GTKY: Where would you spend all your time if you could?
Re: PGAL Check-In: December 27
GTKY: Where would you spend all your time if you could? Washington Square Park is one of my favorite places. Give me a book and time to sit in the fountain on a sunny day, and I'm set!
GTKY: Where would you spend all your time if you could? Locally, someplace in the desert like Yucca Valley or Joshua Tree... globally... on the shore of the Mediterranean...
@ashtuesday I need to check out that spinning babies!!! im so out of shape AND my baby is breech...good for you!
Happy new year everyone!

31 weeks today!
Nothing until the second week of January, and I have 3 appointments that week.
Pretty good. I’m nesting so hard omg. I’m so ready for it to be time for her to just be here. I hate the third trimester for this reason!! It’s just a hurry up and wait game.

I don’t even know. Anywhere I can peacefully read or crochet would be nice. Although I’m perfectly fine staying at home with my little guy
edited to clarify.
31 weeks
I had an appointment today and will now have them every two weeks. Things are fine. Baby Boy has a strong heartbeat and decided to show off and flip to sunny side up for my appointment after two days of sitting transverse. He’s back to mostly transverse tonight. I talked to her about the massive pelvic pressure I’ve had, and the long ((20-40 minute)) contraction/tight belly I’ve been getting. She offered to check my cervix to make sure nothing had changed—all was good. And then told me to go into L&D the next time the contraction happens and it’s getting close to the 20 minute markdown observation. Better safe than sorry.
I’m doing okay but I have conflicting emotions about the deal of monitoring at L&D. I know that it’s good for them to be so serious about my care, but we don’t have family here and I have a two year old. Most of the time I get this at night at or after DS’s bedtime and it’s just hard.

Well I love the beach and I miss where I grew up. MH and I would like to have a small farm one day when he retires. We would like some land. Mostly though, wherever my family is, is where I want to be.
@ashtuesday I definitely need to be more consistent with my spinning babies exercises. Thanks for the reminder! I’m glad you had a great shower and that you finally get to start getting things ready for LO.
@senora76 I’m glad that you survived Christmas and that the New Year is already exciting for you with little Nova on her way. She still has time to turn—try some spinning babies.
@BrittnieMariee I feel the same way—I’m so ready for it to be March... as soon as I finish setting up the nursery, DS’s big boy room and cleaning up from the Christmas aftermath. Not to mention the closet organization on my list. Lol. But I started packing the hospital bag yesterday with some newborn clothes!
Good, just still very anxious about kick counts. Kicks are definitely changing in intensity and that makes me nervous, but from what I read it can be normal. Back and rib pain is real. Getting tight on space over here! Made my lists of things I need to purchase, hospital bag stuff for us both, and everything I still need to accomplish nursery, home, and family wise. Whew!

The beach in CA with my family.
@chasingroygbiv I hope everything checks out okay at your growth scan! I don’t do kick counts as long as I’ve felt her moving around at some point during the day. She definitely doesn’t move around as much as she used to. Now she just stretches all the time and that’s real fun lol
@chasingroygbiv Hit me up if you come to to the beach in CA! Hope all goes well with the growth scan... our baby is also measuring small, but she's proportionate and on her own curve so the specialist isn't too concerned. Jose and I aren't huge people and Mars was born 5lbs15oz at 38w4d. I don't make big babies - my first two with my ex weren't huge either.
