After @leilaquinn ‘s scare, my heart officially jumps into my throat whenever I see a new post on the birth announcements thread. I hope admins sticky that soon!
So I broke down and went to Motherhood maternity this weekend... I bought two pairs of underbelly Jessica Simpson jeans and six shirts. Now I need this wardrobe to last me until March
@mdfarmchick I've been wanting to go there so badly but the only one near me is in the mall and I absolutely refuse to go anywhere near the mall this time of year!
Currently waiting during my glucose test. I feel like a bag of shit and could fall asleep any moment. Stupid drink. Mine was lemon/lime. I hear there are some interesting flavors out there!
I was grabbing lunch with a friend this afternoon and decided I wanted soup. On the way out of the cafeteria I dead-ass looked at my friend and said, "I need soup cookies. Where are the soup cookies?" She thought I was having a stroke. I meant crackers. Y'all pregnancy brain is alive and well over here!
@crossfitbabybump I keep hearing thay about the orange, so I'm ok with what I got. I haven't heard anything yet, hopefully tomorrow morning.
@bravoandprosecco 1st of all I keep meaning to say how much I love your username!! 2nd of all, sorry you feel like crap. Fingers crossed all goes well with your test!
All I have to say re:glucola is that all of them suck but I especially hate cherry. It takes like an especially syrupy huggy fruit drink from when I was a kid. How did I ever drink those?!

Cherry glucola sounds like instant indigestion that was probably developed by a man that has never been pregnant.
Ya, so you guys know how I said I wasn't really contracting much with this pregnancy? Well, the moment I said that they started and have stuck around. That's how my body works. The moment I think one thing it changes up on me. (Just so you guys know this is my normal and with my cerclage and monitoring they don't do anything. Just lots of pressure and annoying at times when you really need to move.)
I'm exhausted and it's only 9:30 but I'm staying up another hour to feed the dog at 10 and then dose my husband with his pain meds and antibiotics at 10:30. I don't know why he decided to start an extensive dental treatment plan when I'm 28 weeks pregnant but I'm trying my hardest to be a good nurse! Luckily the threenager actually went to bed on time for the first time in months so hopefully I can pass out soon too.
Starbucks for breakfast... DS woke us up super early two mornings in a row and I’m just saying, MH may not have thought through letting the pregnant hungry lady order on the app.
My husband did a Costco run yesterday, and I asked him to buy a pumpkin pie because I had a craving. I then only had a couple of bites of a tiny sliver, and now he keeps following me around reminding me there is a gigantic pie in the fridge that I requested. Sorry, I just wanted a bite.
@amylonghorn I saw those on the back of our cereal box and I need them in my life. Maybe not though because Christmas cookies.... and all of the sweets. Ugh.

My husband is considering getting his wisdom teeth out in early 2018. Really? Why now.... UGH. They don't bother him but some of his bottom front teeth are getting more crooked which would involve some sort of braces. The idea is wisdom teeth out to make space, then braces on bottom teeth. And 3rd trimester with a toddler is the perfect time to start this. Men....
@day38 On the other hand, recovery for wisdom teeth doesn’t take that long, and I’d rather have him out of commission for a week now rather than after the baby comes.

Yeah @day38 I had a pretty bad wisdom teeth removal experience (not that any are good)--I think all 4 were impacted and it was painful AF, but even with that I was pretty much back to normal activity within a week or less. If they are impacted and they get further impacted over time, it could be worse to do it later + take more time to recover if he waits.
I had mine out (also fully impacted) and I was fine within a week - so that is definitely preferable now to later.
However, what bothers me is that he doesn't actually need any of this. The reasoning is 100% cosmetic. He just wants his bottom teeth to look a little better. And they're really not bad (and the whole 1 crooked tooth thing isn't even visible), if it was me I'd skip the whole thing. This isn't even being suggested by a dentist, it's all coming from him.
At my OB appointment this morning their scale showed me as 6 lbs lighter than my scale at home and I passed my 1 hour glucose test. Wahoo! Im going to celebrate with a homemade cinnamon roll (and stick my scale back in the closet haha).
@baybeesunflower - Okkaayy.. umm.. I just realized I said Orange is the worst and I meant the fruit punch flavor is the worst. Not sure why I typed orange, lol. Gah I need a nap hardcore today.

Hahaha! I had no idea they had fruit punch! My place only ever has the lemon/lime. It was like spurt without bubbles and thicker
I had the orange flavor and it really wasn't that bad. It tasted like a flat Orange Crush soda. I feel like I may have taken mine a little early? I was at 24w5d. I passed it, but now I'm wondering if I may develop gd in a few weeks.. because my results were like, super close to the cusp. *fingers crossed
@syssa-o I love Starburst. Where did you find these gummy starbursts???
Woohoo! My cervix decided to hold steady at 2.3cm. So, as it's still too short for comfort, it hasn't shrunk. My doctor said keep with the progesterone and restricted activity. Obviously still not out of the woods, but good news overall!
@syssa-o you COULD argue your'e doing a DS a favor... if he starts to like or favor the yellows, he'll never be disappointed like the rest of us when there's only yellow left! (;

Super proud of myself for not getting them.
But now, super regretting not getting them bc I want all the Cinnamon Toast Crunch bites!!
