought that the dog ran into the bedroom door and my husband rolled over at the same time.

@krashke, maybe the cat is trying to prepare you for sleep interruption? Haha

@izza2, I'm glad your nausea is a little better. Here's hoping it goes away soon for you.

How are you feeling emotionally/physically? Pretty good! I've got a little more energy now, and my nausea is mostly gone (other than some fleeting moments when I eat too much too fast). I think I can start to feel some movement the last few days. It's that twitching feeling people talk about. But I have an anterior placenta (at least at my 12w u/s), so I'm not super sure.

Any R/R/Q? We got new carpet installed yesterday! So we painted the nursery last weekend to a neutral, light yellow (pineapple sorbet). And I went all crazy this last weekend on getting my registry started (and nearly completed) after my sister asked what registry info to put on my shower invites. Its all or nothing with me I guess!

How is your weather today? Amazing, sorry guys. It was a high of 78 today, and I took a walk across the street without a coat, got some Coldstone ice cream, and ate it outside. And we slept with the windows open last night to air out the new carpet fumes.

GTKY: We saw the new Star Wars movie, but it's not really my favorite thing. I am looking forward to seeing I, Tonya.

Y'all the cat came back with a vengeance tonight. I guess we only get one night of uninterrupted sleep.

@icecubeinthedesert I had a little chat with him that if this continues when the baby is here in the 2 hours I get to sleep, he will be finding a new home. MH says that because we will already be up so much at night he will get tired and sleep when we sleep. Also super jelly of your weather. I need a vacation.
