We don't have anything crazy like wipe warmers or whatever. Huggies wipes are full garbage, we use pampers sensitive always because DD1 has sensitive skin. We use desitin only when they have a rash. Don't know if this is truly diapering related, but you want the Ubbi diaper pail, it is head and shoulders above the other kinds. Seriously NO smell when it's closed, and it uses normal kitchen bags. We have two (one upstairs and one downstairs). If you live on multiple floors in your house, plan for a changing area on each one.
Also second @delujm0's suggestion of having a changing area on each floor of your house. We bought some rolling IKEA carts and stocked them with wipes, diapers, trash bags, and also some nursing supplies (nursing cover, breast pads, nipple cream) and snacks when DD was still nursing. So helpful.
Disposables: We use pampers swaddlers at night and they are great. Hated huggies.
Diaper Cream: Grovia magic stick is great for the diaper bag because you don’t have to get it on our hands (it works like chapstick). Desitin really gets the job done for bad rashes.
Super recommend the Baby Bum Brush. I thought they were silly at first, but when DS had a bad rash and I was lathering him up at every change, I was tired of getting the cream on my hands. I wish I had bought one a long time ago! It’s simple and inexpensive, just get one!!!!
Wipes: seventh generation free and clear. Super strong and thick unlike others I've tried. They are $30 for a big package of 768 wipes, which lasts a few months.
Ditto to on the baby bum brush. So worth it and I wish I would have had it sooner. No matter how short your nails, that stuff always gets stuck under them. We use Bordeaux Butt Paste and that works super fast.

Twin B lost 11/22/2017, Twin A doing well.
Also I really liked having the nice thick diaper cream. DS was one of those babies that pooped every time we ate so diaper cream was important. We mostly used A&D.
Wipes - Kirkland brand from Costco are our go-to!
+1 for Ubbi diaper pail!! The thing is amazing.
Aquaphor baby or Bourdeaux butt paste always workd works great for diaper rash. I also used just coconut oil a few times and it worked wonders!
Also, good suggestions on the changing areas on both floors! We were in a one-story condo with DS, so only had one in his room. We moved and bought a two-story home over the summer, so will definitely be doing that this time around!

We use target brand wipes too.
Hates: desitin. It was too thick, and would up suffocating the rash, and was really hard to wipe off.
Loves: A&D, coconut oil, and Vaseline worked well on diaper rashes for us.
We tried Luvs for traveling, and they gave DS horrible diaper rash.
We used sposies (huggies were our brand once she got to size 4 cause they have these diapers you can just pull up/down.) before size four we used Babyganics- but with next baby we will be using el cheapo Target brand.
But the ticket to our diaper rash free sucess I like to attribute to cloth wipes.
They work high and above better than disposable wipes. When I watch my sisters kids and use their sposie wipes- ugh! The difference is extreeme! We had a combo of flannel, cotton and bamboo wipes all of which added up to about 30-40 bucks. Good thing is we still have them do this go round they are paid for!
from there we made a wipe wash out of water, and Dr. Bronners Baby soap (liquid), sometimes a bit of olive oil but we eventually cut that part out. That’s it. Water down the soap majorly and wala!
For outtings you bring a bunch of wipes and a spray bottle of the soap mixture. Wet the wipe and go.
We did need wet bags to contain the used wipes till wash day. But when my daughter got older they became great for trips to the lake or the pool to contain the wet clothes and we are still using them.
And should add: for my daughter we never wiped her inner labia. If poo got in there we used a cue tip to fish it out of the inner lips. Soap, in general, shouldn’t mess around with the vulva.
Before bed or any car ride we would slather her up with Bordeaux’s butt paste.
I’m actually a br excited to break my wipes back out. Oh! And we did have a wipe warmer, it was vey nice in winter as we live in a drafty home and those wipes got cold cold cold! And it wasn’t super expensive. We got Lionheart brand from walmart for $20.
