@ndz2018 tomorrow, then probably again Thursday. Nurse said ER Fri most likely but MAYbe Sat. I thought for sure the Dr was going to increase my shots but my estrogen tripled in 2 days (fri-sun). So it's a good thing he didn't increase it when my level went down lol.

Twenty-two eggs!!!!! I'll find out maturity and fert #"s tomorrow! I have to do a freeze all because I'm an OHSS risk. Disappointed but I'd rather not chance it. I was bit expecting the procedure to be so painful - they maxed out my pain meds in the OR. I'm feeling pretty sore right now. I'll definitely be on the couch for a couple of days.

@tosh24 AWESOME!!! Can’t wait for the report tomorrow!! And yes I was really uncomfortable afterward too. They gave me fentanyl but honestly it didn’t do much. I actually had percocets at home from something else and they helped the first two days. Now I’m good with just advil.
@bpietronicco gray area is not out of the park so don't get too discouraged yet, I totally get the disappointment in it not jumping up like we expect BUT you aren't out yet. Keep hope alive, 3rd beta will be amazing.
@tosh24 woo hoo 22 is a great number. Hope you don't get the ohss, enjoy the couch and rest up to prep for your FET. When would you be looking at doing that?

@mandurz I am getting so much better. I still have a swollen stomach but breathing better, sleeping better (although I’m freaking exhausted). I have random back pain when sitting or standing too long.
I go back to work tomorrow so I’m praying it goes well.. bringing Tylenol extra strength and lots of water! I’m a dental hygienist and it’s still winter break here so there are loads of people on my schedule!
@bpietronicco don’t give up!!! Hang in there, Anything can happen! How was progesterone today?
@tosh24 holy moly girl! Hoping for great fertilization reports for you! I am sorry about freeze all but believe me, it’s worth it.
@krenee124 progesterone was at 22.5 now that I’m on the injections as well. I am praying that all is good! Part of me is worried that it was higher the last few days and is on its way down, but couldn’t test because of holiday. My nurse did say that sometimes first betas can be elevated and may not be a problem.
@ndz2018 Yeah, they gave me fentanyl too and it did absolutely nothing but take my headache away (from not being able to eat). Didn't even touch the ER pain! I was on extra strength Tylenol yesterday and haven't taken any since before bed last night. I'm still really tender but feeling much better today.
@bpietronicco I'm so sorry your beta is not where you were hoping it to be. I don't think you're out yet, but I understand the hesitation to be hopeful when it seems like the odds are not in your favour. Blood HCG only needs to go up by 30% in 48 hours to indicate a viable pregnancy according to literature - my OB told me that. Most ppl will double in 48 hours but that's not always the case. And you transferred two right? Perhaps both implanted and one was unfortunately lost causing a dip in your hcg? I sincerely hope your beta rises enough to give you some peace of mind tomorrow.
@krenee124 SO glad to hear you are feeling better! GL back at work
AFM, spoke to the embryologist this morning. Out of the 22 eggs, 17-18 were mature. She couldn't tell me for sure because we split fertilization between ICSI and conventional fertilization and they don't check maturity when doing conventional fertilization so they just assume those that fertilize are mature but can't say for sure about any eggs that don't fertilize. Of the 17-18 mature, 16 fertilized!!! I will get another update tomorrow. I was told two different things about my transfer - doctor yesterday said freeze all, but then when the nurse updated me she told me to start progesterone today and we'd do a transfer on Sunday. So not sure what I'm supposed to be doing. When I talked to the embryologist this morning she said sometimes the doctors say freeze all because on paper it looks like an OHSS risk, but that if they assess me in the days following and I am OK, they'll still go ahead with the transfer. So, just waiting for a call back to see what I'm supposed to do. I started my prometrium just in case.

RE confirmed today that I have to freeze all and not do a fresh transfer because I'm still an OHSS risk. Apparently the clinic has a protocol that everyone who has over 20 eggs retrieved has to do an automatic freeze all. I have an appointment with my RE next week and hopefully everything can be pulled together for a transfer the first week of February. Nurse said I have to stay on the prometrium regardless so that my cycle doesn't get screwed up.

@tosh24 woo hoo 22 is a great number. Hope you don't get the ohss, enjoy the couch and rest up to prep for your FET. When would you be looking at doing that?

I go back to work tomorrow so I’m praying it goes well.. bringing Tylenol extra strength and lots of water! I’m a dental hygienist and it’s still winter break here so there are loads of people on my schedule!
@bpietronicco don’t give up!!! Hang in there, Anything can happen! How was progesterone today?
@tosh24 holy moly girl! Hoping for great fertilization reports for you! I am sorry about freeze all but believe me, it’s worth it.

@ndz2018 also anxiously waiting for your update. Things will be great!
AFM was supposed to go for a monitor appointment but because of the snow that happened in Eastern NC both offices that I would go to are closed. Nurse said Dr wants to go to tomorrow but add ganarelix as a precaution today since they can't measure the LH today like normal
