Happy Hanukkah tomorrow! I hope everyone is doing well, and surviving the holidays.  Only 10 working days until Xmas, and I am hoping I survive since we are incredibly slammed at my workplace.

    How far along are you?  19w6d almost halfway!

    Any appointments coming up?      I have an OB appt today and then nothing until my FL appts in 2 weeks!!

    Questions?      Nothing at the moment.

    How are you doing? (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here)      Doing okay.  Just so ready to go to FL.  I am both excited and terrified.  Terrified because that's when I will have my echo and fetal MRI and I am still scared they will find something else wrong.

    GTKY:  What is your favorite  holiday food/candy?  Any special reason you love it, or is it just freakin delicious?     Hmm that's tough.  I can't think of a specific holiday food!

    @sparklingdiamond I am so excited for you that you are seeing the Florida specialist soon. I have my fingers crossed that you will get hope and answers that lighten your load for the second half of your pregnancy.

    @sparklingdiamond I don't blame you for having nerves for the FL appt.  Are they going to try to get a better view of the baby's diaphragm in the MRI, or is this all about the heart?

    @ngolimento The echo will focus on the heart.  The MRI will tell us what all is actually up in the chest cavity and is way more reliable than u/s.

    22 weeks today! 

    Any appointments coming up?
    Not until next month. I just had my monthly OB appt where they shared with me that I have to be on antibiotics until I deliver due to 3 UTIs in a month. So there’s that... 

    But my BP. Was down, so that’s a blessing!!!

    I’m just frustrated about the UTI issue. Mainly because I’ve been doing everything I was told to avoid them and they never go away. As long as my sweet girl is ok, that makes me feel better, but still. It’s frustrating to not be able to do anything about it!

    fudge. I love it anytime but I really love mint fudge. 

    oh, and puppy chow! The combo of chocolate and peanut butter gets me every time!!

    @mikkimikey yay for the lower BP!  That is a big deal and definitely worth a huge sigh of relief!  Sorry about the UTI though :(.

    @mikkimikey Girl, that is such a drag about all the UTIs. I'm so sorry that you are dealing with that. Excellent news about the lower BP though!

    I am good! I'm super grateful that we had a normal a/s last week. I feel like I can finally really accept that this pregnancy is happening and I'm not as scared to feel excited or happy about it now. I'm so thankful that hurdle is over with. We have even started talking names and made some decor decisions about the nursery. 

    GTKY:  What is your favorite  holiday food/candy?  Any special reason you love it, or is it just freakin delicious?
    I mean wine. Because wine. But also, I really like those Italian wedding cookies with chopped walnuts in them that are coated in powdered sugar. My dad makes a huge batch every year and they are the bomb.

    This is sort of AW, but here's what we are planning for the nursery- 
    We already have the wall mural decal, the crib is the same one that DD has, the glider and side table are things that we found at target, and the pillows and curtains I'm going to order from etsy. The walls are going to be sea salt by Sherwin Williams and the pink and beige are accent colors. The pic on the lower right is an inspiration pic that I found on pinterest. We just did all of this in the past week. After the a/s, I kind of went cray with decor stuff.

    @kbamomma33 that is so adorable!  I love the colors together.  I wish I was that good at planning palettes.  I just was like "two shades of aqua for the sky and water, and done!".

    I am doing alright. Kind of hunkering down and surviving this week of work since for some reason it's the busiest in the year for us.  You'd think businesses would have gotten loans last month, and are too busy swelling to bother with bank stuff, but to look.  Physically Rhinitis is kicking my butt, however it is survivable.

    @ngolimento Blegh, rhinitis is no fun. I'm sorry it's still giving you trouble. Hang in there at work too! At my old job, right before/around the holidays was always the busiest time of year too. I hope that you can power through it and get some relaxation and self care in pretty soon!
