I am happy to say everything is looking great and I had a half hour long ultrasound that made me fall in love! The baby was moving all around and they measured and checked what they could for almost 12 weeks. I had to go because of testing for a heart defect and I have another one in February that will tell me for sure.
My 10w apt was Tuesday and I did the Panorama genetic testing at that time as well. I’m sitting on pins and needles for the results! Praying no abnormalities (my daughter had a few on ultrasound- this test proved NO defects. So I’m grateful to be doing this test early on with this pregnancy) and excited to find out the gender! Hopefully early next week! As usual.. my babes don’t like to face the “camera” so this is the best we got on 4D but I do love seeing that little leg and arm!
@buddins22 - Do you have any other kids with heart defects that they're testing for it? I'll go for a fetal echo as well in February as DS2 is has a complex CHD. I hope your results come back clear!
First Son - born 2013
Second Son - born 2014 - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). First open heart surgery at 5 days old. He's had 3 open heart surgeries and several other procedures and is currently doing amazing. Third Son - due June 9, 2018
@mytinc I’m a FTM, but my sisters daughter had transposition of the great vessels and had heart surgery a few days after being born and didn’t survive. They found out at the ultrasound at 20 weeks then they did the echo at 22 and confirmed it. The surgery is usually pretty successful, but she had heart attacks during the surgery and it was too much for her so she didn’t recover. It “could” be genetic but there are other risk factors and my sister had thyroid cancer before that pregnancy and a few other issues so it could have been from those too or just a fluke thing. My first round of bloodwork and the ultrasound showed low risk for downs and heart defects, but I’m still getting the test to confirm in February since it was too early to see the chambers and everything.
Our little lady at 12+3! Dr guessed it was a girl and our genetic test results came back last Wednesday and confirmed she was correct! I’m 14 weeks exactly today ❤️
Finally had my first US at 12 weeks. I am currently 12w2d and baby is measuring on point at 12w4d. We were so thrilled to see this little guy or girl wiggling around! Such a relief.

Thank you for sharing these amazing ultrasounds everyone! It’s so exciting to see such perfect little babies! I didn’t get an ultrasound at my 12 week appointment because I’d already had one at 9 weeks. It’s amazing to see how much they develop.
This is is my first pregnancy.
I saw some people post about their losses and it makes me grateful for this community and the willingness to share our experiences whatever they are. Miscarriage should never be hidden in shadows. The willingness of you ladies to be vulnerable and share this joy and the worries and the concerns and the tears is helping me process this little surprise baby and this experience moving forward.
Late but here is my scan at 10w3d! (I'm now 12w5d) Apparently my uterus is tilted so it was hard to get a good image of the baby but we saw the heartbeat flickering nice and strong, and baby was measuring a couple days ahead. Only sad part is I most likely won't have another ultrasound until the anatomy scan. Last time seeing this jellybean for a while!
I love looking through this thread at all of these precious babes! Here is our u/s from Tuesday @ 15w. Doctor didn't measure anything so I don't know how I'm measuring but I love this picture she got!!

"Dear Lord, I would have loved to have held my babies on my lap & tell them about you, but since I didn't get the chance, would you please hold them on your lap & tell them about me?" All are welcome!
Baby was 12w2d with a heart rate of 177. This is our first little miracle and we can't wait. We opted out of the genetic testing, so won't find out the gender for another six to eight weeks.
I had my follow up appointment with MFM today to check on the subchorionic hematoma. Turns out it's 100% fully absorbed and got to see this little girl squirming around. Tech said she was in a difficult position and was all curled up with her arms covering her face but this was the best shot I got - she looks kind of creepy if you stare at her face for a while! HR 135 and weighs 4oz, apparently right on track for 15+4.
4D at 13.6 today. NT came back within normal range and baby cooperated so they saw stomach, kidneys, four chambers in his/her heart. We opted out for the genetic screening but will be getting a fetal echo and extra time spent looking at the heart at the anatomy scan due to big brothers heart defect. at
