For the mamas with insomnia, have you tried Unisom or Benadryl? Unisom can also be used for nausea, obv check with doctor first but they're pregnancy approved/safe.
Ive taken unisom every night during this pregnancy to help me sleep and I swear it helps my reflux too, when I lie down. Doc cleared it for me. I like it better than Benadryl.
AFM I feel like I got super pregnant over night. Yesterday I put on pantyhose myself, today H had to put on my socks.

I mentioned socks were getting difficult... DH sent me a link to SockSlider.

I have to wear compression socks now, and they’re sooooo difficult to put on myself. I can’t even have DH do it. I’m afraid my hand will slip and I’ll end up punching myself in the face.
My hips hurt so bad I am officially in the I can no longer put on pants while standing stage lol. The completely random starving hunger is also increasing and one day I was literally more hungry when I got done eating than when I started the entire day.
@alemarie1 I've never tried unison but I second the Benadryl recommendation. Especially now that "winter allergies" seem to be a thing that is creeping in. I've never experienced this before but for some reason this year, I'm having what seems like allergies in the middle of the winter! Dry, itchy throat, sneezing, watery eyes etc. The Benadryl not only helps me sleep but it also alleviates those symptoms. If anyone else is having the same kinds of issues, I would recommend trying Benadryl before bed. I think the pills I have are 24 hours so I wake up rested and the other symptoms aren't a problem.
@clc515 I agree with PP, don't take the weight they give you at those appointments very seriously. They told me at 34 weeks with DS that he was 7 lbs 11 oz and was going to be a 9+ lb baby most likely. He was born 5 weeks later at 7 lbs 11 oz so sometimes they can't be completely accurate due to the baby's position.
@SarahFoley725 Are you monitoring your own blood pressure because it's been high at the doctor's office? I have some kind of bizarre 'white coat hypertension' thing and have for years where I go see the doctor and it's like 130/90 but at home it's usually 110/70. They've had me monitor my own pressures for about a year and they STILL put me on a very low dose of labetolol even though my readings are normal or only slightly pre-hypertensive. It's possible if you have high bp that it could cause dizziness or headaches but low bp does that also. Every time I feel like I'm dizzy, I'll take my bp and it's like 90/40. I've addressed it with the doctor and they keep me on the meds cause bp goes up in the 3rd tri. They were pretty spot on and now I'm usually around 120-130/80
+1 to a lot of the symptoms others are describing here, specifically hip soreness/pain and heartburn. It makes me feel good to know that these things are normal. I've been extremely nauseous as of lately and had a bit of a scare this week around Wednesday where I thought maybe I was having symptoms of pre-term labor. I couldn't hold down anything for a good 48 hours. There were no other symptoms other than a 99.8 temp (which is elevated but not a fever) and just feeling fatigued and bleh (probably from not eating). I don't think it was the stomach bug or food poisoning but basically EXTREME acid reflux. Periodic eating of a few crackers, hydrating and taking Zantac/Tums made it better very slowly. I've never experienced anything like this aside from when I needed my gallbladder removed so I almost called the OB after Dr. Google told me flu like symptoms + vomiting COULD be pre-term labor. I waited it out and it went away thankfully but who the heck knows what was going on. I'm hoping when I see my doctor on Thursday, maybe I can get some answers. I also have a weird suspicion this baby is laying transverse based on where I feel things and where there are two distinct hard spots on my belly. I'm crossing my fingers for head down but my first was breech and I didn't know it so who knows.
So yesterday I woke from a nap and my vagina seemed to hurt. Sorry for the TMI. So I took a mirror and tried to look but felt a small bump on the left side. Sore to the touch. Just feels swollen. Not sure what made this appear so quickly. Trying to ice it and do epson salt baths today.

Is it possible that it is a swollen gland or a cyst? I know that blood flow is increased when you're pregnant and can be really uncomfortable. I would continue doing the epsom salt baths and icing it but I would also consider putting a call into your doctor and maybe having it checked out just to be safe. It could also be an ingrown hair that is swollen. Hopefully it'll feel better/the swelling will reduce or you'll get some answers from your doctor! Good luck!

I'm leaning towards it being just blood flow due to pregnancy. Or maybe an irritated pore or hair. I did attempt to shave near that area recently and then I didn't shower for a day or so and had worked out/sweated etc. so maybe I didn't keep it clean and dry??
