    I have my 34 week OB appointment tomorrow. I’m pretty sure they’re going to bump me up for the every other week visit after tomorrow.  (Which should only be one of those because I think they’re supposed to start seeing you every week by your 36th). I had a dream last night I went in for my appointment and they wanted to induce my labor. They were about to break my water and I asked “can’t he just come out naturally!?”.

    Went in for my weekly appointment at 37 +4 today. Everything is mostly good! My diastolic BP number is slightly elevated but still within normal range and since I don't have any other symptoms my OB isn't worried about it at the moment. Baby's heart rate was good and I don't think they measured fundal height this time. Had my first cervical check and I'm 2cm dilated and 50% effaced with an anterior positioned cervix. Next appointment is a week from today!

    Appointment today at 37+4. BP and baby's heartrate are both awesome, and I had another cervical check because of all the contractions I've been having the last week or so. I'm only 50% effaced with no dilation so I'm still feeling really discouraged. Feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever at this point! With the New Year's Day being next week, they couldn't fit me in until next Friday-I'll be 39w.

    I was tentatively scheduled for an induction tomorrow morning at 7:30am due to my swelling at my appointment last Friday and elevated BP for me (even though it is in the normal BP range).  Well over the weekend, my swelling completely disappeared, thank the baby Jesus! I have my normal calves, ankles, feet and toes back lol.  So I called this morning and said I would rather let things happen naturally, so I will be seen Thursday at 1pm unless I go into labor before then.  I will be 39+3 on Thursday and due Monday on New Year's.  I was 2-3cm dilated and 80% effaced last Friday and legit thought I was going into labor on Sunday, but it was a false alarm.  We will see what this week's check brings and what the doctor says on Thursday and make our plans I assume for her eviction.  The weather has turned SO cold in Maryland, so I am chalking it up to her not wanting to leave her warmth for the cold hahaha!

    Had an NST this morning. She passed fast so that was nice and better than last Friday when I almost had to go to L&D for an ultrasound because all the ultrasound places were closed. Friday I have a BPP and a growth scan and an OB apt.

    Had our 39+2 week appointment today. Cervix is still thinning and soft, but still no dilation. I asked when we would start talking induction and dr said next week if things look "favorable, if not then the week after. I'm going to need some change to start happening down there ASAP!

    Had an appt today- 1cm and cervix is “super soft”. Excited for progress! She also mentioned my labor should be pretty quick because baby is in an optimal position and to not dilly dally at home once contractions hit 5min apart- eek!

    39+1 today, due next Monday. Still at 3.5 cm and 70%effaced. She could feel LOs head and said no hair! I had no hair till 2 so poor thing might take after me. Talked about induction dates for next week if she doesn't arrive before then. Scheduled for NST and ultrasound on 3rd. Might also induce this Friday. My fundal height was measuring behind, which has only happened once before. Otherwise, my fundal height has been spot on. But I know that could be for different reasons.

    Had a lovely discouraging 38 week appointment this morning (will be 38 weeks tomorrow) where I have no progress from 36 weeks! But baby's HR was great and still measuring on track! I've had this gut instinct I'd go a little earlier than due date but I think after today I'm going to need to change my mindset lol

    @leeeahyo sigh. I’m right there with you. For real thought I was having a December baby! New goal is ‘avoid pitocin’.

    @jakobaby I was thinking New Years for us because it was something a nurse said very early on and it's been stuck in my head ever since. Was also betting on the full moon January 2 but I'm going to just try to push these things out of my head. I'm not due until the 11th and I went late with DS so it's all just wishful thinking. Fingers crossed you can avoid pitocin and things happen on their own for you!

    Had my 39 week appointment today. I’m dilated 1, 50% effaced and the midwife said my cervix was soft “like butter” lol. She said she was very optimistic that cyotex would put me into active labor and we were supposed to check in tonight for the half assed induction plan. Got the call that we got bumped to tomorrow night, which is a bummer. We’re doing a 36 hour date though since we know it’ll be a while before we’re this we’ll rested again lol. Tonight we’re doing dinner at a hibachi place, tomorrow a marathon movie day at the theatre before checking in at the hospital (hopefully we don’t get bumped again).

    @JuliaGoolia719 Super jealous of your date night at hibachi!  (and slightly jealous that you get your baby in the next few days!) I hope all goes as planned and you are holding LO soon!

    Had my 38 week appointment today.  Everything is unchanged since last week... Baby is doing good, I am dialated 1.5 cm but cervix is still thick.  Scheduled induction for 1/11 which will be 40+1.  So ready to be done, especially with this awful cold.

    38 week today... although I’m a bit past. Darn holidays lol
    my FMLA paperwork is due but with the holidays I completely forgot to give it to my doctor and now the person who is supposed to fill it out is out on vacation. Why does all this crap have to be so stressful

    36 week appointment today and my BP has decided to creep up. I did take it the other day and it was normal, so I’m blaming the coffee and coffee cake I had for breakfast. This wins me a trip in tomorrow to get a quick blood pressure check. Otherwise little miss is head down and hanging out with her toes in my ribs. The nurse practitioner I saw was laughing at how much she was rolling around. Next appointment at 38 weeks. And she had better still be in there for it :D

    Quick BP check tomorrow morning for me. I spent the afternoon at L&D to monitor some contractions and my BP was a little elevated when we got in (but it went back down after a few minutes) but they want me to check it in clinic just in case since I don't go back for an appointment until next Friday.

    37 week appointment today. Fluid was normal, NST and BPP were both good. Measuring 7lbs 7oz now. My OB called Little Fatty a "cooperative baby" :) Oh, and I'm GBS negative! Hooray!

    @schaze I just came in to update that! Mine was spot on! I did have to sit there for a while though because The doc had to sign off that it was good and had gotten called into the OR.

    I’m 38.2 and I was checked this week (Wednesday) for the first time and cervix was 1cm dilated, soft but thick so no signs of labor here. I had a lot of bleeding afterwards and have been cramping and spotting since which isn’t fun at all. I’m so ready but I have a feeling this little girl plans on staying until she is evicted. Ugh.
