Re: Weekly Symptoms 12/11

  • @MissKittyDanger thanks for the info. I was thinking it was gas but wasn’t sure.

  • Hey everyone!

I wanted to see if anyone is having RLP intermittently.

Im 13 weeks 5 days. When I sneeze, I get pain on both sides of my lower abdomen. I’ve also had a milder pain in the same spot when I roll over too fast in bed.

Is this RLP? Is there anything I can do to lesson it?

  • @bkrahn ooh girl i hope your back feels better. i'm going to end up going about once a month and i've scheduled them a day or two before my OB appointments just for peace of mind.
  • @helenbz I also get RLP when I get up or down too quickly, roll over weird in bed, etc. The best thing I found to ease it is just to move more slowly and mindfully and try to avoid positions that seem to aggravate it. Later in pregnancy, I know some people swear my maternity support belts, but I haven’t needed one of those.

  • @marcus7676 it did for a bit. I'm worried it's probably more muscle or sciatica at this point since usually I feel much better after chiro adjustment.  If it keeps up after I do a massage I might just ask about PT and see if that route helps.  It is sharp shooting pain in my very low back, tailbone, buttock area.
We are so excited to grow our family!

  • Add me to the sensitive nips club except mine feel like shards of friggen glass! I tried some monistat on them to make sure it wasn't thrush or something and it only helped a small bit.
  • @glitterfingers thanks girl! And that’s a good idea! I definitely get the whole peace of mind thing
  • @helenbz sounds like RLP to me! I’ve been getting it since around 10 weeks and it’s definitely getting worse. The other night I coughed in bed and definitely thought I pulled something, it hurt so bad. Currently 16+2
  • My symptoms have largely abated, except my sex dreams have been getting bananas. Woke up this morning to one of the most explicit ones I've ever had, which led to the best morning bone of my life. Second trimester sex 4-ever.

  • Anyone else having sex dreams (and even sometimes orgasms in said sex dreams) but their sex drive IRL is still mostly gonezo?
  • @doxiemoxie212 I've only had a few sex dreams but they were good and I wasn't mad at them.

My real life sex drive is adios for now. I'm not sure if it's hormonal, the whole idea being a little strange for me, or the fact that I was scarred from the only time we've done it since finding out.  My mind was on the baby, I couldn't finish and then I bled. It wasn't the greatest time for me. Just wonder if that's more it than hormones in my case.
  • I'm still just so so tired..   So while my sex drive is right on up there with the vivid dreams... I pass out before DH even makes it into bed half the time. He works retail, so the last couple weeks he has had some very late nights & I just can't stay awake.
  • @MoonOverGoldsboro sounds like we had similar mornings.. :#
  • +1 to sex dreams but no sex drive.  I don't know if its exhaustion or what, but do not want.
  • I have had the increase drive since 1st tri and it just keeps ramping up.
  • Had the highly publicized bleeding gums today.... while brushing. Hoping that one doesn't stick around!
